Bloody Mary

Great spot for morning breakfast out on the boat. Nothing fancy, but a summer staple. A dive, but good service, and you can't beat eating right at the lake. Favorite is the Bloody Mary with a miller lite chaser. I'll be ordering the Reuben again.

If you're around the area, this is a must stop for breakfast or lunch! Great views of Lake Waubesa, generous portions of food, quick and friendly service, and drinks-a-plenty. The prices are so reasonable and our waitstaff was on top of everything with the busy tables. We will definitely come back!!!

Great hometown restaurant on the lake. It gets very busy sometimes so be ready for a long wait if you want a seat with a view. Also has a great bar with friendly bartenders and karaoke some nights. Food is good Wisconsin supper club staples, but they do have a variety of daily specials.

This is our "fully cooked" grouper.

A little disappointed in Green Lantern after being served raw fish that was hidden under a bed of crab meat. See attached picture of fish. Since the crab meat was placed directly over the fish, the cook staff knew they had served undercooked fish. The ends were cooked, which is what confused us and the server. Tom, I assume was the manager, apologized profusely once he saw what we were served and said that this is not the standard. A lady from behind the bar asked us to pay our bill and we could get free dessert. Unfortunately, everyone who ate the fish started becoming sick and we had to leave. Tom comp'd the table as we headed to urgent care. We were provided worm tablets and anti-nausea medicine. Aside from the fish incident, our fish being served 1.5 hours after having our order taken; everyone else was served pasta and chicken and enjoyed their meals. They were served 45 minutes after having their order taken. Before our departure, Tom indicated that the cool staff tried to rush our order after getting behind a couple hours. This meant we waited roughly forty five minutes for undercooked/raw fish. Our wait staff was friendly and helpful. I felt bad for her and left a $20 tip to show I had no hard feelings; despite the $50 copay for urgent care. I hadn't been to Green Lantern in 20 years and remembered it being really nice. I will never return again.

Back for a second time with my Dad. Prices and portions still AMAZE me - so reasonable and substantial respectively . I had the same waitress as the first time and she was just as pleasant and attentive. The lake view never gets old either! I will continue to go back and share with more family/friends.

Walleye Sandwich and seasoned fries

I'm so glad to give this local restaurant a try! They are operating with limited inside dining, curbside pick up, or go inside for pick up. We ordered for pick up and it was ready in about 20 minutes. The ordering process was simple and the staff member was accommodating to substitutions. Payment for food is at pick up too. The menu offers a variety of entree options! They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I tried the Giddy Up Burger and substituted grilled chicken. The sandwich was alright but the bbq sauce nailed a sweet and tangy taste which I enjoyed. My partner ordered the Walleye sandwich and was thoroughly pleased with the size. He really liked it! We both got seasoned fries and they had a good flavor. If you're looking for decent bar food, give this restaurant a try! We will be back again to try something new.

This bar has excellent cocktails and friendly staff, featuring the kind of classy drinks I love but rarely indulge in (sidecars, manhattans, palomas, and more). Some nights they even feature a DJ! The space is two cars, with one set up as a full-time bar, and the other a mixed space that was a dance club on the night we visited. The bar car was super cute and quaint, but also tight and cramped, especially with a crowd. The car is set up with a single person bar towards the back, and lounge seating along one side leaving small space for folks to walk and wait for the bar. The other car had the bar up front and the dance floor and seating in the back. This car had a cover, so we just did cocktails and lounged a bit in the bar car. The single bartender, while he was friendly and made a good cocktail, created a backlog of folks waiting for drinks. We waited 10 minutes in a single file line for our cocktails. I went with the espresso martini, and my pal got an old fashioned. Both tasty, but the glassware was wayyyyy too small. The line never cleared, so we did one and done unfortunately. The concept is great, but execution is lacking. I know there is limited space, but the current layout and function is not the greatest, especially on the cocktail car side of things. Overall, it was cool to experience and now we can say we have done it.

However, once we got over that hump, the service was pretty good, especially as a few larger tables cleared out. I had the mahi mahi fish tacos. They were pretty good. Definitely larger than I was expecting. It has definitely been a long while since I've had mahi mahi, so it was a bit of an adjustment on my part. To be honest, I didn't really notice the jicama, and I'm sure you could mistake it for carrots or any other mild root vegetable. The chili lime vinaigrette was where it was at though. Wasn't too sweet, spicy, or sour. I thought it had a really nice balance of flavors. I chose the potato dippers as my side, and those were different. They're like a mix between a potato chip and steak fries. They didn't taste bad or anything, it was just for me, they were a bit to soft texturally to be considered a "fry." My fellow diners both had the Spring Buddha Bowls. They seemed to be enjoyed. There was a comment made about the peanut sauce having a bit more spicy kick than expected, but it seemed as it was a good contrast to the sweet cherry tomatoes and corn. Overall, a very nice restaurant whose acoustics seemed to be better than what they appeared to be, i.e. I was able to hear what the others at my table were saying. Overall, the service and food was good enough that I would consider visiting again, and recommending it has a place to people visiting the area.

I had a salad with a variety of vegetables and filet mignon cut up in the salad. Fireplace is nice in winter. Could relax and enjoy. Very reasonably priced.
