Sidecar is a great Craft bar! Bartenders are truly mixologist with most drinks having multiple ingredients and a bunch of house made syrups and such. They have a nice front open patio with lots of seating and attached to V Pizza so you can grab wings and pizza anytime!

Stopped in late night and was happily surprised by their holiday decorations, and festive menu. Bartenders were helpful and friendly, and our drinks came out really well. I think it was because the pizza place had already closed for the night, but there was a little bit of an industrial cleaner kind of smell that I didn't love did get used to after 30-45 minutes

Everyone wants their own personal Cheers bar -- where everyone knows your name. Jordan and Gabriella may not know our names, but they know our faces and what we love to drink! The happy hour specials are always a hit and being attached to V Pizza allows you to drink and stay sober while enjoying Baywatch at the bar. If you're looking for good food (highly recommend the meatballs -- PLEASE BOTTLE THE MARINARA SAUCE) and drinks, this is your spot. Also, Thursday night trivia is always a hit.

I came here with some coworkers for pizza and cocktails. I love the setup of pizza on one side and bevs on the other. We placed our pie order and then came into sidecar for drinks. I forget the name of mine but it was one of the daily specials and it was delicious. The bartender whipped up drinks for the five of us and we went outside to a picnic table to enjoy the weather.

What an amazing bar connected to an amazing Jacksonville staple. Sidecar was new for me and wow: great drinks/bourbon, prices, friendly staff, and atmosphere. You gotta love what V's does with different types of bars/specialties at each location. We started of with some $2 Sunny D seltzers which we had to try since we grew up on Sunny Delight and they were pretty good. I of course had to try their Zombie drink which is always a favorite for me and at $10 it's for sure worth it very tasty with that kick you want. Will for sure some back to Sidecar when in the area. It's a must!

I could not believe I had not been to Sidecar before but a few weeks ago I met up with some friends and got to experience all the greatness! I am not totally understand why everything was Baywatch themed or how it ties into the name Sidecar but the bar went all in and I love it! Tropical vibes everywhere, tropical drinks and even Baywatch on the TV. There were some great deals on drinks when we were there, around 5:00 on a Thursday, and plenty of room for our big group to gather. We also ordered some delicious wings and a juicy Italian beef.

This is our normal Date spot. And I'm happy to say they have a new seasonal drink menu.

Sidecar gets top notch for the cocktails big plus is the fact that you can eat and get pizza and wings yummies too but v is just kinda inconsistent. We had 2 kinds of wings and a salad both wings were a bit over charred had to peel one side off cause burnt and the salad was lackluster. Again sidecars service and drinks can't be beat so I'll continue to go just maybe try something easier to make next time

No complaints here. Love this place. We always come here either for happy hour cocktails, afterhour cocktails, or cocktails to compliment the wood fired pizzas from VPizza next door. Their happy hour cocktail deals are a hit. Such a great deal! Our favorite cocktail is the painkiller #2. WE tend to have at least 2 of those right off the bat. :P. Service is friendly, quick, and easy. Good atmosphere for indoor or outdoor seating with indoor tvs for game day activities. Will be back again soon.

Pre fathers day trek. Happy Fathers day to all! Side car and V pizza was all that, and a bag of chips for all you old school heads out there. We busted the gates wide open at 3 pm. when they opened and never looked back. Bar and pizza, what a perfect combination! The Side car has drinks for days and days. I ordered the Zimbie. After a couple of minutes, I felt like a Zombie. Wifey had her usual Moscato. The calzone is big enough for 2. The baked wings were a and wifey ordered more. This place is great for an impromptu gathering or after work and just hanging with friends shooting the breeze. It gets crowded. If you don't like crowds, come early. If you like people come late at night. The bartender were super attentive. Preview the menu and the drinks before you go. It makes life much easier. Two snaps and around the world for Side car and shout out to V pizza for the great food.

Serving quality well made cocktails but also serve beer, wine, and NA mock-tails. Service is prompt and they do serve food from their connected V-Pizza restaurant. They have happy hour every day 3-7 and all day on Sundays.

Super cute place right beside a pizza shop. Came here for a short NYE with the hubby and they had a photo booth and music, serving up some NYE cocktails. They had a rum-based cocktail that was super delicious, as well as some quirky cocktails made with captain crunch vodka. Overall, a lovely time! Hey yelpers, I see there are pics of pizza and wings, anyone know what else is on the menu? Is there a menu? I'm headed here tonight and trying to see if I can grab a bite as well as a delicious cocktail. Thanks!

I'll let the photos from other reviews do the talking, but if you enjoy a good backstory, ask about the history of the space. My mission for the night was simple: end the evening with a great gin cocktail. I started with the Donna Bella from the menu. It was well made, but I thought the bitters were a little too forward for my taste. Next, I asked for an off-menu modification: a Water Lily for Teresa, but made with Roku Gin. It was a strong contender--aromatic, balanced, and beautifully floral. If you're a fan of a French 75, this is a fun cocktail to explore. It's less citrus-forward and leans into a floral profile with a character that's hard to compare to anything else. For the final round, I went with bartender's choice. Mick asked a few questions about my flavor preferences and absolutely nailed it. They crafted a cocktail with Roku gin, snap pea cordial, aloe liqueur, egg white, lemon simple, mint, and citrus that was easily the highlight of the night. Fresh, layered, and memorable, it's a drink that deserves a permanent spot on the menu....Mission accomplished. If you're willing to wander beyond the barbershop business front and you consider yourself a spirit explorer, Volstead is well worth the visit. Go for a round...or two. If you're local, this could easily become your staple spot. For what it is, strong craft cocktail bar option. Bartenders choice is the way to go.

The house band is pretty good, a little bit on the young side, but they seem to get the job done. OK. After the house being played a set, they had a sit in sessions with various musicians, which is always nice. The atmosphere is subtle and quiet at least for a club. Location is great, and the staff seemed friendly. It's good to have a place in Jacksonville with an environment like this and a place where you can go and listen to jazz/blues. I wish there was more like this, maybe with a little bit of older, jazz, musicians and more people who appreciate jazz as it didn't seem like the audience was 100% jazz lovers, but that doesn't detract too much especially since there's not a lot of places in Jacksonville that do what they're doing here.

I got here as they opened on Sunday, and it got packed relatively quickly. I'd recommend having a reservation if you're planning to visit during busier timeframes like this. I was seated promptly by attentive staff, and quickly had both food and drink menus to begin ordering. I was looking for something tasty without being too heavy, and settled on the Little Hans Vienna Lager along with the 8 oz steak burger and fries. The beer had amazing flavor similar to Devil's Backbone Vienna Lager with a good, crisp finish. The burger meal, described with "Tillamook cheddar cheese, caramelized onion & bacon jam, beef fat aioli, grilled potato roll, truffle fries", was arguablely the best burger and fries I've ever had in my life. Everything tasted fresh, and the flavor of the wood-fired grill certainly complemented the meat. The house-made pickles were a great touch to add another layer of complexity to the burger. I could tell the fries were fresh cut and never frozen. The truffle oil made these even more amazing. The manager offered and brought a special sauce to try that they normally serve with their chicken chicken sandwich that was superbly tasty and tangy. More than impressed with my entree, I elected to try a desert and was recommended the S'mores pie by my waitress. The deliciously buttery crust was my favorite part of the ensemble and blended well with the savory chocolate filling topped with a toasted marshmallow. While a bit pricey for lunch compared to most places, I was more than satisfied with the offerings provided here and would love to visit Ember and Iron again.
