Grizzly Rose is a fun filled, entertaining Country Bar with live music. 4-5 bars spread around. Friendly, fast bar service. Booze is marked up though. Food menu is lacking with only pizza and chicken tenders. Beer galore. There was plenty of security to deal with a customer who had medical emergency (BRAVO--Well done. ...and for keeping any unruly drunks in check. Yeah. My main gripe: Doors at 6pm. Music at 8pm. Well, the music started at 7:30pm and the headliner did not show until 9:15 or 9:30pm. Standing Room only unless you knew to get there at 6:00pm and eat off limited menu and drink more. -- It was a late night at the Grizzly Rose.

Every time I go to the Grizzly Rose it's a great time I've had the food which is basic bar food. It's still delicious. The bar is so big that they have so many bartenders behind the bar so service is definitely great. Never a complaint there bathrooms are fully stocked and cleaned, which is a big plus for me I love that there is so many staff members out there helping each other out on the floor to clear tables and make sure everybody is comfortable.... i've seen a lot of concerts at the Grizzly Rose. I have always had a great great time definitely five stars. Thanks For The Read Until Next Time....

amazing vibes here! i came with friends for a country line dancing lesson, and although very crowded, it was a really fun experience. there's a mechanical bull for you crazies out there, as well as food, drinks, and pool.

This place is a good damn time! Went for ladies night for the first time ever recently. The free drinks are good and small but we're easy to get a refill. They didn't have a free beer that night which was a bummer. Female bartenders were bitchy but probably because most girls don't tip on free nights which is a sin, tip on your free drinks ladies! The music was excellent and the dancing was fun! Don't know a line dance? Just stand near the best person on the floor and copy their moves. We paid $5 to ride the bull but it went so slow that you either fall off immediately when it turns to the side at slow motion, like me, or you stay on for a while, like my husband, but it's more of a sexy bull ride which is a little awkward lol. Can't wait to go back for dancing fun!

A great venue to see some of country's great acts both established and up and coming. While seating is a bit limited, there isn't a bad view in the house. They feature a large dance floor, multiple bars, and even some food (which we did not try on our visit) The service was wonderful and the bartenders were slinging out drink's quickly to help keep lines of people from piling up. Also if you open a tab you can get drinks at any of the bars in the building which is convenient, and there is no price gouging here drinks are very reasonable. The sound for both the opening band and main act were great as well. Loud but not so loud you couldn't communicate. Overall, I can't wait until the next act I want to see comes to Grizzly Rose! Overall I can't

So, this place is a whole bunch of nostalgic for me! I loved visiting this time! It has been a decade since I last was in The Rose and now I'm thinking I need to make this a weekly occurrence. I also think Wednesdays are my vibe. It's a free entry and you get a free two-step lesson in the middle of the floor or you can opt to go to the back studio and pay $5 for an hour long lesson in which we learned the cowboy Cha Cha. I think $5 for a full hour was a great deal. If you don't want to pay, you still have a free two-step lesson in the middle! The Grizzly Rose has many bar areas to grab drinks and also offers food like pizza! There are two bulls to ride if you wish, billiards, arcade games, etc.! So, it's a great entertainment spot! Ladies, if you're looking for FREE drinks, go on a Thursday when ladies drink for free. I haven't been back on a Thurs, so I'll have to report back when I do. But, I was loving the low key vibes of a Wednesday and the dancing! I'll be back most definitely! Plus, the live music is awesome!

What time do Friday night concerts typically end?

That depends on the band playing. I would say typically around midnight, but again, depends on the band. Some might stop at 11pm, some might play till 1am. Depends on the band, depends on the crowd. You are always welcome to come or leave whenever… Read more

How do concerts work? Do you just post up by the stage?

Yes. The venue is one level. General admission. Stand or dance in Front of stage. Seating available throughout, tables with waitresses. However, a band that has a big draw will pack the GR. Go early. Claim your spot.

Is this a cool place for the over-60 dance crowd?

Phil, Prior to the live music taking center stage, I saw the floor full with line dancers of all ages. My observation was that the Type of live music being performed seemed to influence the age of the 'free style' dancers. Go, enjoy. You'll be glad… Read more

How is it on Sunday night?

