ok so I've been to A LOT of airports and even when we are talking about the "nice ones", even ones that are spinoffs of restaurants in the city of their airport....they are ok, predictable, you fill in the blank but not the best or worst experience you've ever had. when my flight got delayed not one but THREE times, which left me with my new puppy in a carrying case and me, just winging it, I though this place would just be another meh airport restaurant. minus 20 points from Gryffindor for not being past the security checkpoint...why?! I dunno does anyone ever go to those restaurants? well I might think about those restaurants differently now. I found a little spot off to the side that was just SO quaint and cozy, with comfy chairs, and a tv over the fireplace...I asked to make sure I could bring the puppy/carrying case situation in and they were just so nice. the wine was good and my chicken/ancient grains bowl was great, with some fun crunchies thrown in there for texture. would definitely come back with or without a puppy next time ha! read more

This was a little execution away from a 4 star. Decent restaurant style place at Huntsville airport, just wish it was inside the TSA area. Went with the pulled pork cuban. The flavors were real good. Smoked pulled pork and smoked ham really added to the flavor profile. The mix of swiss and white cheddar was perfect and I really enjoyed the creole mustard. The menu said grilled french roll and it was anything but. A little crispiness to the sandwich would have been great. The fries were hot which was great but they were taken out the fryer way too early, no crisp on the outside with soft consistency. The server was great and real nice. Good overall airport restaurant that would take a big jump with minor execution details. read more

Not many options and should have known it wasn't going to be good when i walked in a there were only 3 people in there. Waited to be seated like the sign at the hostess station said. No one acknowledged i was there. Was finally told to sit where i wanted by the bartender. Ordered the steak frites with fries. It came in a bowl, everything just piled on top of each other. Steak and fries weren't even warm. The sauce was not good. No where else to go in the area but I'd find somewhere else or just don't eat. read more

There is nothing worse than standing next to a "Wait To Be Seated" sign and waiting for an employee to acknowledge you whist other customers are staring because you've been standing there by yourself for what seems like an eternity. Was finally seated a corner booth by an employee who seemed less than thrilled to be there. She asked if I wanted to start with a drink to which I replied yes. Placed my order drink and she then disappeared. 15 minutes later, no drink no nothing. I did see her emptying coins into a register. Heard her interacting with customers sitting at the bar. Got up and left. I walk past this place every time I'm at this airport. I always thought it would be a nice place to have a drink and something to eat if I had the time. Today I had the time, but it was not to be. Next time, I think I'll grab a drink and something to eat BEFORE I get to the airport. A really sad experience. read more

Consistent and good food and decent service in an airport hotel. Seriously! The first night I had the buffalo chicken salad - lots of crisp greens, and accompanied by lots of spicy chicken tender bits drenched in buffalo wing sauce. The second night, I had the Marsala burger and onion rings. Crazy good flavors, and the wine sauce was insane. I forgot I was in an airport hotel! Gourmet burger at its very best. The third night I had the filet. Not as tender as I had hoped, but still so good. Desserts weren't disappointing, either. White chocolate macadamia nut cheesecake (worth the extra thirty minutes on the treadmill). The key lime pie was tart and refreshing, and it's smooth texture was heavenly! So, don't shy away from this local Huntsville eatery. It's a nice surprise for the weary traveler. read more

My sorority sister, my best friend and honorary sorority sister had a great visit at The Grille this week before sister departed HSV for Texas. She'd been in town all weekend and was tied up with family celebrations, not allowing any "girl time," and TG fit the bill exceedingly well! We enjoyed their shareable hummus with cucumbers, celery and pita bread (it was garlicy which was a nice switch from the less flavorful variant that other places serve). We also shared the pretzel Charcuterie plate which was unique and delish! It had a giant pretzel that "framed" the plate with various meats, cheeses, olives etc., placed in the "grooves" of the pretzel with delicious spicy mustard to tear the large pretzel apart and dip in the wonderful mustard. We enjoyed their Seaglass Unoaked chardonnay - a nice cool wine for a hot summer day! The noise level was almost "quiet" making it easy to converse and catch up with each other. The servers were nice, too! The reason for no 5th star is I had to go back and forth to the bar quite a bit to ask for additional things for our table. We parked in hourly parking. If you just go to the Grill, the don't validate hourly parking parking - all you have to do is park in the 'hotel' parking lot which, we were told, is free to use. Thanks, The Grill for making a memorable 2+ hour visit for the three of us, we will do this again in the future as she comes to town every couple of months. read more

