I provided pictures but they wanted to come out first to give a quote. As you can see from the before photos our yard just needed to be trimmed and cut, nothing major at all. The gentleman arrived on time. I was quoted $75 for the front and back yard. It was additional $25 for some weed killer. I agreed to the $100, totally my fault for agreeing to that crazy price. This review is for the level of responsiveness and prompt/accurate service. I did not realize finding a dependable lawn maintenance service was going to be so hard but it took over 2 months to find someone who not only responded, but also delivered on their word. I used Yelp to send out communication and was promptly replied to with a time/date that they would come to quote the lawn. I wasn't available to be there but I told them if they are able to, please drive by on their own time that day so we can quickly move forward if it worked out for both of us. They did as the said they would, drove by and was quick to reply with a quote. Maybe a couple more exchanges and I moved forward with them. They laid out their preferred payment/schedule plan. We still have a couple more weeks of consistent service for me to feel in the safe zone and not ghosted but I 100% appreciate the response. Felipe and his team are awesome! I've had them come to help me out a few times and Nora has been great with the scheduling and contact. This last time I let things lapse in getting my backyard taken care of, and the front needed a touch up. So I called & made contact on a Friday afternoon to get a Saturday 8 am quote with the team ready to go on agreement with the quote. Uh yes!, their prices are reasonable and was within my tight budget so agreed to move forward. They quickly had my place looking nice! I wish I had taken before & after photos, it was so bad I was concerned about being a fire hazard. In addition to mowing, things were trimmed up nicely, bushes straight and even hand weeding! Oh and bonus, my sprinkler system was disconnected to get the house painted and Felipe had the skills and time to get me hooked back up! I decided not to hire this company. Why? Because they want $100 an hour to take care of my yard (or $200 per month). It shouldn't take them any longer than 30 minutes to mow, edge, blow my yard and maintain the weeds as they use teams to do this (He said he would spot spray roundup on the weeds, not pick them). Any bush trimming would be only twice per year. He also told me his weed and feed costs $75 per bag. So he was trying to tell me it would cost $25 per month to do the weed and feed? According to him, it needs to be done every three months. Hmmm ... let's add this up. Scott's Turf Builder covers 5,000 square feet. 5000 / 500 = 10 One bag of Scotts ($26.49 at Target) should last two and a half years!
