I was very pleased with my spontaneous, first visit . The perfect spot to relax among plants with coffee or grab a grilled cheese at the bar or find the perfect wine to take on the go. They offer monthly events and I'm aiming to try one of their zodiac inspired first Friday wine gathering.
Went for a 5-mile stroll along the riverwalk and stoped at this coffee shop which was such a gem. This place is called greenhouse for a reason. There are fresh plants and plant food/soil for purchase. The most impressive part are the drinks! I've had the pink cloud matcha twice in two days because it was so good. Ive also tried the blueberry lemonade matcha which is more of a sparkling refreshing drink that lets the matcha shine through. The space is very relaxing and very cute. They also have a small menu of sandwiches to select from which are also pretty good. I've tried the Brie and fig panini and of course I added bacon. Check out this place if you're in the Riverside area.
Always a plus when they validate parking! The greenhouse bar is a super vibey spot, and a good place to hang out and catch up with friends. Could be a good place to get some work done, but only really depending if you're able to get a table. Luckily, they do have a lot of outdoor seating. They have lots of really cool and unique drinks, which is always fun. And I'm always a sucker for a seasonal menu. But the prices sadly reflect those, and are pretty up there. That being said, the drinks really do deliver on the flavors they promise. I love that they're open full day, so you can basically stay there as long as you want, and just get your food and drinks in one place. Will definitely have to come back to try the food and other drinks because they looked really good!

There are several seating options, bar stools, dining chairs, a tucked away bench. A great spot for those who work from home and need a new scenery. The atmosphere is very laid back. It's also a cute date spot. Their menus boasts so many options, including coffee, spiked coffee, wine, spirits, and pastries! The baristas / bartenders were super friendly. I ordered a lavender latte and they nailed it. Their espresso hit the spot! Such a great experience.
Walking into greenhouse I was so excited, the beautiful plants everywhere! But when I was cashing out I felt like I was not the customer they wanted there which was strange. But I still ordered, my breve was $9.00 + tip so slightly high prices but you can valet your car with your reciept which is a cool concept. All around cool place would recommend giving a one shot chance atleast

Greenhouse Bar is one of my go-to spots in Riverside, especially after a walk along the Riverwalk. We usually end up here after tiring out the pup, and the outdoor seating is perfect for relaxing and cooling off. The space is super cute with lots of greenery and an open-air setup that gives it a laid-back, neighborhood feel. It's one of those places that works for almost anything, whether you're grabbing a quick coffee or tea, meeting friends, or staying for one of their creative (and very good) espresso martinis. They also host a lot of fun events throughout the week, which makes it a great option for a girls' night, casual hang, or even a cute brunch date. Easy, relaxed vibe and always a solid stop in Riverside.
The garden setup and bar area are a really neat touch. They have a great variety of plants throughout the space and plenty of seating, which gives it a relaxed, welcoming feel. The coffee is good, too. It's a nice spot to stop by if you're walking through Riverside.
Why did it take me so long to come into The Greenhouse?! This place is my type of vibe, plants everywhere, coffee in the morning and liquor in the evening(maybe in the morning too ). As soon as you walk in it feels like you step into paradise, no exaggeration here. I ordered one of the December specials which was spiced cranberry pie matcha and I got it with the Plant bundle special which happened to be a monstera this month! The special is $23 total for the plant and the drink. The matcha was amazing, the flavor of the spiced cranberry pie was not overwhelming and you could still taste the matcha. This is definitely a place I will visit over and over again
I honestly did not purchase any coffee . My reason for stopping in was the plants. As a plant momma I found the collection disappointing, neglected and possibly diseased. Honestly it was right after our terrible cold weather so I will reserve a 5 star for a later visit.

The space was beautiful with lots of plants, books, and little nooks to sit and chat. I did not try any alcohol but my coffee was very tasty but a little pricey compared to your chain coffee shops. The ambience and customer service was amazing! I will definitely keep it on my list for future coffee dates and meetings. They also had plenty of outdoor seating for a pretty day!
My bestie and I had a delightful visit to The Greenhouse Bar in Riverside. This spot beautifully merges a café, cocktail lounge and plant shop, creating a wonderfully cozy and peaceful atmosphere. We ended up relaxing here for about four hours or so. The bar offers a fantastic menu of coffee, cocktails, and wines complemented by small meals like grilled sandwiches. My Mocha was delicious--warm, sweet, and perfectly chocolatey--and the Chai Latte was excellent. The decor was neat featuring a wall of wine and the shop area sells a variety of beautiful plants (from snake plants to cacti) which is such a unique touch. They even offer a wine club which is great for wine lovers. It was interesting to see their wine club is themed towards horoscopes and had recommended wines based on your horoscope. The staff were wonderful, friendly and the restrooms were notably clean. I highly recommend this spot for a relaxing and chill out time. You can bring your laptop to work, study or catch up on your Yelp reviews. I can't wait to return and maybe finally buy a plant!
I'm not ashamed to admit that I popped in to The Greenhouse Bar three times for coffee. Who wouldn't want to imbibe in a delicious latte in the company of houseplants? Next time I'm in Jax, I'm going to come back three more times.
Stopped by the cutest little bar for a nightcap. We came in pretty close to close and it was a ghost town. I was surprised! It's adorable , full of cute plants, good drinks, and great service. We just sat at the bar but there's loads of great seating. I did also notice they have quite a coffee menu so I definitely want to go back for coffees soon! read more

