Don't come here!! Today, 9/14/19, they made one woman bleed and never apologized, didn't offer her a discount nor did they even give her anything for her bleeding finger. She immediately left. When they got to me, the woman with short brown hair kept burning me with the drill and squeezing my fingers so hard that they were in pain. She said it was my fault because I was tense...what??? Then I asked for a pedicure and requested that they use a new file instead of one they've used on other people. Of course they gave me the spill that the new files are very sharp. Duh, smooth them down like you do every new file, plus it's a public health issue. They hate to use new files to keep costs low. Please, No fungus for me today. She told me that I was just too sensitive and she just didn't seem to understand that it was a safety issue. Perfect Nails used to be my favorite salon, they were reasonably priced and always did a good job. However this time was a huge fail....I started the appointment by asking my technician if she could do a marble design. After reassuring me she could, I am extremely disappointed. I wish the nail tech would have been honest, and said no. Now I have over paid for colors and an awful set. The nail shape is uneven, and thick. **UPDATE** I've changed my review to one star for two reasons: (1) I've gone back once more after this initial visit and got dip for a manicure. Both times my polish has cracked in under a weak - and no, I wasn't doing anything in that week that would have caused it. I've had dip done at several other salons and those would not chip for AT LEAST 4 weeks! (2) I showed up at 10:15 and the salon is supposed to open at 10:00 - according to their sign on the front of the salon. I waited with four other women for at least 15 minutes before they showed up to open the salon. Very unprofessional and quality was subpar. *** I thought the service was excellent! They had a lot of staff working so you could come right in and sit down right away to be worked on! They have lots of choices for dip manicures too! The reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars is just because I would like to see more sanitation of the equipment going on - it seems like they do, but I would like to see more of it. Never going back Alex or Alen who ever he was rushed to fill my nails did horrible designs and after multiple chances he continued to mess up. After cutting every single finger I still ended up with a horrible design and hand to pay 45 dollars for a fill and design my friends can with me and got a full set and that was only 45 dollars. Went in happy and excited..left upset and disappointed . The nail color was way off from the samples. I was scolded by the manicurist. I noticed the shades weren't what I expected and said I would like to switch out a color for a darker bc I was going for a three colored look. It did not set well with the lady. I felt like I was expecting too much. Had my hand under the hardening machine and did not notice I smeared my nail and she scolded me for it. Will not go back. Got my nails done yesterday.. First off, the wall says $7 for a soak off.. they charged me $10.. I asked for a full set of acrylic nails. $20.00 The lady has the station right behind the front counter did my nails. Asked for her to make them long, I always get them really long. She told me $5 for long. So I told her okay and she continued with my full set.. She starts cutting the tips off for length and ended up cutting them too short. So I asked her to redo the one hand she had cut a few of the nails shorter than what I had asked for. She wasn't happy but she did it over. The second time, she again cut them too short and when I said something she kept ignoring me . At this point I was already heated.. I told her I wasn't going to pay the extra $5 then. Since she didn't want to give me the length I had continued to ask for.. she continued to do them. She applied the acrylic and shaped them. I wasn't happy with the way she did them at all. I waited for them to dry and they weren't drying ... Sat an additional 15 minutes tryna see if they'd dry. But they weren't. So I had the lady look at them and she told me they were fine. And sprayed a little quick dry over them. Total they charged me for .. $38.00 when I asked for the break down of my bill she said: $10 soak off $20 full set $5 long $3 because she had to take off the tips on the hand she messed up.. On top of all that.. i woke up this morning and all the nail polish messed up.. like it never fully dried. My guess is old nail polish or a bad top coat.. BS!!!! Perfect Nails is Perfect! I love coming here for a pedicure and an eyebrow wax. Not only is everyone super friendly but, also there are great color and design choices. I am sucker for designs on my big toes and they do not dissapoint. I have gotten flowers, lines, crackle and rinestones and I am always pleased with the result. Plus, you can't beat the prices: $15 for pedicure, $5 for designs and $5 for eyebrows! Oh! I almost forgot to tell you. Went in to get a fill. I was told one price. I agreed to add $5 for no chip polish since they kept pushing it on me even though I had said no multiple times. I went to check out and my charge went from $23 to $35. I asked why and they just kept saying it was right. I got fed up with arguing and just paid with no tip as I usually leave a $10 tip. I figured that they just got it by pulling a bait and switch. This place is wrong. It's not bad. Very convenient for me and $15 for a pedi. I have mixed reviews for their customer service. One woman was great, even gave me a shoulder massage, while another time I went, this woman made me feel kind of uncomfortable and wasn't very friendly. She did a mediocre job. In a word: incredible! In quite a few words: I was sitting at work today remembering just how gross my feet were. But, wait! It's payday! So I decide I can treat myself to a pedicure. I search for places on the way home and come across Perfect Nails. $15 pedicure this must be a joke! I decide to give it a whirl because really how bad can it be? I was immediately greeted by a manicurist when walking in. I ask for a pedicure and they tell me to pick out a color. They have a nice selection of OPI and China Glaze polishes when you walk in. ( I went with a China Glaze hot pink color in case you are wondering.) Onto the chair! They are a little on the narrow side. I imagine they could be uncomfortable for a larger lady (or man). But they also have the fun vibrating and massaging tricks to them to so who am I to complain? The pedicure itself took about a half hour. All of your pedicure basics included: clip and file nails, push back cuticles, scrub the bottoms, and lotion. As an added bonus, you can choose either the sea scrub massage (+$6) or the regular massage (no additional cost). I went with the regular but I'm not a huge fan of leg and foot massages. Most of the time, it feels like they are about to break every bone in my foot. Oh and I'm ticklish. The massage itself was probably