    Chicken Shawarma Bowl

I don't take the time to leave reviews usually unless something was above and beyond. This is one of those moments. I also eat at Chipotle and Cava at an embarrassingly frequent amount. I can say with certainty, this place is a step above. A big step. The meat is so much better, wonderful flavor in both the chicken and beef shawarma. I was a little nervous because I did read the one comment about it being dry, but I didn't find that to be the case, it was tender and savory. Ambiance is great it's clean and bright! Service was wonderful, the staff actually cared and spoke to me like a human, which was refreshingly different than my normal options. The rest of the food actually tasted fresh, thank you for giving us another healthy option to those of us with food sensitivities! Thank you PITA, my new favorite place!

Looking for something new to try in north Dallas we stumbled upon Platia Greek Kouzina in Frisco…read morejust across for the Stonebriar mall. Given it was 12:30pm we were happy to see this place was quite full but still had a table for the 2 of us inside. There is a terrace which might be an option for our next visit. Yea you read that right, we will definitely be back. For lunch we ordered the octopus appetizer which was nice a tender, perfectly grilled and simply served with the most perfect vinaigrette. Nothing more than a little squeeze of lemon over it and you could have brought me a dozen more. But we had to save room for our mains. I chose the gyros salad and my wife the baked haddock with Greek potatoes and string beans. Both dishes were perfect. Not too fancy and just what the doctor ordered. Overheard several tables around us that they were repeat customers so we must have stumbled on to something good. So if you are thinking Greek, check this place out. You won't be disappointed

One was vegetarian (think Falafel, dolmas, etc). But the other one - The Mana You - really caught my eye: pastitsio(!!!), dolmades, chicken souvlaki, gyros, tzatziki and pita bread. + 2 sides, we got the greek beans and Lemon potatoes We opted to add a side greek salad for an additional $4.50. It also comes with a yogurt dip (so good that we asked our waiter for more and he happily obliged. We polished off every bit, but were full and satisfied. Next time I am in the area, we will be back!

The aioli is amazing, and I love the addition of pickles to it. It's super long and thin, and is always more than enough food for me even without any sides. Bf gets something different every time but is favorable to a potato side dish they have. We also both love their Greek salad. He's gotten multiple mains and is never disappointed. I doubt they remember us, but we see the same employee faces a lot and they're always very kind to us. I want to shout out especially the man I assume is the manager, who is here every time we come. A very jolly man who is always coming around and making sure we are satisfied. We're here multiple times a month. You won't regret coming here!

I even made my husband drive out of the way so we could come here, and they absolutely did not disappoint! I thought one of the dishes came with rice, but it didn't. When I mentioned it, the manager offered to get me some on the house. I still paid for it and left a tip because that was one of the kindest gestures. He even told me he'd make sure the tip went to his staff. Then, as we were leaving, he stopped us and told us to come back in and grab a drink on the house. That almost made me cry! The food was amazing, but the customer service was even better. Now I can happily drive back to Tennessee knowing I got to enjoy my favorite restaurant again. Thank you for making this visit so special!

Loved loved the cannoli but maybe 3 years ago they stopped selling them. So sad We ordered chicken kebab with rice. It was bomb. 5/5 in fact, it's the most affordable entree on the menu at $24 or $24. The table below to us, all 3 ppl they each ordered this same dish. Chicken was very tasty and tender Burger meh 2/5 - not recommended The sauce they used on it, not so good and they didn't ask if I'd like well done. Medium. Should have known never to order a burger at a Mediterranean place. Chicken piccata 4/5 I suspected the sauce would be sour and I never like sour sauce on a piece of cooked meat. But the waiter said it's not sour and it was really good. Well, suffice to say the chicken kebab was way better. Maybe it's preference. If you like sour sauce.. you could get this item Server 5/5 Real nice server. Would come back

We started with the Babaghanoosh which was good but not the best I've had. The pita bread was fresh and delicious. My son had the lamb chops which he loved! I had the lunch special with chicken which I did not care for as much. The saffron on the chicken was overpowering in my opinion. I would have preferred a regular kabob chicken. I'd be willing to try this place again and try something else, but there are better middle eastern restaurants if it doesn't pan out for me the next round.

Review: ARIA Mediterranean Grill Rating: (and a very full…read morestomach) If you are looking for a place where the portions are larger than my last three life decisions combined, look no further. I walked in thinking I'd have a "light lunch" and walked out needing a nap and a structural engineer to check if my belt was still up to code. The Food: The hummus is so smooth I'm pretty sure it could solve international conflicts if we just gave everyone a pita bread peace treaty. I ordered the Kabob, and let me tell you, the meat was so tender it basically gave up and melted the second it saw my fork. The rice is fluffy enough to be used as a premium hotel pillow, though I wouldn't recommend sleeping on it--you'll want to eat every grain. The Experience: The staff is great, but be warned: they have a "dangerously hospitable" vibe. You'll be sitting there, minding your own business, and suddenly there's more food on your table. I didn't know if I was at a restaurant or if I'd been adopted by a Iranian family who thinks I haven't eaten since 2022. The Verdict: If you're in Frisco. TX and you want to eat until you can no longer comfortably sit behind a steering wheel, this is your spot. Come for the garlic sauce, stay because you're physically too heavy to leave. Pro Tip: Wear your "stretchy" pants. You've been warned.