Wow wow wow Talk about a breath of FRESH air! Omg I am so in love with this place! My first time going in and I couldn't be happier. The decor and vibe alone makes your mood happier. So I was very excited to try Greenhouse. I ordered an iced matcha latter with oat milk and vanilla and lavender and later tried a THC mocktail. Both drinks were delicious and the thc mocktail absolutely did what it was suppose to do if you catch my drift I stayed for 3 hours and about to accomplish so much work! I'm will definitely be back! read more
Hello everyone! I am new to the area, and have only visited The Greenhouse Bar twice thus far. Each time that I have come, I have sat at the bar and have received excellent service! The bartenders check on you respectfully (like not every five minutes, but in a reasonable timeframe where you can enjoy your drink in peace and put in another order when you are ready). This time, I ordered the Passenger Princess and Pie in the Sky with blueberry matcha. Out of the two drinks, I think I enjoyed the Pie in the Sky more! Both were good, but the blueberry matcha really added a nice flavor to the matcha to where it did not taste like grass like how matcha can taste. Even when I drank most of the blueberry flavoring, the drink was still delicious! The Ambiance is great as well! Very calming and not overwhelming at all. The plants around the bar add a nice touch with relaxing music in the background. I really enjoy the days when it's less crowded just because it's easier to find a seat haha, but props to the bar for their busy days!!!! Regarding the food, I have never ordered food from there so I cannot speak to it, but they do have a toaster oven device here where they can heat up food. I am not sure if they have a kitchen in the back. However, I do know that you can order food here. 10/10 recommend you checking this place out! You can even get a plant! read more

Love the vibe when you walk in, very welcoming. A good place to feel comfy going by yourself. The sauce on The Greenhouse sandwich is soo good, and the coffee is great. I got two coffees my friend ended up getting 3 I'm glad they have a sign for house safe plants to purchase. Very helpful. read more

Such a cute spot in the Riverside area! I visited the Greenhouse Bar looking for a place to grab a coffee and study and it did not disappoint. The space is a cool contrast of an industrial vibe with the exposed ceiling and the zen created by plants that cover the space. I love how it's not only a cafe, but also a bar and plant store. The service was very kind and patient as I explored their huge menu which had a list of different coffees, food, snacks, cocktails, and mocktails. I got a specialty latte and some dips to munch on while I studied and it was a great snack. The relaxing atmosphere was perfect for studying. If you're in the neighborhood and in need of a morning coffee or evening cocktail or looking for some plants to liven up your own space, the Greenhouse Bar has you covered. read more

Every single time I come to the greenhouse bar, I am thoroughly delighted. The seasonal menu always exceeds itself today I tried strawberry shortcake Matcha. This has been the best version of Strawberry Matcha yet ! The pastries are always good. I got the raspberry cheesecake and pie, which was delicious. The Greenhouse Bar in Riverside is one of the most creative and vibey coffee spots in Jacksonville. From the second you walk in, the space feels alive. Neon signage, plants everywhere, and a beautifully curated bar that makes you want to stay awhile. Their seasonal and signature drinks are on another level. Everything we tried was perfectly balanced, visually stunning, and clearly made with care. Whether you're in the mood for something creamy, refreshing, or a little adventurous, this is the kind of place that always has something new and exciting to try. Don't sleep on the food, either. The lunch menu is a must, and the breakfast and grilled cheese sandwiches are seriously good. I tried the pesto and cheese grilled sandwich, and it was packed with bold, fresh flavor. Crispy on the outside, melty and herby on the inside. Simple ingredients, done right. The vibe, the drinks, and the food all come together to make this one of Riverside's standout spots. Greenhouse Bar isn't just a coffee stop, it's an experience. I'll definitely be back. read more

This is still 100% no doubt my favorite coffee shop/plant shop/ wine bar/place to work remotely out of! And yes - you can do all three at once!! Plus they even serve food! What don't they do here? The service may be on the "slow" side when it's busy but I promise you it's 100% always worth the wait! Each drink is handcrafted to perfection. The ambiance is unmatched. Parking was a nightmare. Besides that, this place is so cute. They have plants everywhere. I was in love with the aesthetic. We had a book club meeting here. The drinks were ok. My mocktail and croissant seem to be overpriced in my opinion. read more

