Combo SALAD Platter (chicken and lamb)

Amazing food amazing service. I'm always surprised that this place is not packed because of how sweet this food is ambience is on time and punctual. I love it.

my husband and I stumbled up on this place looking for a late night bite. The service was quick and efficient. They had our food out within a couple of minutes. Restaurant itself a small, but since it was late at night, it was empty. Both of us got the combo plates, has had the red sauce and white sauce, and I opted for just white. After trying the red sauce, I realized I made the right decision because it packs a punch. I prefer the lamb of the chicken, but both of them are delicious. Honestly, the leftovers the next day were the best part.

Solid spot for a gyro, rice platter, or salad. They give a good portion of meat with all the fixins. Can't go wrong with white or red sauce, though I might say the red sauce does have a bit of spice to it.

This place used to be good until they started shredding the meat into crumbs and filling a box full of rice with 2 tablespoons of gyro. $14 almost $15 for this? What a ripe off.

This eatery is located very close to where I live. It has been around for a while, and this is the first time I've been there. I ordered their lamb and chicken platter. I liked the chicken a lot. It was tender, well-seasoned, and grilled just right. The lamb was also quite tasty, but it was on the saltier side to me. The platter came with lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumber, and rice. The vegetables were all very fresh. I have to say I loved the rice, which was so flavorful, fluffy, and cooked to golden yellow. Also, the portion was very generous. I totally enjoyed it. This place also offers gyro sandwiches and other side items like hummus, gyro firies, jalapeno poppers, and flafel. As to desserts, they have baklava and New York Cheesecake. If you want a healthy drink to go with your meal, you can get a freshly squeezed juice from a good selection of vegetables, like kale, beetroot, celery, and ginger. This place has a few cozy tables inside. While I was there, I saw most people do takeout. But if you decide to eat in, you'll enjoy a cool NYC mural backdrop to your New York dining experience.

Delicious gyros! The lamb and beef were delicious and all the veggies were very fresh! I got my gyro with red sauce on the side so I could control the heat, since I'm not one for spicy. My husband loves both white and red sauce together in his sandwich. Their hummus and pita bread were great as well. We were huge fans! Service was great and we got our gyros pretty quickly.

After shopping at the nearby mall, fierce "hanger" had set in. I needed something quick and a gyro platter sounded good. I ordered the lamb platter which included tomato, cucumber, bell pepper, lettuce tomato onion over rice with white and red sauce. Service was cordial and the food was ready fast. I recommend getting the sauce on the side. Otherwise everything gets so messy and the sauce overpowers the flavors of everything else. As far as the food, the meat tasted stale, like it had been sitting on a warmer too long. The tomatoes and veggies also didn't taste very fresh. I guess if you want fast, you sacrifice in freshness. With so many dining options in the area, I expected more. Location is good, service was fast, food not up to par - 3 stars

A clean, simple shop in a storefront location off Gaylord Pkwy, Mall Entrance Rd, north of Stonebriar Mall in Frisco, TX. (no drive thru) good amount of free parking near the front. Restrooms have always been clean: 1 male, 1 female, ADA access good, Locking. The produce used here is always crisp & fresh. The pita bread is never stale. A variety of meats, grilled, fried, or kebab are cooked fresh upon order, and usually cooked fast. Drinks: Sodas in can, in self-serve cooler. Seating is spartan, but clean. Today, I got the "NYC chicken on rice" plate, and it was pretty good. The chicken is leftover shawarma, usually never a problem, but today it had dried a bit too much, though it was safe to eat. 1st time this happened here. Usually perfection every visit, but no hard feelings. My lunch buddy had Chapli Kebab, which was juicy & savory. The Baklavá slice was good too. I poured extra "red sauce" which is chili paste with a good burn, or afterburn. The rice filled me up quickly, and with the excellent chopped tomatoes, white onion (crisp & sweet), and cucumber bits w/ lettuce, all helped to fill me up. No pita came with my order, and I forgot to ask. Anyways, a good visit here, and it was busy as usual with more takeout, UberEats, etc, than dine-in clients. I will say, they had some deep, deep blues music playing, with killer guitar riffs, made my chicken better! Only in America. 5 Stars, these guys are good!

A missed turn exiting the mall took me by this place and lo behold I saw the gyro shop in Frisco, like an old friend. I loved this place in Plano and was super excited to find them here. The food is the same. It's yummy-licious, delicious, scrumptious and all those other 'iouses. They also have kept the same generous portions where I get two full meals out of it so you're getting solid value out of your meal. They flipped the order sequence here, you pay them they make the bowl but I don't really care. There is a decent amount of seating inside as well and it's in the outer ring of the mall so parking is not a hassle. Highly recommend this place. Watch out for the hot sauce if it's your first time. It's good but bites.

