As long as you are flexible with anyone to cut your hair, then you can be seen ASAP. I always call beforehand and I always get to be seen same day within the next 2 hours. I only had two people cut my hair here, Michelle and Ken???? Ken is a new guy with dyed hair and speaks limited English. Michelle has been doing this for a while. I loved their old location but this new location definitely helps their salon shine. Lots of natural lighting and room for them to really allow an open space concept with seating throughout for others to see the magic happens. For the price of $28 before tip for a male's haircut, I think it is a fair price to ask in this economy and prime location. Hairwashing and shampoo is included for before and after the cut. Also if you want them to style your hair and prepare it for the day then that is also included with gel/wax/hair spray (your choice). Use cash if you can to avoid the 3% credit charge fee. I come here, get an amazing shampoo/head massage experience to start, then a cut, followed by a blow dry and hair straightened! And it's reasonably priced! I remembered mostly being in pain and listening to strange conversations from the dressers discussing about financial issues/litigation, etc. for professionalism, I don't think discussing about financial legal issues is the best thing to do. Also watching one of the dressers come in and then go straight to a booth and start buzzing his own hair was also odd. I was here for a haircut and highlights without an appointment. I am grateful they managed to squeeze me in. The whole appointment was about 3 hours long. I don't recall my previous balayages/highlights being this uncomfortable. The technique here, which makes sense is sectioning hair and teasing it and then applying the chemical. The teasing part was rough and I kept thinking how were they going to remove a whole head of tangled hair later? Sure enough, as they were combing the hair out, applying a lot of conditioner, I questioned if there was a less barbaric way to do this. By far the star of this place is a stylist named Jessica. IT sounds like my dresser complained that Jessica doesn't show up in time and offered me a spot with her instead of Jessica. This was a dry cut with a slight flat iron style, and the price was a flat $20. The shop closes at 7 PM Mon thru Sat and 6 PM on Sun.