Honestly one of the coolest spots I've been to in a while. It's got that cozy plant-filled vibe that makes you want to hang out all day. Came by for a low-key study session and it was exactly what I needed. Super chill atmosphere, great natural lighting, tons of seating, and it wasn't noisy at all. Perfect for getting some work done or just relaxing with a drink. I tried the banana matcha latte and it was such a fun combo. If you've ever had Korean banana milk, it's like that but with a matcha twist. Creamy, sweet, and super comforting. Definitely something I'd get again. We also shared the kimchi sandwich, which surprised me in the best way. Toasted bread with just the right amount of crunch, gooey cheese, and kimchi that added this tangy, spicy punch. It's a solid choice if you're into bold flavors and want something meat-free that still feels satisfying. Service was really smooth. Everyone was kind, easygoing, and moved at a relaxed pace that matched the whole energy of the place. No rush, no pressure, just good vibes. Delectable vibes among the plants and the wide open space in this cafe. A few spots for studying as well. Overall probably a 4/5 for studyability given 1) strong wifi, 2) a fair amount of tables 3) quiet music but the sound of chatter can be quite amplified. Nice little plant shop area to walk around for a study break though. I got their iced tea of the day which was supposed to be orange blossom with something. I opted to get it sweetened. Unfortunately, it mostly just tasted like whatever sweetener they used rather than any identifiable fruit flavor. Also got the chips and dip with guac, queso and spinach dip. The guac was a little mid but the other two were enjoyable. A little pricy for what it was though. If not for the plants, probably a 3/5 given the food but the plants do give such a unique vibe. Will say that the plants are quite pricy. There are a couple rare pieces in there but even for common plants like monstera, it was pricier than I'd see at other shops. read more

This little coffeehouse and bar was seriously the cutest. I loved their huge selection of plants and merchandise as well as their wide variety of food and drinks. I wish there was something like this closer to home! I started following their IG page and found out more about their plant and coffee duos, what they are doing to create community, and their upcoming events. Additionally, they offer order ahead online, a loyalty program and they just launched a wine club!! If you're in the Jacksonville area and need a little pick me up, definitely drop in here!! We can't wait to come back. We tried the Dirty Earl and the blueberry milk latte. Both were FANTASTIC. We also had the roasted red pepper grilled cheese and that was also delicious... if anyone needed recommendations! read more

Adorable little hangout that serves coffee, adult beverages, and breakfast all day. Parking can be a bit tricky but I'm rarely in this side of town so there may be a parking garage that I'm not aware of. Greenhouse hosts tons of workshops and I attended the floral arrangement workshop put on by A Wild Array. It was so fun to drink (Prosecco on tap what?!), eat a most delicious pesto grilled cheese, and learn while surrounded by beautiful plants! read more
Ok....I AM OBSESSED. Might have to move to Jax just for The Greenhouse. I mean it. I stopped in and got a tahini brownie on my first day in Jax, and sat with coffee and breakfast on my last day here because I NEEDED to come back. It is gorgeous - perfectly decorated, cozy and homey but also just so modern and well-decorated with a clearly curated aesthetic. So many plants and greenery. I'm not even a plant person and I ended up leaving with an Alocasia plant???? I order the spiced pear latte, hot, and a sweet and savory croissant sandwich which had their house made egg patty, pesto, tomato, and cheese. It was a bit small, but delicious nonetheless. My latte was perfect too, not too sweet and the ideal drinking temperature immediately. I'm truly in love with this place!! read more

I loved this chic yet cozy coffeehouse! Went for lunch and got the greenhouse brew (cold brew with pistachio cold foam) - absolutely delicious! Also got the pesto sandwich- amazing! Service was super friendly and relatively fast (order at counter and they bring it to you). Inside seating is limited, so we ended up sitting outside. Still very nice, but inside has more ambiance. Plants are pricey but cute. Parking is on the street or in the adjacent shopping complex if you walk a little and cross the road. Reasonable lunch prices for the area and very delicious in fun riverside spot. Check it out! read more
The quality is above most coffee shops and for that I believe that their prices are justified. This shop feels like a garden juxtaposes the concrete jungle of downtown. Great meeting place to see a friend or a place to enjoy a latte and do some work. The food menu is very limited but it's okay. I mainly go here for the great lattes and the greenery. The baristas are very nice and several really care about their latte art. I think it should be mandated that all coffee shops in Jax have to provide latte art. It's my biggest food pet peeve. Chicago and London coffee shops never let me down. read more

I can't recall everything I got, but it was fantastic! They offer some really unique coffee and food options that were a delight to try. Just a heads up, there's limited seating, so it might get a bit cozy. I wasn't sure what to do with the dishes afterward, but everyone was super friendly and helpful. Oh, and I ended up buying a lovely plant that was reasonably priced! Overall, a great experience! read more
