The restaurant operates daily from 10:00 AM to 11:30 PM, extending until 12:30 AM on Fridays and Saturdays. It's perfect for late-night food. The staff at this location truly elevates the dining experience. They're consistently friendly, engaging, and helpful. My orders are always accurate and prepared quickly. The Halal Guys are renowned for their delectable halal street food, and this Frisco location upholds that reputation. The combo platter, featuring both chicken and gyro over fragrant rice, is a standout dish. The meats are seasoned to perfection, and the accompanying white sauce adds a creamy, tangy balance. For those who enjoy an extra kick, the hot sauce provides a fiery complement--use it sparingly because it is spicy. I used to stop by this place weekly for lunch but had not been in about a year. I had a taste for something outside of mybteg rotation, so I stopped in for a bite. The restaurant was very clean with just a few customers. The staff was friendly, courteous and welcoming. I got the bowl which was my go to and couldn't wait to dig in. It was sooo disappointing. It was cold, greasy and the meat must have been sitting out for some time. Freshness really matters. The meat & rice had absolutely no flavor. I'm not sure if this was just an off day, but what I do know it that it will be another year before I take this chance again. When the most enjoyable thing on the plate is the iceberg lettuce & tomato, you've definitely got a problem! read more

Of course I had to stand in line to snag the infamous beef gyro and chicken platter served with rice lettuce and tomatos. Went during their grand opening and all walks of live far and near came to the opening! As step foot into the restaurant, there they were the Halal guys themself greeted me with a warm smile! The ordering style is ez pz you tell the halal staff what you would like and bam you got it! They were workin like a well oiled machine. One of the ladies asked "would you like pita bread?" Oh you bet! I'd LOVE some pita bread. Pro tip if you dress up like a taxi cab and say *beep beep* as you order your food your meal is free!! Come give your local Halal guys the support. This establishment is much smaller than the one in Plano so there are probably 4-5 tables lining the wall. We order the Braised Lamb specialty and it was alright. I thought they had a fries dish with protein but that wasn't offered so I got a side of fries. Not the same. We ordered a specialty drink and it was okay as well. Had an online order pick up. My son went in, they wouldn't give it to him so I went in and told them my first and last name with exactly what I ordered. The two ladies at the front refused to give me my food because they wanted me to confirm it was me. So I pulled out my confirmation receipt from the website and showed them, they still said they couldn't confirm I was who I said I was. I told them I could go get my drivers license to prove myself, the older lady said it was not necessary. I told them I have my confirmation receipt, I could give them my confirmation #, but my number was different from theirs so they still refused to give me my food because they said people were stealing food. It got me frustrated so I told them I've already given them my first and last name along with exactly what I ordered and showed them my receipt from them, how is that not enough to prove this was my order? And the receipt they provided me did not have the order number they had in their system. Theirs was only 2 digits and my confirmation number was 18 digits long. The older Hispanic cashier got angry and said "ok you are ... this is your order," she then threw my food on the counter, couldn't even hand it to me. I left Halal Guys maybe a year ago when the Gyro Shop opened a new location in Frisco. I went back today for dinner just to see if it was any still at least half decent. It wasn't. I didn't take a picture but everything tasted so bland. I got the combo platter with onions, peppers and olives, extra white sauce and 3 stripes of red sauce. The food had no flavor...I couldn't taste the chicken or gyro meat. It had no seasoning. The white sauce which used to have this great burst of flavor in your mouth...nothing. I got THREE stripes of red which is usually more than enough but not today. For a first time, I had to add some of my own hot sauce. I won't be back.... read more

Off the busy Eldorado Rd right off Dallas Tollway is a NY street food staple that has been transplanted across the country. It's good, honest and flavorful food that I quite enjoyed. We walked in just before 9 and the line was short, I was working through my order within a couple of minutes. I went for a regular platter combo; beef gyro(yee-ro) and chicken. Service with a smile!! And everyone in their(towards end of shift)was smiling and welcoming Half the bowl if filled with lettuce and chopped tomatoes (super fresh!!). The other gets this gorgeous Yellow rice, and the combo and toppings on top. I went with onions and jalapeños. Plenty of white sauce and some red sauce on half my order (I know wifey will want some!) The flavors work together so well, there is a nice level of worth in the red sauce. Just enough to flavor it up and not too much to overpower the meal. It's really 2 small meals if you want it to be. I went for the one sitting and I will be full till late. This may be a late night spot going forward, I'd prefer this to the burger joints across the highway....a lot more!! read more

Over the last 3 months, we have ordered delivery from here 6 times. The quality of the food is getting progressively worse. First two experiences were great and then it went downhill. The last 3 times we ordered, we didn't get the hummus we ordered Please check your orders before sending them out. Or if you're sold out of something, update your menu. read more

I got a small platter - The flavors are good but for rice, lettuce, some toppings, and falafel, I don't know if I could justify almost 13 dollars each time. I also got a lychee iced tea (4-5 dollars) which I got maybe 2 sips of because when I tried to put my straw in the cup, my whole cup broke. I hope that the quality of the cups improve in the future. As I mentioned, I got a small platter and the cashier tried to argue that I got a regular size platter which was also slightly frustrating. I've had this chain in the past, and was excited for the Frisco location to open, but don't think it will be a go-to for me. read more

I meet Richard over a year ago at the Frisco location after having an experience with another manager trying to convince me that a grease filled container of gyro meat was actually gravy. I complained to Corp and a few weeks later I revisited the restaurant and met Richard who was most accommodating to ensure my meal maintained The Halal Guys standards. Hi and Halal there! My wife and I went there this evening for the first time and have to say that the food was good, but not great. We ordered the falafel sandwich and gyro sandwich with a side of babaganush. Only thing is we did not care for was the babaganush, which was too chunky for our taste. Others may like it, but not us. The staff was very accommodating to replace it with the hummus which was decent. Staff was friendly. We would likely go back for the sandwiches but not the sides. read more

Food here was really good. It's fast and healthy. I got the small platter that came with rice, lettuce, tomatoes and falafel as my protein (you can choose from chicken or beef shawarma, too). Also, i love how they make the falafel fresh for you. Your choice of any toppings are allowed, I just added some hummus... but they have so many to choose from. They also have gyro sandwiches. It has a small and narrow area for dining, but you can eat out on the provided table outdoors. And, try their chocolate chip cookie.... It's perfect! read more

My husband and I must eat here once a week. We love the food and we feel good about the food. Lean meat, lettuce tomatoes, rice, the best sauce in town and they will spice it up for you how ever hot you like. I am " A line and a half". Right now they have the best lamb I have ever had. We've had takeout once and dine-in once at this location. For takeout, they got 2 of 4 orders wrong. For dine-in, they got 1 of 2 orders wrong. This was over about a 4 week period. I would not recommend this as a dine-in experience due to the cramped space and *LOUD* environment. All that was needed to complete the New York City experience was to have a fire truck roll through. The main offender was the guy pounding apart the chicken on the griddle top, but even the base level of noise was just way too much. Food quality itself was just okay. Ordered online for pickup for lunch. I arrived 5 min after it says order will be ready but it wasn't ready which was ok ! Waited about 10 min then another 5min still not ready ! They keep making everyone's order that walked in so didn't have time to attend to the online orders ! Didn't look at me while I was sitting there for over 15 min! Walked up ask how much longer and was told he will have it right out so I sat back down . Waited another 8 min then I saw him lol at me then he's started to work on my order. The meat and nan were okay. The prices stink for the quality of food. Pretty typical garbage subpar restaurants. I don't think most restaurants even have any repeat customers. Try don't try nobody cares. But Sams club sells better quality gyros read more
