I really don't understand the good reviews this place has. This place is not horrible but it's not excellent and nor good. I wanted a haircut, just a trim keep the long layers and most importantly to take off the heavy weight from my hair cus it's very thick. It extremely ANNOYS me that as a hairdresser they don't ask any questions. I specifically know the scissors they use to take off the weight off the hair and this woman didn't do it. Amazing hair salon!!!! I've been going there for 10 years. Nicole and her girls have always been awesome, and great at what they do. I love the vibe there, and everyone is always so welcoming and friendly. Nicole has always helped me bring my hair visions to life. When I wanted to chop my long hair off and get a Mohawk, not only was she supportive, but she gave me such an awesome and stylish cut. When I decided to shave my head to donate all my hair, she was 100% supportive. They do great things in support of breast cancer as well. Couldn't ask for a better salon!! OMG I finally found my forever home. I dreaded going to a hair salon because too many hair stylists force their opinions of what you should get done on you and takes forever cutting your hair. Julz listened to what I requested and did everything perfectly and quickly! I'm a full time worker and student so time is extremely important for me. I got my Haircut by the same barber for over 15 years. When i moved to New Jersey I got some terrible haircuts. I tried another salon in town and had to pay 35 for a hair cut. Once I saw those people on reality Tv I could never go back not to mention $35 for a hair cut was a little excessive. I tried dolce and wow Kristin gave me the best hair cut I ever got !!! She is amazing and a very nice person to boot. I recently tried the Barber Brian and got an exceptional haircut as well. All of this and for a reasonable $15. Go to Dolce if you are looking for a down-to-earth, friendly, and experienced salon. Everyone who works here actually seems to like each other and what they do. Nicole is the WOMAN. She knows her stuff - whether its a basic cut or coloring/highlights or anything - i just sit in her chair and i tell her to work her magic. What i like is that there's no pressure - if all you want is a basic cut, they'll give you a basic cut and make you look beautiful. And Nicole is FAST - she'll have you in and out of there in 20 min and you'll look better than if you paid $200 sitting in a fancy salon for 2 hours (which I have, sadly) Kristen did my mother in laws hair for an event once, and she looked great. And they are so reasonably priced! And very community-focused, which says a lot about their character and ethic. No bad things to say about Dolce! read more

A great hair salon! Nicole is a fantastic stylist! She listens to what you want and always delivers it! She is great with cuts and color! Kristen is also a great stylist! She is friendly and very professional. Brittany however is not as great when coloring someone's hair. Unless you are blonde, I don't reccommend her because she will make you blonde regardless. read more

I was blonde and was ready for a change but didn't want to spend an arm and a leg at my old salon (which also happens to be 40 minutes away). My friend told me about Dolce, after I used box bye that turned out to be a failure. I made an appointment at Dolce the next day with Nicole. I was going for a cherry cola look, but walked in with fried dead ends from the blonde and blonde patches everywhere. Nicole fixed it and it has yet to fade! I usually have to go back 2-3 times because I wash my hair daily and it always fades. Nicole took off the dead ends and made my color beautiful. She even squeezed in the haircut when my appointment was only for color. I soon found out that I have 3 friends that go to Dolce, and one walked in when I was finishing up! Great pricing, around the corner from my new home, and friendly staff. Can it get any better than that? I'll be back for sure! read more

I most certainly have curly hair problems! Most hairstylists usually over cut my hair and BOOM there goes my hair length or "wanna be bangs curls" in my face due to bad layering job. But Nicole listens to what I have to say and gets the job done right and the way I want it. Never had a bad hair cut with her and get what I want. She's not afraid to try new things with curly hair but most certainly uses her better judgement to not let you walk out with a hair DON'T. I love this salon and the people are great especially Lisa C.! I have been going to Lisa since I was a kid and now I'm in my 30's! She is the best in the business and I always leave after she has cut, colored and styled my hair feeling beautiful.
