On my last visit to York, my friends brought me to Belmont Bean Co. I immediately noticed the cute Halloween decor out front. The puns were actually quite funny. The coffee shop is large and has multiple rooms. Each room sort of had it's own vibe. It's like a choose your own adventure based on your mood. My friend's sister raved about the coffee flights and that's what we all ended up ordering. The flight comes with four drinks and you can customize them pretty much however you would like. They have many flavors to choose from and you can mix and match syrups (they have something like 40 syrup flavors)! I opted for iced coffee. I loved that I could do oat milk and even customize the amount of whipped cream. I tried the Samoa Latte, Hazelnut Cookie, Strawberry Cupcake Mocha, and Maple French Toast. All of them were very good and I honestly don't remember which flavor I preferred. I really enjoyed the coffee at Belmont Bean Co. and I would be a regular if I lived in York. The next time I'm in town, I will be making a stop for my caffeine fix. read more

This place has an amazing menu of specialty drinks, but I'm a plain girly who normally sticks with an americano. Their americanos are good and I've even bought beans to make espresso at home. The last time I ordered the caramel macchiato and I asked for it to be half sweet. It wasn't sweet AT ALL, my husband and I cold taste zero vanilla. Next time I'd try it at regular sweetness! The drink was still good, but I'm guessing they don't make their drinks overly sweet typically? I'll have to try it out more. Whenever I inquire how many shots of espresso, how much syrup, etc they have in drinks, the barista has always been fairly grumpy about it! It's the reason why I've docked a star. I like the drinks, the space is cool, and while some of the baristas seem sweet, the girl I tend to get at the register is so unhelpful! read more

I am so upset it's taken me this long to try this coffeehouse! They have a nice parking lot, so parking was a breeze they are literally right off the highway super easy and not right in the city, which is nice. They have a cute outside seating area and a cozy inside as well. We saw they did coffee flights and knew we had to do one! It was a fantastic pick. You could create your own drinks or pick from the two pages of already made-up drinks. We decided to try four of their already made-up drinks! They were all delicious it was so good so we each got a drink to go! I went with the sand dollar latte which is coconut and salted caramel however I do have to say I was disappointed it wasn't nearly as good as the flight ones I don't think enough Caramel, barley any Caramel drizzle when my boyfriend got a ton of mocha drizzle on his. Walking in for the first time I loved the atmosphere! The baristas are very welcoming and friendly. We saw the flights of Belmont Bean Co on Facebook and decided to travel to York to check them out. This place is a gem and BUSY! Thankfully they had multiple baristas working while we were there on an early Saturday afternoon. It looks tiny on the outside and we were afraid there was no seating. They have a whole other side of the establishment that are seats with tables. I decided to get the flight with 3 lattes and a macchiato - they were all very good. Not too sweet and certainly not bitter (like some coffee shops). You can get a flavor, whipped cream, and a drip if you desire. You can also get a flight of hot coffees if you prefer. I enjoyed everything about Belmont and next time we're in York, we'll be sure to swing by. read more

Great great great coffee shop with food and space to hang out. I loved coming here and will likely stop here again on my way past. I was only driving through. I got a latte that was really good and I also got a stroopwafel that I loved. It was a perfect combo. The customer service was fantastic and I even bought a set of earrings that were made locally. They have some cute gifts for purchase as well. I will be back and maybe if I Have time I will enjoy sitting in for a day. Such cute and cozy coffee shop. You can sit on a comfy, couch, chair, or up at a bar. Coffee is on point, as well as the baked goods.

I tried, I really did. I have been here twice now and both time the service is horrendous. I understand that you may be understaffed and only have 1 or 2 people working both the register and making drinks, but the wait is so long to the point I don't want to come back here. Maybe I this is the place to come when you are bringing your laptop and staying for awhile, but I am typically a grab your coffee and go kind of girl. The place is small and cozy with a nice selection for lattes and dri.nks. The staff is nice but the coffee is just ok. The flights of coffee are a cool concept but take forever for the staff to make. Both times I have been here, I ordered simple drinks: cold brew with no cream or sugar. Again, I understand the concept of a queue; the person before me ordered so they should get there drinks before me, but waiting 20 minutes for someone to pour me already made coldbrew into a cup is infuriating. Overall, unless you have a lot of time to kill, I wouldn't recommend coming here. read more

Wow. A hidden gem. This place has such a fun selection of drinks. They have a customizable flight option where you can try four different iced or hot coffees. The staff are so friendly. So I made my first trip here and I really was pleasantly surprised. The selection of not only regular sugary additives but sugar free additives was great. I had my normal American coffee with sugar free vanilla and it was great! Now, I definitely am intrigued with some of there many unique additives, particularly the Peanut Butter!!! Just moved right around the corner, thought I'd give this place a try. Definitely check-in via Yelp when you're there and get 10% off your order! The coffee is the best I have gotten in York. Very friendly baristas. Lots of ways to customize your coffee. It has a nice, cozy feel, kinda looks like a hipster place (which isn't a bad thing). Ample parking next door, an actual parking lot which is nice since I try to avoid parking on the street whenever I can. Even if you're not a coffee person, they have tea, and assorted pastries are on display next to the register as well. Espresso was not acidic and had warm notes of almonds. The owner Welcomed us. She was nice, explained what was on the menu. Not a lot because testing the waters sotospeak. I ordered caramel macchiato and my husband ordered hot chocolate.
