Made the drive into the city and grabbed meals for the family today and unfortunately was a little disappointed. Wait times were similar to the food truck about 30min, but I didn't mind. I ordered the chicken and shrimp rasta pasta, the salmon rasta pasta, the bbq chicken with yellow rice and green beans, oxtail egg rolls, and a 3 veggie plate. The rasta pastas by far were the best!! The flavors were great with the right amount of spice that gradually increased in heat as you ate. The portions were also generous. One member of my family doesn't eat very spicy food and the chicken breasts ended up being jerk with the bbq sauce and while I thought it was flavorful, he was unable to tolerate it. Slightly disappointing. They were out of the actual bbq chicken and said they only had chicken breasts and could put the sauce on them which I agreed to not realizing the chicken breasts were indeed jerk so I will say it was just more of a miscommunication versus food issue. I ordered cabbage, broccoli, and yellow rice for the veggie plate but realized upon getting home that there was not any cabbage but collard greens in the plate. My child doesn't like collards, but I tried them and they were ok just a little more vinegar than I like in mine. The most disappointing item was the oxtail egg rolls which I had grown to love. The meat was very sour/vinegar based and I was not a fan. I don't recall that being the flavor profile before so it was definitely a shock and disappointment as it was not appetizing. This ode to summers standing in the hot sun and long lines fell short, but as always the customer service was pleasant. Will I give it another try? Yes because I know the flavors I've come to expect so today just fell a little short of my family's expectations from previous experience.

It was the same chicken from the pasta, which was very salty & the shrimps were also tough. The rice and peas tasted very off and salty as well. The side of macaroni & cornbread were the only okay items. I had to throw away the rest. They were supposed to open at 12. When I got there at 12:15, the lights were off & people had been waiting. We were told they would be ready by 12:30 & certain things were missing from the menu or will be ready later on in the day. They started taking the first orders around 12:45. I didn't get my food till about 1:30 so I spent a little over an hour killing time. Though the staff was friendly, I will not be returning.
