Called for an estimate Mario came out about 2 hr. later. We had them do our rental property in San Ramon almost a year ago. They cleaned and colored the grout with a stain. They did the work before our tenants moved in with (two dogs and three kids). The tenants unfortunately just moved out. We expected allot of work as usual. We are amazed that the floor looks almost exactly the same. The product they used or" sealer" must be amazing stuff because the grout lines are an off white and usually discolor really easy. The tile and grout looks like it was just installed. My experience started off on the completely wrong foot but was salvaged by Adam. Don't be turned off by the people you reach on the phone. Once you are dealing directly with Adam you are in great hands. The bad The Grout Experts appear to use a call service company to handle incoming calls etc. In my opinion this call service is horrible and possibly costing them customers. I called to schedule a free inspection and my information was taken and I was told I had a 12pm appointment. When 12:20pm rolled around nobody was at my home so I called for an update. They asked for all of my information again then informed me I would be called back. The general service area I am in is run by Hoang, he called me shortly afterwards and apologized for the miscommunication. Appointments are given in 1 hour windows and I was scheduled for 12pm-1pm, the call service company should not have told me it was a 12pm appointment. I have had a few other contractors out and know the hour window is the norm so I had no problem with that. Hoang said my technician was on the way and should be there on time. I waited until 1:20pm rolled around before I was completely annoyed. I called Hoang and cancelled the appointment. Hoang was surprised and thought someone should have been there already. About 10 minutes after I cancelled Adam knocked on my door. Since he was already at the door I asked for some time to cool off then invited him in to carry on with the inspection. The good Once I was finally directly interacting with Adam everything was great. Adam is very friendly and open about the work that needed and didn't need to be done. Adam gave me a fair quote and more importantly his direct cell phone number to avoid the call center service in the future. After discussing the quote with my wife I called Adam back to confirm the work to be done and schedule everything. I did not receive a courtesy call confirming the appointment a day in advance. I mentioned this to Adam and he said it should have been done (call service company dropped the ball again) Actual work performed When my appointment time rolled around Adam was at the door at 10am on the dot. I am a first time homeowner and still learning all of my new responsibilities. I followed Adam around and took notes on everything. In addition to doing the scheduled work Adam also explained things I would need to know to handle items on my own. He was honest with me regarding what didn't need a contractor and what I should be able to handle with DIY supplies from Lowes or Home Depot. I noticed that Adam is one of the quality workers who doesn't just want to do his job, he wants to do his job right. For example, when he was done caulking areas he would go back to it to make sure everything looked right and was setting correctly. He didn't just caulk and move on. Recap I am very happy with the work performed by Adam and highly recommend him. The awful experience with the call service center is the only blemish preventing an "5 star" rating. read more

So I will start off by saying my bathroom is white! White tile with white grout and my wife keeps it very clean. Time has passed and mold began to develop so my wife said we need to fix it. After numerous home remedy attempts to get the caulk and tile grout clean we decided, actually my wife recommended calling a proffesional. So I called The Grout Experts!
