Arrived at 11:20. Still no food at 12:15. It's not even busy here. Why one cook and one server? Where is the manager?

I've been coming to this Waffle House location regularly, but my most recent experience was really disappointing. I placed an online to-go order that was supposed to be ready at 6:17 PM. When I arrived at 6:20, my order hadn't even been started. What made it more frustrating was that the restaurant wasn't busy--there were only two other tables, and neither had received their food yet. I ended up sitting at the bar waiting until 6:55 for a simple to-go order I had planned ahead for. There was no communication during the wait, and while I did receive an apology when I was finally given my order and was asked if I wanted a drink, it felt like it came too late given how long I had already been waiting. I'm not sure if there's been a change in management, but the service here has noticeably declined. read more

We were the only people in the restaurant and were not greeted or acknowledged at all. We sat there for about 10 minutes and finally just left because they didn't take our order or say anything to us at all. We definitely will never be coming back to this location. I'm leaving a star because I'm forced to. I came in at 4:30pm and I'm a regular at this place. Emily was the server on duty and I waited 7 mins then she asked me to wait which turned out to be 15 mins and then when I tried to get even a drink from her, she turned away and ignored me completely. So if I ever come in this establishment it will not be during this servers hours. I had just got finished donating plasma to help save lives and then in turn when I'm feeling drained and having low blood sugar and in emergency need of a drink I get refused multiple times on getting any type of service. If you are wanting Waffle House from 4pm -6pm during Monday - Friday go somewhere else as you will get treated poorly as I did. Worst service I have ever had. I have never eaten out and not left a tip until today. Food was good, service was horrible

For the second time I place an order online and when I get there to check in they say it's not ready so I wait and wait and wait hoping someone calls a name or SOMETHING but then finally I check in and they're like oh it's been ready. One shouldn't set very high standards for any Waffle House. At minimum, you'll not be disappointed. At best, you won't have as much regret for the decision to eat what is perhaps some of the most unhealthiest food you can get (and that's even IF you just order a basic meal and don't add a waffle, extra browns, etc.!). This Waffle House is certainly one of the better Waffle Houses you can find, but for me, I'm not sure if that's a good thing. It's clean, friendly, fast, etc.--all of which are wonderful except for that it doesn't discourage me from visiting as often as I do, especially since it's only a VERY short walk (and an even shorter and entirely unnecessary drive) from my house. read more

Came to this Waffle House for the first time. We decided to stop here since it was on our way home and expected it to be clean since it's located in Alpharetta. But once we walked in EVERY SINGLE TABLE WAS DIRTY. The two host where just taking and laughing away. This was at 2:20 in the morning. Only one table was being used and 3 people at sitting in the bar area. So since the two host couldn't seem to do their job and have the tables cleaned we decided to leave. I've been coming here to this Waffle House ever since I moved here to the area back in 2003. The service is always excellent. This is actually my favorite Waffle House out of all their locations. I love how the staff here are always making conversation with the customers. I do find this Waffle House to be cleaner then their other locations. I live right around the corner from this Waffle House and have never had a bad experience here. The food is always cooked to perfection and I have never found anything wrong with any of the food that I have gotten from here. I have always enjoyed my fair share of a good waffle or a good order of double hash browns that are smothered with onions and cheese. The way this Waffle House makes my orders, always comes out perfectly. This Waffle House absolutely does strive to make sure all their customers are always happy and that all of their needs are met and taken care of. read more

I must say on Christmas Eve I came late at night and it was terrible. I came that day no drink refill ,overcooked has brown bowl just bad. ABSOLUTELY NO TIP WAS GIVEN. Ok...so Waffle House is notorious for serving unhealthy food! Now, that is out of the way... I have become addicted to Hash Browns scattered, smothered (onions) and double diced (two portions of tomato) with two sunny side up eggs directly on top...so when you break the yolk, it runs throughout the hash browns. I have to slow down on this particular vice...but...yummy... This particular Waffle House is close to home...so it is the "go to" one...service can be a bit spotty...but...hey...it is an "Awful Waffle"!!! :-) No, not really... read more

It's a shame when one bad apple spoils the bunch, but I will NEVER return to this Waffle House as long the nastiest waitress in the world works there!!! Everyone else in there is fine, but I am shocked that this place even passes any health inspection as long as Miss Nasty waits tables. About a year ago, my husband and I went in here one morning and this tall, larger greasy women waited on us. It wasn't until she took our order that we noticed she had a yellow tongue with food particles stuck to it. She continued to stick out her tongue and smack her lips as if she was trying to show us the nastiness that was growing on her fuzzy yellow tongue. We quickly lost our appetites and left. The next few times we managed to avoid Miss Yellow Tongue and had a decent experience. Then, again this morning we went in there and sat down and a lady came to take our order. We saw Miss Yellow Tongue was working but fortunately not our table. But, low and behold...all of a sudden we look up and they've switched!!! This time her tongue wasn't yellow but she came up to us with her black encrusted dirty fingernails, greasy hair and proceeded to scratch her nicotine patch/band-aid or whatever it was on her arm while she asked to take our order. SERIOUSLY????? You're going to scratch your nasty, funky, scab under your band-aid patch and then touch our food?!?!?! I think not. We promptly got up and left. I will NEVER, EVER, EVER return to this Waffle House until this woman is removed from the premises! I can't believe people even act this way, especially in food services and can remain employed? My dad and I used to be regulars at this location of Waffle House (much to the detriment of our cholesterol). The whole staff knew us by name and our orders. We'd sit down and our drinks would already be on their way to us. The food is not high brow, but it was always tasty. I'm by no means a health food nut, so an overly buttered biscuit, scrambled eggs, and hash browns make my soul very happy. Maybe it's because this location is in a nicer area, it's always clean. Half the time when we would go in, someone would be mopping. The tables were always wiped off and the silverware didn't have so much as a spot. I've only really had one bad experience here and it was later at night. The waitress was consistently ignoring my friend and me. It took twice as long as it should have to get our food. Eventually she did get her act together and serve us properly, but it was a bit annoying at the time. Plus, I don't think I have it in me to give Waffle House 5 stars. read more

This was one of the worst waffle houses experiences ever! Day after Christmas, not many people in there. We order and wait, our food comes,in stages...the bacon is way over cooked, like when you bite into it falls apart! Not edible! They used 3 eggs in my chz and eggs which drastically cut the cheese down(which is why I ordered them) my partners waffle was so burnt she couldn't cut it, and last but least, I had to ask for a refill of tea and my partner never got a second cup Of coffee!! I'm reading all the previews reviews and I sure as heck didn't receive the same customer service. As soon as we came in the place it was a mess. There was only one customer. Upon receiving our drinks. My boyfriend ordered a cup of coffee. She gave him a cup that lipstick stains. The waitress with short hair kept talking about how they don't get enough hours just complaining about her job. In my mind, I just thought maybe if you actually worked and did something other than just sitting on your phone and do nothing just maybe they'll see how hard you work and give you more hours. But, never again am I going to this waffle house. I've 2 bad encounters with the same cook and waiter. Save your self from going here. read more

This is the best Waffle House. It's always clean, the staff is friendly and with very low turnover. John runs a great place. My daughter and I have gone there for breakfast ever since the place opened when she was 5 years old. She's 21 now. Avoid. I went there a few weeks ago, found a (human) hair in my (wrongly prepared) hash browns. I told the waiter, who then tried to slide the omelette OFF the plate and serve it to me while the hash browns were remade. What? No mention was made of comping the meal (so am I to guess this is normal? the cook was wearing a hat, not a hair net). I paid my check, no apology or acknowledgement.
