    Here to see the show.

So happy I found this sketch comedy venue in LA. Get the VIP experience for a few dollars more to get the choice of seats before the door opens. The comedy group was fantastic. Check out this history of the organization to see how many comedians you know have come through here. We were from out of town and a surprise for my wife. She loved it and we have a new place to visit the next time we visit LA. Well worth the $$ and the time. Highly recommend!!

The theater is a nice place to come watch comedy with friends. The show had its opening night when we went which was quite apparent. The improvisational work was the highlight, and we were hoping for more improv rather than sketches (which ended up being the majority), but we did not realize what we signed up for apparently. Still a great experience to have with friends. Made me feel like I was truly in LA.

Such an amazing LA activity! We went and saw the Wednesday "crazy Joe show" and it was so unique and fun. Incredibly high energy improv that is non stop! I've never seen anything like it. If you're visiting town or are a local, stopping by groundlings to see a show is a LA bucket list item! Such a rich history of talent with amazing shows. You gotta go!

I live right around the corner from The Groundlings and it took some time for me to go there. I did move around COVID time so there was that but after they reopened it took an out of town visitor to get me to buy tickets for their Friday night show. I thought the Groundlings show would be an improv show, figuring their notoriety for it. However, it was a scripted show and for a moment I was disappointed, but only for a moment. The sketches were varied and all funny and the cast were all great. There was one sketch in particular though, it was a like a mini one man show which was as memorable as it was hilarious. I don't want to spoil it in case they decide to run the show again but rest assured it will leave an impression.

Jumping off from an online Groundlings event, I can't wait for this improv comedy to adapt to the pandemic world. This landmark destination has been delivering improv for decades, and have coloured up my many late night here for comedy show with friends. This legendary club has launched many comedians like Conan and Lisa Kudrow, and its longlasting curriculum seems to draw a certain traditional type of humour. Compared to other comedy clubs, the crew here here seem a few steps away from a more diverse cast that represent all slices of LA. The convenient location among shopping and dining make for the perfect evening activity with friends, and even as a tailgate kickoff before a night out on Melrose. Be sure to get there early to wait for great seat with friends!

Always a blast and never the same. It's great to watch future and current stars of film and television live.

I love this studio. I've taken the 1-day commercial workshop with Annie and the Advanced Intensive…read morewith Diane, and both have been incredible! The training and acting methods, the teachers, and the students all challenged me to grow as an actor in a safe and supportive environment. I highly recommend both Annie and Diane and their classes. Commercial Workshop with Annie: Even though the workshop is one day, Annie fills the day with such great advice and on-your-feet work. She gives great general audition tips and specific feedback to each person to help you grow. She helps to demystify the types of commercial auditions so you can focus less on "did I do it right" and more on having fun with the audition (which is why we do it!). Advanced Intensive with Diane: Diane is a gem. In a month, she was able to pull out such emotional depth in my performances. She is kind and nurturing in a way that is constructive without being judgmental or mean. You can tell Diane is a teacher for all the right reasons and really believes in all her students. Every student gets different notes and redirects, which also exposes the entire class to so many different tools to use when auditioning or preparing a scene at home. The students in the class also brought such a warmth and generosity to the class, which I think speaks volumes to the types of students that the studio attracts. After this class, I have a clear method for preparing for an audition and feel more confident in myself as an actor!

Before his class, it would take me an hour or 2 (yikes!!) to record a self-tape. After studying with Will, I can do it in a take or 2. Because in Will's class you only get one or 2 takes, this trains you to make bold choices from the jump. Will has truly helped me to live the life of the character in a truthful and honest way. I looked at my self-tapes from before I started versus now, and it's day and night. I also have a much easier time just being and trusting because I've lived the life of the character, and I know that the emotional core will show up. I love the material he chooses every week. It's always a scene I would never pick for myself that truly challenges me. Being in his class and going up every week has given me such confidence, conquering roles I would have never thought I could. The takes are all recorded, I get to watch my work and see where I'm growing with my own eyes! I know sometimes actors have trouble taking in compliments, but it's another thing to see your work. Will truly cares for his students and handles every student individually!!
