This place is great. Great customer service and the groomers are very good at what they do. They take the time to introduce themselves to your pups and are so good with them. They made an appointment for me for Sunday, October 9 at 12:45 PM followed up with a confirmation for that same date and time. I thought it odd that they had Sunday hours but didn't question it when I showed up the place was closed locked up tight so it was a wasted day for me On Monday morning I called and got a live person to speak to they apologize for the mixup apparently a couple people were sick and there was a miscommunication they're going to reschedule me and discount my service so it appears that it was a one time glitch and hopefully everything will work out read more

This being the only 2nd groomer I have used, I can't comment on too many around this area. But have loved the treatment they have provided for my recently inherited 16yo mini poodle. Was able to get her groomed before the shutdown - and yes it was difficult to get through when they re-opened, but they did call me back and although I did have to wait another month before I could get her back in, it was worth it. I wish I could give a good review of this place, since it looked nice and the people were friendly. When I got my dog home, I noticed spots of blood all over the towel he sits on in the car. My husband and I examined him and found several abrasions and had to treat them with antibiotic cream. In our many years of dog ownership, I've never seen a dog bleeding after a grooming. So I went here recently .. I arrive at 8 am the woman there is on the phone and explains to me her dog is very sick and she needs to bring her to the vet but she's going to do my appt first and assured me her dog didn't need to go ASAP. Felt a bit strange about that but okay. She was very nice and understanding about the fact that my dog is diabetic and has some separation anxiety. She did the whole job In An hour which honestly is the fastest I've ever seen. She called me ten mins before she was finished so that I could arrive exactly when my dog was done which was great. However the cut was strange.. she told me that her assistant seemed off today (super weird because no one else was there that idea but her) and told me I could come back if that week I noticed problems. She told me my dog has two different hair types and her neck hair is weird so may not be cut as well. Which I've been getting her groomed for 12 years and no other groomer has had a problem with. She also told me her assistant may not have properly rinsed my dog as well. I had her fix one very obvious patch right away that was a ton longer and I noticed a lot more patches as mistakes as the week went on but I didn't want to torture my dog by bringing her back. I think she was just extremely distracted because her dog was sick and just didn't do a great job. But after paying 65 dollars for it I think I will just choose a different groomer to try next time. I think she was very aware she didn't do a good job - or maybe her "assistant" . Either way she probably should have just said this wasn't her best work and maybe not charged me or taken a percentage off or something ! I honestly wish she has just taken her dog to the vet and asked me to come back at a different point in time. read more

I was a little concerned after reading reviews, but an acquaintance recommended this place. I brought in my very fluffy powderpuff chinese crested. The wait time was only 6 weeks, and I was able to schedule a Saturday appointment. Suzie (the dog) came out looking adorable with a little bow around her neck. The haircut looks very proffesional, and the groomer followed my instructions to leave the ears and tail longer. The wash/cut took about an hour and 15 minutes. I liked that they texted me when she was about to be ready so I knew when to pick her up. The price was also on par with other groomers in the area. read more

My dog's last cut at a different place was a nightmare, so I was happy to try Green Groomer for the first time. Her cut was perfect, she was given a bath, nails clipped, all in less than an hour and a half. She's always had a beautiful and soft coat, but it was never more beautiful and soft than after that cut. Her groomer (didn't get her name) was tres sympa. I get that we are in a pandemic, but other businesses have called customers to reschedule cancelled appointments, and no one answers the phone at Green Groomer or returns phone calls. Disgraceful. My havanese was just groomed 5 weeks ago, but thought I'd try a new place. Beware! They called me to inform me my dog was matted. I requested for them to wash comb etc but do not cut. I however said do the best you can. I didn't mean to cut/Shave him. I would have taken him to another groomer in town. 70$ and they shaved parts of his neck, his whole belly and the cut on the face isn't even. It makes no sense. BEWARE!!!! read more

Their prices seem comparable to other area groomers, and it feels good to support a local business that uses products that are safe for pets and the environment. We moved here 2 years ago and were looking for a new groomer for our small havanese. I started to use the Green Groomer because of a recommendation from someone at the dog park. Our dog is 8 years old, and we have never had a problem with a groomer. But when we started going here they couldn't cut her face short enough or something, I asked multiple times for the exact same cut she had been getting for the past 6 years. But every time I had to bring her home from the Green Groomer and cut the fur around her muzzle with a pair of scissors. Not that big of a deal, but I had JUST paid for her to be groomed, why did I then need to bring her home and immediately hack away at the fur on her face? But I kept going, finally like 2 appointments ago the woman cut her face fur like the rest of her body. But our last appointment she was not available, so we were going to have a new groomer, Tessa. Last Saturday she had a family emergency and had to go to the hospital an hour and a half before our dogs appointment. I totally understand, and she wanted to reschedule for this Saturday at 2:45. I understood it was a family emergency, but Tessa was able to text me 4 times, including one that said "I am going to stay late next weekend to give your pet a nice spa day". Got there today at 2:45, and our dog was not in the book, they had not put her down for today. Once was fine, but I have to rearrange my day to make sure the dog can get to the groomer. She said she was willing to groom our dog, but there was no washer (guess he has been fired, according to Tessa) , and she was fully involved in grooming a golden retriever, and so our dog could stay, but she would have to be in a cage for an hour and 15 minutes to an hour and a half while she finished up with the golden. I had already rearranged 2 Saturdays in a row, and now our dog was going to have to stay in a cage for an hour or more, and then get groomed? And she was going to have to start from the beginning. Just no, do not go here, it is not a professional place. She offered me nothing for the fact that she had forgotten to put the dog in the book, literally not even and "I'm sorry"... There are other bad reviews out on yelp and at least mine here, I chose to overlook other bad reviews, but hopefully you will not make the same mistake. Find a different groomer. We pay a lot to have our dogs groomed, we shouldn't have to go home and cut their faces ourselves, or have them forget to put our dog in the book. DO not go here. read more
