I took a seat at the bar and perused the menu, and eventually I opted for the 7 oz. Dodger Burger ("Served with fries"). It arrived a little while later and it's fine. It's exactly what you'd expect from an old-school joint like this: overcooked and loaded with unnecessary spices. But with the tasty, hot fries and fresh condiments, I actually wound up enjoying it a fair deal. It went really well with my beer, too. The Mac and cheese was very cream and soft which makes it so homey. Wings we cooked well, regular sized with a nice crispiness on the outside. The sweet and spicy sauce was great and well balanced. Spaghetti and meatballs were cooked well. The meatballs were very meaty, large and super tender - fall apart tender. The mushroom flatbread came out nice and hot, great flavor. Price: It is on the more expensive end at 20$ a dish but the amount of food is a lot which makes up for it.

I understand things happen, but canceling right before a major event -- one people plan and buy tickets for well in advance -- is really disappointing and unfair. Now our entire group is stuck without plans since most other Halloween events are sold out or too expensive last-minute. We chose Belfast Love because it seemed organized and fun, but this whole situation feels really poorly handled. If you're going to sell tickets for an event, you should honor them -- not cancel on people days before. Definitely left a bad taste and made us hesitant to book anything here again
