Called the office and Adam came out a couple of days later to inspect our lawn and give us a quote. After talking to a few other local vendors, we decided to go with FENIX and we are really pleased we did. Adam, Kimberley and Erica communicated really well and answered any question we had about the entire process. They provided us with a few turf samples as well as an extensive list of referral addresses we could use to inspect their craftsmanship and the quality of the installed turf product. When the day to start the project arrived, Dylan and the large crew arrived right on time as arranged and immediately got to work. They were very professional and skilled. They were able to complete the entire project in one day and cleaned up the "worksite" nicely. A neighbor had recommended Fenix. About a year ago a representative came to our house to give an estimate. He brought samples and measured the area and was quite thorough in his explanation and recommendations. We decided on one of the products but had to hold off installation because we were having other work done in the backyard that could have damaged a new turf. Finally the yard was done almost a year later and we contacted Fenix. Their prices had gone up only 10 cents a square foot but they honored our original bid. Installation was scheduled a couple of weeks later. A week before the install we received an email with the site prep, warranty, care instructions, and other useful information. They offer a discount if you pay by cash or check. On installation day they arrived close to 8 a.m. and apologized for being late as it was foggy in Sacramento and dangerous driving. The crew immediately got to work, first capping off the irrigation that watered the former grass lawn and then digging out the dirt and roots. They uncovered a couple of drainage pipes that we weren't aware of and cleaned them out and reset them to be operational under the turf. They accidentally cut some irrigation pipes and quickly repaired them. Once the job was finished they cleaned up our backyard, even on the side of the yard they weren't working in. The new artificial turf looks wonderful. We highly recommend Fenix if you are considering artificial turf for your yard.

WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE - I lost around 7100$ because of bad quality turf/infill given by…read morewatersavers - 3800$ (turf cost) + 320$ (Zeofill) + 3000$ labor (my contractor) for putting turf through watersavers. I AM FILING CASE IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT. I bought the most expensive "Evernatural premium" turf from San Jose branch - around 1000 feet for my backyard. Since I am end customer, I do not know anything about infill, but I was given Zeofill 21 bags. Once my contractor put down the turf and added Zeofill, the turf became white/creamish the next day morning. So I contacted watersavers claims department and they redirected my call to the main manufacturer of turf (global sync turf). One person from global sync came to my home to evaluate and came to conclusion that turf is all good, and suggested me to wash the turf using CLR (without giving me any reason why it became white in first place). I called watersavers and they said they dont know the reason why turf became white, but asked me to follow advice given by global sync. I asked my contractor to wash it using CLR and even after washing it multiple times, the turf was still white. CLR also made the turf rough. Worst thing was CLR releases bad smell / irritation in eyes, and we had to keep our windows closed (and backyard inaccessible) for weeks. After 1 month of useless turf, I decided to replace it on my own cost. When I consulted 3 different turf companies, all suggested that Zeofill is not the right infill for residential purpose and can leave white residue. FINALLY I got my turf replaced and lost all money for 1000 feet turf and labor.

The guy was so helpful and very clear and transparent which is always appreciated. We had our landscaper put it in vs going with their crew for price purposes. You can purchase from them with or without install although their guarantee doesn't accommodate you (or very limited) without their install services. We legit went to 5-6 different turf spots for samples and this was one of the more expensive options, but it blew the competition outta the water. He gave some great advice, and, frankly, he is the main reason we went with Synlawn. Installation was quick and done efficiently. Then it all went south! Mario said that it was great for pets, citing drainage and durability. It is not good if you have a puppy, which he knew we had, as puppies love to chew on things and the turf pulls out quite easily. Too, shortly after installation, we thought we had a ripple in the turf possibly due to installation. I contacted Mario and he said he would come by and take a look. We never heard from him again. To be honest, it turned out to be nothing, but, nonetheless, he never reached out again. After a couple of months was saw some discoloration around the fountain. I contacted Billy Bright, and he said it was due to the water from the fountain. He said to try CLR cleaner, which didn't change anything, and then he said to try GooGone, which also didn't work. He said Synlawn was not going to do anything about it, since it was due to the fountain. My point is, since it seems to be a known issue, why wasn't this mentioned at the time of the sale by our salesperson, Mario, with 17 years experience! The fountain has been in place long before the turf sale took place. Seemingly it is always what the salesperson doesn't tell you that comes back to bite you. Needless to say, that in no way can I recommend Synlawn to anyone. I am giving them one star as there is no zero.

Ken Truong (owner of Skywood) and his crew were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Ken carefully listened to my objectives during an initial site visit. I didn't have a particular design in mind, but within about 10 days Ken was able to prepare a written proposal that included 2D and 3D photos of what the finished landscape renovation might look like. This was really helpful because only few iterations of discussion and revisions were needed to complete the final proposal. Demolition of the existing backyard included removal of trees, artificial turf, patio blocks, and a considerable amount of soil. This phase was completed relatively quickly and without any problems due to Skywood's obvious experience. The next phases included installation of drainage pipes and conduits for lighting and irrigation and then covering with rock base and pavers. Skywood's efforts during these phases included an uncommonly high level of attention to detail to ensure that rainwater would flow away from the house and into the storm drains. The final phases included installation of a redwood fence, installation of rock veneer and capstone to cover a retaining wall, and installation of lights, plants and irrigation to produce a really beautiful garden. Despite several hot summer days, Ken and his crew always had a friendly, positive attitude and left the worksite clean each day.