Staying at Four Points by Sheraton because it's in the Huntsville airport. Went to the Grill/Bar for dinner because I didn't have transportation. If you travel like me, you don't expect much of the hotel restaurant. Wow was I wrong! The pork chop was absolutely the best I have ever eaten. The garlic mashed potatoes were perfect and even the broccoli was a surprise. I'm used to the larger pieces of broccoli and these appear to be more of the smaller stalks, which made for a nice crunchy goodness! The guy next to me at the bar, ordered a hamburger which the server described as just a burger. However, he said it was really good! Based on this one time experience, I would highly recommend this restaurant, at least if you're staying at the Four Points by Sheraton. read more

The Struggle Bus is working hard here. Credit card machine is down and according to staff has been most of the week. Options are Cold hard ca$h, the ATM down stairs, the bartender's cash app/venmo or they will hand write you credit card AND keep the info until they can run it when the system comes back up No simple syrup. These two, Glen and Don, were working this evening and both gave us exemplary service - Don was our server but Glen went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed! Upon hotel check-in, the agent recommended the on-site restaurant. I was tired and hungry so decided to give it a try. I ordered the Soup and Grilled Cheese to-go to bring back to my room. Unfortunately, I wasn't provided with a spoon or napkins; the soup (chili) was not even lukewarm, and the grilled cheese was burnt. Very disappointing after an exhausting day. If you're like me living somewhere other than Alabama & need a good food fix, look no further!!! I live in California and am spoiled with all the variety and tastiness in LA. Anyways, my cousins stayed at this hotel, and this restaurant is literally in the airport as the hotel is (four points by sheraton). We got 50% off meals, which totally made it worth it! Otherwise it's definitely pricey, more so for dinner which we enjoyed. It was completely empty on a Friday night, but that didn't bother me, it's at an airport that is never busy and Alabama (no offense) is pretty dead in itself, besides maybe Huntsville which can get busy but not compared to LA. Anyways we came twice. *** Once on Christmas Morning for the breakfast buffet (4 stars): - Made to order Omelettes and Eggs - Bagels/Toast - Cinnamon Rolls (which ran out) - Oatmeal/Grits with condiments (cranberries, walnuts, brown sugar etc) - Bacon/Sausage - Biscuits & Gravy - Scrambled Eggs/Frittata - Belgian Waffle Maker - Yogurt/Cereal Breakfast wasn't bad considering all other places are either busy or extremely crappy. Wish they had pancakes and better coffee, my cousins said it was OK. Service was good, we even tipped the guy making our eggs. There were only two other families there while we were eating. It wasn't busy at all! Which is good in a way, I don't think many people living there think to go to an airport to eat haha. Go to waffle king and Denny's and you'll be waiting for an hour. *** And once for dinner I came with my cousins which was good considering it's Alabama (5 stars): Mushroom & Brie Soup (5 stars): Thick soup, but it is sooo tasty. My cousin got this like 3 times! Grilled Chicken Quesadilla (5 stars): My cousin got this and liked it alot, not just chicken and cheese, had grilled peppers in it which made it better. Grilled Salmon (4.5 stars): This was really good, only reason for deduction is the herbed butter was way OVER herbed, could have used more butter and less herbs, or maybe garlic, also slightly overcooked fish, but still great! Char-Grilled Chicken Breast (4.5 stars): Really good tender Chicken Breast, substituted the rice for the fingerling potatoes! White Chocolate & Macadamia Cheesecake (5 stars): This was awesome, also with a drizzle of raspberry, probably one of the top 5 cheesecakes I've had and that's saying something. Proper density and awesome flavor. Chocolate Cake (5 stars): Also got some chocolate cake that wasn't on the menu, my cousins loved it, we devoured the desserts. There were two waitresses this time. They kind of kept messing up the bill, I gave them the card we needed for 50% off, and some other waitress rang it up wrong. Why would you give it to someone else, we went back and forth like 3 times. And they didn't ask us for dessert before the bill. I hate when places do that, just assume we're done eating. Sometimes I want dessert! Anyways I'm not going to make a big deal and still give them 5 stars because the food was decent. read more