five minutes then she painted my toes. It turned out fantastic! I was elated at the ease of this place. In and out in 30 minutes and only $20 after tip. Woo-hoo! PRO-TIP: I got there about 4:30 and when I left there was a wait starting. I have visited this place sporadically over the last 5 years or so. I am increasingly disappointed with every visit. Two days ago I got a really pretty no-chip manicure, but two major problems: first, the nail technician cut me when trimming my cuticles (just muttered a "sorry" and moved on. Didn't try to clean the cut or stop the bleeding or anything.) , and second, today I noticed one nail has a chip and the other is peeling. On a no-chip manicure? For $33?? No way will I be returning to Perfect Nails. This is far from perfect. I give 2 stars because they try to accommodate for your interests (I showed a pic of the design I wanted, and the nail tech helped me find the right gel colors and tried to do ombré - although the technique was not totally successful, it was cute.) Perfect Nails has been sold, explains the increase in their pricing and the decrease in their staff. I have gone here for years. Was always a pleasant experience until today. I went in for a pedicure & manicure and then I gave them my gift certificate which they would not honor. Wait why not? The expiration date on the certificate was Feb 2023 for a pedicure & manicure. The new owner came over & told me it was no longer Perfect Nails it had been sold and they would lose money if they took my gift certificate because the previous owners sold it to me. What???????????? I said where your sign under new management? Why is the sign still on the building Perfect Nails? Why are there business cards in your establishment saying Perfect Nails? Of course, none of my questions could be answered other then they applied for a business license. Needless to say, I paid for my pedicure & manicure, which meant more to them than me. It's the principal and I felt they should have been respectful and honored it. How many customers out there have gift certificates? Kiss them goodbye. I am not writing this review out of anger, it is the principle of it. Over the past several months I have noticed low staff and the longer waits than usual. Customers are stepping in and finding out how long the wait is and stepping back out. There are so many other nail salons in Frankfort, and I will not give them my business any longer. It's not because it was sold it is because they are very unprofessional. You don't buy a business and not have any signs up saying under new management. Upon entering the salon I could see it was busy and was expecting to be told to have a seat and wait. However, once I told the man at the station closest to the door what I wanted he had one of the girls seat me and get started. I came in for my previous gel set to be removed and a complete new one. $7 for removal sounds like a good price to me. I was not accustom to various people attending to my nails throughout my visit. It seems they do this frequently, just going from station to station as needed. After showing the nail tech what I wanted I picked out the polish I wanted (only complaint here is that they don't put the polish they've used at the various stations back. so i saw some colors I might have liked at say the pedicure area after my nails had been started) she then added my total up and got to work. I paid $40 plus tip for the removal and a new set of gels. I'll see how long these last as compared to my previous set, but so far I was impressed and would return. read more

The main attraction: $15 pedicures. I live in Homewood, but that is the main reason why I would drive all the way out there. Not only are they $15, but the massage chairs are really powerful; which I need since I experience moderate back pain from time to time. And when they are busy, you get a longer massage, which is a plus! The reason why they get a 4/5 is because sometimes they rush the actual manicure part. They have cut my nails shorter than I have asked for before and the nails aren't always symmetrical in height or shape. The water is not always hot either. But I like the foot and leg massage! $5 eyebrows is nice, but I not if you have thick eyebrows like I do. They are not the best with shaping eyebrows, just cleaning. But I do like how they take you to a separate room. I like not having other people watch the tears fall from my eyes whenever I get my eyebrows waxed (I have a LOT of hair). They have $10 manis and pedis for kids (which is good). And they take appointments! read more

Since moving to the area I've been trying to find a nail salon I actually like. This was my 3rd try and it was a winner! 1. Great atmosphere. Lots of people there, which tells you it's popular, and also doesn't make it awkward. I tried another salon and it was me, one other person getting her nails done, and about 5 employees talking to each other in Vietnamese. Horrible experience. 2. Very skilled nail artists. I saw a picture of cool nail art in a magazine, and the manicurist was able to re-create it for me without any issues. Cost, $3 per nail 3. Relaxing. Nice pedicure massage chairs, and i felt like i was just able to sit back and relax. 4. Price. $15 pedicure, can't beat it. Cant remember manicure price, but nail art was $3/nail on top of manicure price. I only got nail art on 4/10 nails. Tip for beginners: When walking in if no one is at the desk just wait until the lady comes over. Check in and pick out polish color on the wall. They have gel polishes too. He's very precise and makes sure you're satisfied. However, today I ended up with a different manicurist, and she was wonderful as well. I've had most of them for either a manicure or pedicure - all fantastic people & stylists. 2) They're extremely friendly. I'm never intimidated when I walk in. The new owner is HORRIBLE. I had gift cards that were purchased in Jan of this year, which were not expired. I went several times this year using up my gift cards from the holidays with no issues. I even went just about two months ago and used them with no issues. I went yesterday to get my nails done and when it was time to pay I was told they would not accept my gift cards due to new ownership. I asked why signs weren't placed with a date saying for customers to use their gift cards by if they still had them and was not given an answer, just a bill. I have gone to this place for over 15 years, and have been a loyal customer. Not anymore. They new owner was beyond rude about this situation, getting an attitude with me, and not caring that money was spent and we couldn't even use the gift cards. She even tore them up in my face. BUYER BEWARE!!!! I used to be a big fan of this nail salon...not anymore! I came in for a simple pedicure. I picked out my polish & proceeded to the pedicure bowl. The girl turns on the water...I put my feet in.. And she walks away!! THE BOWL OVERFLOWED..RUINED MY SHOES & THE LADY NEXT TO ME. I yell, HELLOOOOO!! One of the other girls turned off the water.
