Their other specials like the Nashville chicken sandwich, ribs, and Friday fish fry are always worth checking out too. Desserts are always a win here, so I try to save room. Drinks are solid as well with plenty of beer and cocktail options. The only downside is parking. The lot fills up fast, so you may end up on the street if you arrive later. We ended up buying a house within stumbling distance, and needless to say, the Malt House has become a favorite neighborhood hangout. The bartenders are friendly, and if you have questions about any of the beers in their gigantic selection, they will gladly tell you what they know with no beer snobbery whatsoever. They occasionally have live music, but it's acoustic, so it doesn't get too loud in the tiny space. It's far enough away from downtown that it doesn't get obnoxiously crowded.