Ate here while staying at the adjacent Four Points hotel. Staff was very polite and attentive. Food was pretty good overall--better than I had anticipated given its location. They have a nice bar top with TVs for those that just want to relax and have a drink. I'd recommend the Buffalo Chicken Salad. read more

I believe this is the one which has an access point from inside the Huntsville Airport. Great place to relax and kill some time before heading over to the security gate. The food quality and presentation is way above average for an airport restaurant. I always have many hours to wait when I travel after work on Fridays and this place is great to do just that and get a decent bite to eat. read more

There isn't much food options in the Huntsville Airport. At least here they have seats and tabes where you can eat. The food was decent they had a really good grill cheese but I also had a potato soup which was not that good. The customer service was great though. A good restaurant in the Four Points Sheraton at the Huntsville Airport. The meals are good. The waitress can be a bit overwhelmed by large groups, but the food is good. Ninety-four professionals attended a three day meeting at the hotel, and enough of us ate dinner in the Bayou Grille to keep the staff hopping. I had a beef tenderloin steak, my four friends had a pizza, a roasted chicken, a pasta dish, and a good old hamburger. I recommend the restaurant if your flight arrives late at night and you want a meal before hitting the road. read more

For a restaurant located inside a small airport it definitely does the job. It's very consistent with the food and the waiters are always very nice. Burgers are DELICIOUS and I do dare to say one of the best I've had? YES .. def makes my top 5 list. I know it sounds wierd as it is coming from a small restaurant in an airport but TRUST me the burgers are THAT good! I've also had the hummus/veggies/pita bread which was great too! Chicken sandwich was up to par to .... as you all can see I frequent HSV airport a lot .. I have no complaints what so ever with this restaurant.. Hopefully nothing changes and they keep up with the consistency cause I would hate to have to start eating at McAlister's.. which is a whole another story! read more

The mac & chz was delicious but not enough of it, mashed potatoes had way to much garlic in them and couldn't hardly eat them, chicken was really good and was the roll. My family was flying back to Europe on Friday (10-12-18), and we had a little time to spend together before they went through security. So we decided to stop at The Grille (inside the airport), so they could get some hot tea & an OJ. We sat at the tables "outside", and Ms. Mary D. is who waited on us. She was very-very attentive and nice -even though we didn't order any food. She brought out the tea box to let my Aunt choose which one she wanted, which was very nice. My Aunt has MS & had her walker with her, but this saved her having to walk unnecessarily. Ms. Mary came by several times to check on us. We were spending more "time" talking rather than money, but Ms. Mary still went above & beyond in my opinion. If I could have afforded it, I would've tipped her even more just for her kind heart & service. I hope her managers appreciate her, as much as we did. She deserves a BIG KUDOS! This restaurant is locate right next to the Four Points Sheraton and the only choice to eat if your flight is delayed or cancelled. The service was friendly, however, the food took forever to come out. At least the server was apologetic. I liked this restaurant so much that I went there twice when I was in Huntsville . Loved the Pimms #1 in the Peter Rabbit drink. Had the duck trio, tuna appetizer, and loved the Chicken Waffles . You HAVE to order the corn as a side dish -- I could eat the whole bowl of that as my entree. Everyone in our group raved about the food. Highly recommended! read more