I've been here a couple of times, and this place has a decent Gyro and/or platter. They offer a pretty basic menu with Chicken, Lamb or Falafel. You can choose between the platter with your choice of protein, rice, lettuce, tomatoes, white and red sauce. Or, you can have the same ingredients on a pita bread to make a Gyro. Service here really leaves something to be desired. On both of my visits the staff wasn't very friendly at all. On my last visit, we walked into the store around 7:30pm, the store was empty. The man walked out from the back and didn't say anything, he just looked at us. We ordered the platter, he looked into the rice pot and said there was no rice left and it would take 30+ minutes for more rice. So we ordered a gyro instead. When he was done, he handed us a bag with our food, we thanked him, but he didn't say anything back, he just turned around and started walking to the back of the store. If service was better, I would've given them 4 stars. With so many other options close by, I can't say i'd ever come back here again after my last experience. It's really a shame, because this place really has some potential.

    Orange, Apple & Carrot Juice....

Service needs to be better. He was so nonchalant. Shop decor was average. Gyros plate didn't come with pita bread. Salad was fresh & crisp. Lamb & Chicken was cut up very small. Fresh squeezed juice was great.

Edit: The owner responded, with all the kindness I'm sure he could muster, "Take ur business somewhere else baby boy , what you know about New York". For the record, I know their food has flavor. So here's another location that claims to have New York style chicken and rice, but as I've come to expect, they're nowhere close. If they at least had an acceptable imitation I'd at least rough a 3 maybe 4 star but they're really lacking. This store is converted from the old BurgerIm and so they've converted the central island into a quick topping line. This let's the one, lonely employee get your bowls out to you as soon as possible. He's mostly friendly but doesnt seem to be particularly familiar with the menu. As for food, this one sends it for me. Their rice was literally flavorless. They have bright orange rice and an ever brighter, in your face lack of flavor. Not to mention their chicken was pretty dry and flavorless as well. Even compared to the Halal Guys down here, which is more like a fast food (heh) version of a New York rice bowl, they're really missing out. Their white sauce is weak and their red sauce is an affront to flavor. I'm ashamed that someone would even call this much less market it 'New York Style'. Oh yeah, before I forget they charge a nice $10/bowl and give you a small size to-go bowl that's only about 75% full. The disappointment just doesn't stop. I genuinely won't ever bother coming here again and I would suggest everyone else do the same. There's plenty of places in DFW with quality rice bowls plus other delicious items to try!

My husband and I had never been to a BBQ joint quite like this before. At first, we were looking around like, "Is this a buffet?" Lol The restaurant has a really cool Western BBQ feel, and you can smell the BBQ smoking before you even walk inside. The meat is weighed by the pound, and we ordered brisket, baked potatoes, creamed corn, green beans, and a brisket-stuffed pepper wrapped in bacon. One of the coolest things is that if you eat inside the restaurant, dessert is FREE! They had peach cobbler, banana pudding, and ice cream. The brisket was AMAZING, and so were the creamed corn, green beans, peach cobbler, and those bacon-wrapped stuffed peppers! We really enjoyed everything we tried. This was such a fun experience and some seriously good BBQ. I can't wait to return!

Back in March I excitedly went to enjoy my usual brisket sandwich and green beans to find out they changed those to an entirely different recipe. Greasy and over powered with bacon and sweetness ruined what once was the best side they had there. Upon my most recent visit back two weeks ago I was hoping to find that they maybe realized they had made a mistake and went back to the original green beans but unfortunately that was not the case. Still those nasty greasy green beans. Eww! Also, my brisket sandwich this time was a no go. I asked for the lean cut but had to pick it apart to remove all of the fat in it which then made the bun super soggy. I was so disappointed again :( I'm not really sure what changes are being made and why but some things just need to stay the same. If it's not broke, don't try and fix it...

The tables are already set with plates, utensils, and pots with water and seaweed (kombu) 4 out of 5 for decor and ambiance I wish I could have liked the food more, but here's my honest opinion. I paid extra for spicy miso broth (I think an extra $2.50). They mix spicy miso paste into the water that is already boiling at your table. Even with hot drops, it was disappointingly bland. There are 3 dipping sauces: garlic teriyaki, ponzu (surprisingly sweet which I didn't enjoy), and peanut sauce (again bland). Nice that the sauces are unlimited, too bad they're not delicious tho. There were many choices of meat. I chose choice ribeye. You order by the ounce here so I ordered 8oz. High quality meat for the price. They give you a really small plate of veggies to start, but then if you ask for more (it's unlimited) they give you a giant bowl of spinach, tofu, carrots, mushroom, cabbage, and broccoli. You're also given white rice and your choice of noodle. I chose ramen, but it wasn't your usual ramen noodle. It was a tiny bowl with a handful of super thin noodles that took a long time to cook. 3 out of 5 for food Would I come back here? Yes!
