I've been coming here since the salon opened and I can't say enough about it. I originally came here with disastrous hair from a previous salon. My hair was dry, brittle, breaking and multiple colors. The owner, Laura, did wonders on my hair and managed to get it back to a healthy state and back to a normal color. I have been coming here ever since. Laura and the entire staff are friendly, professional and do amazing work. I will never go anywhere else again. I recently had Laura and the staff of the Hair Factory do the hair and makeup for my wedding and everyone looked flawless. Everyone's hair and makeup stayed the entire night and everyone received multiple compliments throughout the night. We could not have been happier. read more

Got my hair done today at the Hair Factory and I am beyond happy with my end result! The place is big and very clean. Stylist and the receptionist were very welcoming and funny. My stylist today accommodated all my concerns on my hair. She went over our game plan before beginning my hair to confirm we were on the same page with my goals. The whole process was pretty fast and easy. She used this product on my hair that make it feel so soft and smooth. The highlights, cut and blow dry with curls was to perfection. I took my 8yr old daughter here. She received the shortest time haircut she has ever had. In less than 15mins. The lady cut her hair and didn't even do a neat job. On returning home, I noticed that she had uneven length of hair when pulled out and straightened. It was such a shabby job they did. Would never go again! read more

I fully acknowledge going in to this review that I should have said more. That is 100% my fault. I came in this weekend for a half head of highlights. I thought I'd be OK, decent reviews, its always crowded (and was crowded when I came in for a 9 am appointment). About half way through my service, I started noticing that my colorist wasn't highlighting the entire length of my hair - I got highlights about 6 months prior at a salon in the city - and said I wanted the roots to match the bottom of my hair. I asked and she said it was fine. I thought it was a little curious considering I hadn't been there before and she didn't know the color that the bottom of my hair was. Except for one highlight on the side, she did the full length with that one. That's when I knew I was in trouble. There were only about 12 foils in my head, 7 straight down the middle, 2 on the left and 3 on the right. Again, my fault for not saying something what I didn't think it was right, but I'm not a hairdresser, maybe its a new style. While I was processing, I was texting my mom and sister, saying I was getting a little concerned. My sister so nicely said she can get me into her salon, an hour away, and I said listen, it may not be that bad. Let's see. After I was washed out, it was that bad. Before it was even blow dried my hair was brassy yellow. The stylist didn't even attempt to tone my hair. Maybe I should have asked, I don't know? But, to be honest, I didn't even know what toner was before I went to the next salon. The bleach had bled out of the foils and I had a big yellow line on the back of my head, which again, I couldn't see or didn't know until I went to the next salon. Again, I should have said something, but to be honest, I didn't want this girl doing anything else to my head. I did have a look of horror on my face and she basically said "k bye." Maybe she was having a bad day, we all do. But to be honest, while I was processing, she was curling her own hair, so maybe it wasn't that bad? My sister ended up getting me into her salon, which is AN HOUR DRIVE away. These girls had to do highlights, lowlights and a toner. While the stylist at the other hair salon was highlighting the sides of my head, she literally sighed, went phew and said "there's just all sorts of surprises under here, how can someone do so much damage with so few foils." The owner said to me "I just don't understand how someone can let you leave the salon like that." I had such high hopes, the place as so cute and so crowded. Maybe it was just an off day, but this was just really, really, awful. read more

The staff was extremely helpful and allowed me to have several hair trials to make sure everything was perfect. The prices were very reasonable especially since two stylists traveled to my parents house to do my hair (bride), mother of the bride, and the bridesmaids. Firstly, I am a hairdresser and I just got too busy to do my own hair. My hair is thick and wavy and grows like fire! The woman who colored and cut my hair moved away and I had to find someone I could trust to do exactly what I wanted. I remember my friend had suggested that I try Laura at The Hair Factory and I made my appointment. I discussed what I wanted and showed her a picture and she did exactly what I wanted. I no longer color my hair, but it must be cut to precision in order for the waves to fall in evenly. I am very pleased with Laura's pleasant, professional and friendly manner. About 6 years ago, i went there and had my hair done by a younger stylist. My hair came out VERY dark and i complained and they refunded me. I even left a bad review on yahoo, BUUTT i since went back (i believe in second chances) to a stylist i hear good things about. I loved my haircut, so i deleted my bad review bc its only fair. I since tried to make an appt for color with the stylist who cut my hair, however the owner denied my appt. bc of what happened 5 years ago. You would think as a business owner, they are happy to turn a unhappy client into a happy client. especially bc i have nothing against the salon, just didnt like my color 5 years ago. I was extremely HURT by this bad business practice, as i gave a second chance and wasnt welcomed. i know there are good stylists here, but just dont complain bc you wont be welcomed back. sad. read more