Sunday nights are all ages. It can get packed with a lot of high school kids because that's the night most of them can go. I wouldn't recommend going in the summer because that's when Sunday's nights are packed with all ages.

I went on a Friday night with my mom I'd just gotten my hair done and wanted to do something fun, a little fancy, and different from the usual dinner spot. It absolutely delivered. First: parking in RiNo is rough. Plan ahead. My reservation was at 8:30 PM and I arrived almost 45 minutes early just looping the area. Eventually found street parking but give yourself time so you're not stressed walking in. The exterior is beautiful mural artwork, elegant entrance, very polished. Once inside, you're greeted, there's coat check and the entire space feels intimate and elevated without being stuffy. It's romantic but not pretentious. I'd go here for a date, a birthday, or just to treat someone special. We did the three-course prix fixe experience (around $150 per person, 25% gratuity included -- that's required for reservations). It felt worth it for the full experience. Food highlights: * I tried the steak tartare for the first time. raw beef and egg, served in a crispy potato nest. Very outside my comfort zone, but beautifully presented and well executed. * My mom had the grilled octopus and loved it. * For entrées, I ordered the Branzino (10/10) and she had the duck she raved about it. * The risotto was slightly underdone but not enough to ruin the dish. * Dessert was a passionfruit tarte. very tart and tangy (true to its name!). * For my birthday, they surprised us with a vanilla dessert that was honestly incredible. Also worth mentioning: their non-alcoholic options are phenomenal. I had the "Kitten Heels" mocktail (10/10), and their non-alcoholic rosé genuinely tasted like the real thing. As someone who appreciates thoughtful zero-proof options, this stood out. The live music was the star of the night. The performers were incredibly talented! the vocals, the breath control, the instrumentation! it felt immersive. The only thing I'll say is the crowd was a little low-energy. My mom and I were the only ones really moving in our seats, tapping along, enjoying it visibly. I wanted more people to feel it! Overall, this is a beautiful spot for live jazz, elevated dining, and a romantic or celebratory night out. If you love cultural, artsy experiences and live music, this is absolutely worth it. I'll definitely be back.

We started with what might be one of the best bruschetta apps: grilled, charred bread topped with blistered heirloom tomatoes (those vibrant yellow and red ones!), creamy burrata (or whipped ricotta-like cheese), fresh basil, and a gorgeous balsamic drizzle. The contrast of the smoky, crispy bread with the juicy, roasted tomatoes and that rich, peppery cheese was so fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend sharing this one! Frankie's cocktails were spot-on too. We went for the perfect pink marg with Tajín rims refreshing, citrusy (heavy on the lime), with just the right kick of spice from the rim. They were dangerously drinkable and paired beautifully with everything. If you're in Denver craving a mix of elevated American small plates, killer cocktails, and top-notch sandwiches in a cool setting, this place is a must-try.

It was a show with seats. Our tickets were in zone A where we were able to sit pretty much right in front of the stage/band. Wow! The staff upfront who scanned our tickets were welcoming and one of them took us to our section. She also showed us where the main bar and the restrooms etc. were m. Very organized and courteous system to say the least. The bar area was also organized, very clean and quite spacious. The lady who assisted us (for a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon; it was a very decent Cab!!) had a warm smile. She welcomed us. Very polite indeed. The show started right on time at 8pm. The 5 talented musicians entertained us occasionally incorporating talks with funny elements. They also encouraged us to be part of the songs; we thus sang along with them. The kind of crowd we had was my age range (mostly in their early to late 50's or a bit older in their 60's. My 25-yr old daughter was definitely one of the youngest people in the audience. Everyone was courteous to others; very laid back atmosphere indeed.) The show was only 1 hour with no encore (so you'll be out the door by 9:10pm unless you linger.) That was the only bummer thing about it but other than that, it was a night of magical vibes where we felt like slipping into the old jazz era of 1920's. It's funny. After living in the greater Denver area for 28 years, it was my very first visit to this venue. Despite the very low ratings of only 2.5 stars as of late January 2026, my first impression for this one of the iconic places is near 5-star rating. Leave people with their personal meds alone and don't touch private parts. This is one spot where they are taking their positions WAY too far and beyond and it ain't that serious.
