Sweet potato fries

Sandwiches were awesome but friends and other bites a little underwhelming. Happy hour was a great deal tho and cocktails were really enjoyable. It gets busy during sporting event so make sure to grab a table!

Came back to try the Chicken Caesar sandwich and this place is still my favorite spot in town. The Caesar Sando had the most perfect breaded chicken cutlet, it had phenomenal crunch but was still juicy and the crumb was well seasoned. For the sandwich as a whole, I would recommend taking the tomato's out (surprising for me because I'm a huge tomato fan) but they were a bit too acidic as they use a cooked and then maybe cooled cherry type of tomato? Not sure but next time I'd take those out. I personally would maybe swap the tomato's out for a squeeze of fresh lemon juice in the Caesar but regardless still a hit and I will forever have this on my list of must visits to friend and family coming to town.

Excellent service, excellent drink! I stopped in on a rough day and this was the cure.

I had the Pesto Cutlet sandwich and was a fresh fried piece of chicken pipping hot and next level crunch! I was shocked how big the sandwich was could easily feed two for lunch. You order at the counter and they bring your food so pretty efficient service. I used to live close and loved going for lunch or dinner nice small bar area

Classic burg with cheese, small side of fries, glass of Pinot Grigio & Pilsner.

Carroll Gardens Deli Sandwich

Such a great restaurant. I have dreams about their mozzarella. The sandwiches are massive and made with so much love. Drinks are fantastic, and the happy hour is great. They have an interesting take on their French fries, personally they aren't for me, but I think they're unique and a hefty portion. Service there is efficiently streamlined by ordering at the counter and grabbing your seat wherever. If you haven't been yet, go soon!!

Crispy chicken Caesar sandwich

We just went here the other day and wow can they make a sandwich! I ordered the crispy chicken Caesar sandwich and it was amazing. The bread was delicious, crunchy, yet fluffy enough to bite through! The chicken cutlet was cooked perfect and the shredded lettuce and tomato were dressed perfectly in Caesar dressing! We also got the Caprese sandwich and added prosciutto. It definitely beat out the Caesar sandwich! It also had great bread and the perfect amount of meat cheese and tomato! I got a spicy Bloody Mary and it was one the best ones I have had in a while! Nice pickle taste with horseradish! We sat outside on the porch. It's a little confusing at first, there's no waitstaff so you have to go inside and order but they will bring it to your seat! Will definitely be back!

Hell's Kitchen

As a sandwich lover, this place has an earned spot in my rotation. You have a long list of options to choose from that is already guaranteed to lineup with what you're in the mood for. I'm a fan of their Hells Kitchen above all and this place does not skimp on the meat. Always loaded. You order from the cashier at the bar and they bring the food out to you. Service is prompt and friendly. Great selection of beers too!

I was delightfully surprised when I…read morehad walked in early to wait for a friend was greeted by the girl running the clothing swap. Feels like this spot may always have something jiving! My friend and I arrived with laptops and left them closed. The whole place has an Elle Woods sleepover energy: pink-adjacent, unapologetically cozy, a little magical. We enjoyed our treats, caught up and people watched. And yes these are treats. There may be alcohol at other times; we were just there for coffee and tea, and the specials leaned floral. I had something built around orange blossom that drifted between citrus and honeysuckle, delicate enough to feel like a mood rather than a flavor. Lovely, if not exactly life-changing. But that's the point: Hello Darling pulls you in with its aesthetic and keeps you with its comfy, cozy seats. Definitely equally suited to a solo work session or a two-hour gossip spiral that was supposed to be a work session! Come for the drinks, stay because you forgot you had somewhere else to be.

(We sipped on the cherry vanilla iced latte - which left me wishing there was more flavor, and the strawberry mocha cold brew - which was rich but so sour) I'd give this spot another chance and try some other things on the ever-changing menu :)

I remember when Bookbar occupied this space many moons ago. I used to like that place a lot. Well, I'm also beginning to like the new life My Boy Tony has brought here. It caters to a younger crowd, whether you're bar hopping on Tennyson with a group or looking for a spot to take a hot date. For better and worse, it's a neighborhood bar at its core. The most shocking thing is how they transformed the space from the previous tenants. It has a beautiful open layout with nice furniture and design. The bartenders are generally friendly and prices are in line with similar cocktail bars in Denver. The few times I've been here I've been in a cocktail mood. Negronis and Old Fashioneds are made well and are slow sippers I enjoy. They do have a nice selection of wines that I'll have to try when it tickles my fancy. The only hiccups here for me are some really long wait times for drinks. They usually have two bartenders and sometimes it gets really backed up. No one is running the floor when I've been there bussing and wiping down tables. Though I understand with a location here it can go from being empty to completely slammed in a matter of minutes! If you're looking for a cool, comfortable bar without the pretentiousness or judgment, check out My Boy Tony.

While we ended up getting different drinks, I have no doubt the espresso martini is yummy. My husband went for the Old Fashioned and I opted for As the Crow Flies - both were very tasty. Not cheap though - about $14 a pop. They had a wide beer selection and a few NA options, which I'm looking forward to trying as they sounded good. The bartender was friendly and skilled. We ended up sitting inside because it was a bit too hot for us, but others were on the patio and it did have ample seating and shade; will likely be lovely in a few weeks. The decor inside was clean with comfortable seating and a variety of bar seats and low tables. They also had virtual golf - an interesting mix. My one complaint is the amount of televisions. It had the amount I'd expect at a sports bar but way above sports bar prices. They could get away with removing 1-2 and still catering to the same crowd while appealing to those (like me) who don't want to have to sit in a corner and strategically place the chairs just to not have to look at a screen.
