    Spiced chai latte

When I'm in COMO I enjoy frequenting different shops. I've had my fair share of different drinks here and have a good comparison to the same drink styles with other shops. This shop has three stand outs to me. If you're Just a simple coffee drinker - try the Madagascar vanilla nut. If you like (hot) chai lattes they have my favorite out there so far! I tried a frozen lemonade recently and it's so yummy and refreshing during the summer. One location is open until late evening which I think is awesome. I find myself wanting a late coffee now and again but most importantly I respect later hours because it gives students a place to go outside of their home to get a drink and work done in a comfortable environment.

I freaking love this place! Everyone is always so nice and they're always patient while I try to decide what to order. Ordered: Cheddar & Bacon Scone Cold Brew (black) Iced Latte That scone was amazing!! It was so moist. I don't know if they make it in house or bring in the food from elsewhere but it was yummy. I really like that the iced drinks come with ice pebbles! There's so much seating inside. The location off of Forum has a drive thru which is so helpful.

The holiday drinks we ordered were delicious!! We got the hocus Pocus latte and the peppermint white mocha. The baristas were very kind and answered every question we had about the different drinks! We were visiting from out of town and found this little coffee house! It was delicious and I highly recommend it. We actually went here all three days while we were visiting Columbia.

Another one of my favorite coffee shops in Como! I've made many trips to this coffee shop just to buy bags of beans to brew at home (one of the cheaper options in Columbia, yet still quality beans). One of my favorites is the Madagascar Vanilla Nut (whole bean, of course). The staff at the south location is always so helpful and friendly. The inside is super cozy and there's a few different rooms to find a place to study or work. One of my favorite treats that they offer is an affogato served with local Sparky's ice cream! As always, shop local :) P.S. apparently there's a new location on Rangeline featuring a drive-thru for people on the go!

quality: 5 stars staff: 4 stars atmosphere: 4 stars Some great things about this place: they have light, medium, and dark roasts. They have 5-6 different sugar free syrup options. After I ordered, I realized I forgot to change my milk option and one of the baristas changed my milk option free of charge. The coffee shop is busy for sure. Which shows that they're really good but also means service can be a tad slow. I did go on a Saturday morning so that definitely had something to do with it. There are scones, burritos, bagels, protein bites, anything you want! If you're wanting to try a coffee place in CoMo, I highly recommend stopping by for a quick breakfast and a cup of coffee.

Great atmosphere, plenty of seating, and wonderful staff

After a year of meaning to try this place, I have now visited The Grind more times than I care to count this summer. The coffee is excellent, as are several of their specialty drinks. Typically, I drink black coffee, but I was talked into trying their "adult chocolate milk" the last time I stopped in, and boy am I glad I was. This surprisingly delicious drink is a cold brew coffee with milk and both dark and white chocolate added in. They've managed to balance just the right level of sweetness without overpowering the flavor of the cold brew. Additionally, every member of staff I've met has been extremely friendly and inviting, as is the owner who can often be found helping out behind the bar. The atmosphere is not as cozy as some of Columbia's downtown options (e.g. Lakota or Coffee Zone), but is still very comfortable, with plenty of seating and outlets, a nice fireplace, and great outdoor deck. The only complaint I might raise is that the music is sometimes a bit loud for studying or even carrying on a conversation. That being said, I do love their song selection. All in all, if you haven't been to the Grind yet, get yourself down to the south side of town. I promise, it'll be worth the trip.

Hands down the best coffee shop in CoMo. You're missing it if you haven't been here! My favorite item on the menu is the Vanilla Chai Grinder. The owner is super friendly too. Amazing place to study, read a book, or meet someone. They even have a little conference room you can use. And an outdoor patio! Location on south side of town is awesome, across from Cirporate

The coffee here is so fresh and smooth! It gives my belly that warm feeling. Drinking their coffee is my favorite part of the day.

Decent overpriced coffee, friendly employees, fast wifi, corny vibes. Great for a shameless 4hrs of laptop squatting.

They offered plenty of savory goods as well including bagels. Service was friendly but they did forget my friend's order for a while, when all he ordered was a black coffee. So we had to remind them twice. They have a drive thru which is also convenient. Otherwise plenty of parking in a huge lot. The coffee is good. I got the adult chocolate that was served iced. Too sweet for me but most of their drinks are on the sweeter end. Inside is cozy and has a nice warm setup. Lots of seating.

A few seasonal specials were offered (looked yummy). The drive through attendant wasn't the friendliest person I've encountered - no major issues, but was just straight to the point. The wait between ordering the smoothie and receiving it was a few minutes longer than other drive through coffee shops, but I wasn't in a hurry. Smoothie was pretty good - creamier than comparable coffee shops in KC area. I was a little bummed that they charged 50 cents for water when it was an add-on to a purchase. I know it's just 50 cents, but I wish they would tell you before charging you so it isn't a surprise on your receipt. I'll probably stop here again and try one of their espresso drinks. Looks like a fun spot.
