We stopped in and got a double shot of espresso and a drip coffee. The place is pretty neat on the inside..they do, indeed, have a big comfy couch! Thanks for that guys! The drip coffee selection was good, they have it set up as a serve yourself station. It's definitely a nice spot for a cup of coffee and a sweet snack. The baked goods looked slammin! The espresso though..It had zero crema and it was also bitter/harsh to get down. I definitely wouldn't recommend this be the stop if that's what you're looking for. They do not have a bathroom that I saw..which is sad.. because it's not like we've all never had the coffee before. Other than that..the shop was super relaxed, the barista was super kind, and friendly.. helpful. I feel comfortable saying it's LGBTQ+ friendly..I definitely felt like it was a safe place. I would definitely check them out of you're in the area. For more in depth reviews check out the blog https://peripateticcoffeeco.com

I had a nice cuppa coffee here, very nice coffee house

Breezin' thru York, I was on a mission for coffee and found The Green Bean Roasting Company on Yelp. First off, York is a really pretty city. Tree lined, it had a real hometown feel. When I walked in, I was greeted by a cheerful barista. I asked her what's brewing and she suggested a bold roast. Looking around, its a cozy little coffee house. There is a gentleman sitting by the window sill. I see he has a military flight bag? We start talking and I tell him I was out at sea with helicopters and jump jets. He tells me he was in the Airforce. I wanted to tell him, picture a moving airstrip that's pitching and yawing while trying to land a plane at midnight while its raining. Yeah... Go Navy! haha Anyhoo, the coffee is good as well as my baked cookie. Super nice folks in a nice town, thanks Green Bean Roasting Company!

Their coffee is amazing. They know how to treat their customers with politeness and I enjoy coming here to be able to focus on my work and be in a calm environment. Plus their green aesthetic is super pretty.

Great atmosphere, fast internet, and clean facilities. Enjoyed a stop here on my trip to York to recharge and relax. Customer service was great. 4 stars because the banana nut mocha was really sweet, I think because I had it iced so chocolate in it didn't dissolve well. Overall really enjoyed this place. Quick note: parking I found was $1 an hour and only took quarters but was plentiful.

    Such a cool, funky space!

I really liked the vibe of The Green Bean Roasting Company. It was such a cute corner coffee shop and I loved the tables right inside the windows facing the street outside the front of the shop. I had just eaten lunch so I didn't get a chance to try any of the baked goods that were available, but I did order a raspberry white mocha -- it wasn't my favorite, I couldn't really taste the flavor in it at all. But I liked the shop overall and would definitely try it out again!

Love this gem in York! I stopped here today (2nd visit) because I currently don't have internet and needed some wi-fi plus COFFEE! The decorations and seating is fresh and inviting. The coffee is roasted on site and the selection is delectable. I had a black coffee and there were 5 different options available, decaf, Peanut butter crunch and three other styles that are not flavored. I thought what, Peanut Butter Crunch- no way?! I tried it, and hands down, I am a fan. It is tasty and smooth! The wi-fi is strong and free plus the people behind the counters are lovely. My only wish is that they had some gluten free muffins or cookies. The gluten free BoBo's oat bars are expensive for the little morsel that you get. Regardless, I will definitely be back and others should join me.

The coffee shop is large and has multiple rooms. Each room sort of had it's own vibe. It's like a choose your own adventure based on your mood. My friend's sister raved about the coffee flights and that's what we all ended up ordering. The flight comes with four drinks and you can customize them pretty much however you would like. They have many flavors to choose from and you can mix and match syrups (they have something like 40 syrup flavors)! I opted for iced coffee. I loved that I could do oat milk and even customize the amount of whipped cream. I tried the Samoa Latte, Hazelnut Cookie, Strawberry Cupcake Mocha, and Maple French Toast. All of them were very good and I honestly don't remember which flavor I preferred. I really enjoyed the coffee at Belmont Bean Co. and I would be a regular if I lived in York. The next time I'm in town, I will be making a stop for my caffeine fix.

Immediately, a friend recommended the new Restless Coffee Co because of their late hours, beautiful ambience, and of course...their coffee and rolled ice cream! Check out how they make it! The service was good - staff were kind and inviting. However, the trash was overflowing and should have been monitored periodically with such a busy day. I understand it's not a fast food joint but if you're not able to meet the time your own system gave me, I would have appreciated some communication and customer care and service. Instead, I had to ask someone to check on my order at which point I was told it was just getting started so I chose to ask for a refund instead of wait even longer. It seemed that they had 3-4 people up front and only one in the kitchen so the drinks came out fast while the food was on the slower side. If you have time to stay and linger, it shouldn't be an issue. But I'd be mindful if you're trying to get in and out.

My adventure buddy and I were headed to York and looking for somewhere new, different, and delicious to grab lunch. After a little online reconnaissance, Copper Crust Co. landed firmly at the top of the list. The menu looked fantastic...sweet treats, sandwiches, quiche, baked goods, and enough tempting options that narrowing down an order felt like a personal challenge! We arrived around 11:45am and were lucky enough to find a parking spot right out front. We walked inside and immediately discovered that apparently everyone else had also figured out Copper Crust Co. was the place to be. The place was PACKED! Every table was occupied and a long line stretched toward the ordering counter. Fortunately, the line moved quickly. Unfortunately, that meant we had plenty of time to stare at the bakery case while waiting. I suspect this is at least partially intentional. The display of pastries, cakes and sweet treats sits right alongside the ordering line, teasing you every step of the way. By the time I reached the register, I was contemplating lunch, dessert, second dessert, and possibly a bakery box for later. My adventure buddy ordered a classic BLT ($10.69) and a Diet Coke ($1). I decided to branch out with the Spinach, Sundried Tomato & Feta Quiche ($8.99) and a Diet Coke. Total for lunch for two came to $27.58 before tip, which felt completely reasonable. After ordering, we were given a table number and told to grab any available table we could find. This led to the only hiccup of the visit. A sign near the ordering area instructed guests to leave dishes on the tables for staff to clear, but on this particular Saturday the staff simply couldn't keep up with the volume. We eventually found an abandoned table covered with dirty dishes, crumbs, scrambled eggs, bacon remnants, and the previous guests' table marker. Copper Crust was clearly slammed. Honestly, my only suggestion would be to add a guest-accessible bussing station for busy weekends. A spot where customers could scrape plates and stack dishes would probably help tables turn over much faster when the dining room is bursting at the seams. Not wanting to hover awkwardly while waiting for staff, I cleaned the table myself and stacked everything neatly out of the way. Problem solved. A few minutes later, our food arrived and immediately erased any lingering concerns. The mixed greens salad that accompanied our meals was surprisingly excellent. Normally, a pile of just greens (plus two small pieces of pineapple) doesn't do much for me, but whatever light, slightly sweet dressing they use is fantastic! My adventure buddy and I both devoured every last leaf. The BLT featured thick-cut bacon and hearty slices of multigrain bread, both of which earned enthusiastic approval from my adventure buddy. My quiche was outstanding. The spinach, sundried tomatoes, and feta were plentiful, but the real star was the crust. Too many quiches treat the crust as an afterthought. Not this one. Flaky, buttery, substantial, and absolutely worth eating every bite. It was one of the best quiches I've had in quite a while, and I seriously considered getting back in line for another slice. Copper Crust Co. ended up being one of those unexpected gems that makes adventure days so much fun. Great food, reasonable prices, friendly staff, and enough bakery goodness to justify a return trip all by itself. Next time I'm in York around breakfast, brunch, or lunch, there's a very good chance you'll find me back in that line staring at the bakery case and making questionable decisions involving dessert before noon.
