Enjoyed our little road trip stop at The Half Pint. Super nice bartender. Tons of draft choices featuring local and regional craft brews. My highlight? The soup! It was SO velvety smooth and I loved the topping of pepitas. Hubby enjoyed fried chicken sandwich and the boys also loved their burgers. Younger had the PBB&J. He actually didn't expect to like it and was pleasantly surprised. SUPER juicy, so if you order have the paper towels at the ready. Oh, and almost forgot our starter - fried cheese curds. The breading was so nice and light. You didn't feel like you had a lump in your belly. Perfect app size for 4 to share and not ruin meal. Glad to be able to stop and visit The Half Pint again. Nice casual lunch or dinner spot with diner like sandwiches and easy grabs. Enjoyed a Classic Burger and Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich (AWESOME!!). The restaurant was super busy so I got mine to go. I ordered the feast sandwich without the bun. I omitted the greens as well. The regular fries and sweet potato fries were not gluten free so I opted for the weekly vegetable. It was sautéed Brussel sprouts with yum yum sauce and sriracha. I requested no sriracha. I enjoyed the cranberry sauce on the turkey and the Brussel sprouts were quite delicious! Ordering was easy and the staff was friendly. I felt like it was way too crowded in there for my comfort level. They did have a in door and a out one so it separated us a bit. Came by this place driving back from the ski slope. We read good reviews so we decided to try it out! It was a cute little place. A group of six was able to be seated immediately around ~1 pm on a Saturday. They had a nice parking lot in the back. The menu had lots of fun sandwiches but I wasn't very hungry so I got snacks. There were also lots of beers to choose from. Not a lot of gluten free options here. I really enjoyed the soup of the day which was a lemon chicken and rice and the sweet potato fries. They obviously have a ton of beer options which is nice. My only two complaints are the beer is not very cold and it is typically hot in the restaurant. The food was amazing ( so good I forgot to take a picture ). I had the pablano burger with an egg on top. It was a lil messy but a perfect reason to lick your fingers. My mom had the fried chicken sandwich ( it was HUGGGGEEEEE!!! ) and that was scrumptious as well. My mom loved the sweet potato fries! This was well worth the 40 mile drive to try. What a nice little place! Clean, GREAT food, and the service is equally notable. Such a pleasure to have stumbled upon this triple threat while passing through Marysville. So much so, we'll likely make the hour+ trek solely for the enjoyment that is dining at The Half Pint. So many yummy options from which to choose, but the classic burgers were calling each of our names. And dang, we're both glad they did. Those, along with the fresh cuts sprinkled with a combo parmesan and sea salt (freaking yum!) totally hit the spot. The beer wall (taps) is also impressive with the combo domestics and craft beer options. That they offer flights is always a bonus! If you haven't been, and you're peeking in Yelp to determine if you should give 'em a go, do yourself a favor and do so. They really are a very nice group of people providing quality food in a clean and inviting space with service on par with Michelin rated restaurants (sans any attitudes of superiority :) ! read more

I ordered stakehouse burger with salad, my husband ordered buffalo chicken sandwich with fries, and our daughter (4y) ordered kids meal(grilled chicken and fries). I loved their salad. Came here for the first time and wasn't overly impressed. Their beer menu was severely lacking any dark beer. Ordered the cheese curds which were a tasty appetizer. My Buffalo wings though were quite sad and reminded me of cheap frozen wings you can buy at the store and didn't have much sauce or flavor. My father ordered the gyro and mentioned the lamb was not cooked well (some parts being undercooked). Went here at ~12:30 on a Saturday afternoon. It was the perfect spot to stop at after skiing at Mad River. It was not crowded and we were seated with a party of 6 right away! I will say, there is not a ton of seating here so if we did go at a busier time, I think it would have had to wait for a table. Our waitress was very attentive and checked on us a few times before we all put in our orders. The food came out fairly quick too. There was a good atmosphere here! The cider I got was pretty good, not very dry, but semi-sweet. The veggie burger was delicious! Lots of flavors in the burger itself. The chips on the side were good too. This was my first visit. I loved the different beer selections it was very unique. The menu seemed very well laid out although I would have liked to see just some simple comfort food like regular fries or a baked potato. My friend had cheese curds and I had sweet potato fries . Wow! We went to Marysville to show our son where he was born. The town has grown so much over the past 16 years! There were many places we wanted to try- this being one. My son and I both had the PB and J burger. They were amazing! I had mine extra pink and it was so juicy I had to use many napkins! I have had this type of burger before- but the addition of the bacon blew the others away. My daughter had the crab cake sandwich and ate the whole thing ( she is 14 and a pain to feed) a great testament to the food! The had cut fries are not greasy- they are perfect! I have two different reviews because we went here for dinner and then brunch the next day. So that should tell you something. We were in town for a soccer tournament and it was Mother's Day weekend. Needless to say, restaurants were crowded. The waits were long no matter where we checked. For the dinner, we all had fantastic meals. The cheese curds were absolutely great. We tried the classic burger, steakhouse burger and even the pb&j burger - which was surprisingly good. The French fries were excellent. The beer menu is vast. The wine menu is non existent. The drinks menu is ok. We tried our luck the next morning because there really were very few options. We had the cranberry mimosas and bloody Mary's. Both were very good. We tried the waffles, French toast, chicken and biscuits and frittata. All were delicious. One of us had the red eye gravy and biscuits and he said it was the best he's ever had. I just noticed this place a few weeks ago, and I think it opened Friday the 1st. Luckily it was open when I swung by for lunch. Service was great start to finish. It's a little small inside, but there are two sides, so check past the central stairs. It's a bar-restaurant, but not too loud inside. Plenty of parking nearby- across the street, alongside, and out back. I had to bypass the beer list since I was headed to work, but it looks interesting. I started with the cheese curds, which were lightly battered, salty, and cheesy; they come with a sriracha ranch that is just barely spicy... And they were very familiar- which makes sense, because it turns out this is an offshoot of the Pint Room. The menu is smaller (6 kinds of burgers instead of 12, smaller selections in other menu sections, etc.) But it's the same good stuff. I then had a small chopped salad- just lettuce, bacon, tomatoes, etc., but very well done. Super fresh, with a good balance of flavors. Finally, I had a cup of short rib chili. Meaty, with tender shredded beef, and fresh tomatoes plus a little heat in the flavor. Cheese, sour cream, and scallions on top turned it into a great little cup. read more

I've been here a few times now and I can safely say I love this place. They are one of the few places that have sour beer and it's awesome. And yes it's very sour so buyer beware. Now as for their burgers, I think I've had a few different ones but the one that stands out is the PB&J. I know, I know, it just sounds weird and even somewhat gross but try it once and you'll absolutely love it. I was skeptical too but I tried it with another skeptical friend and we both really loved it. They are also always so friendly here as well. Be aware though that this place is popular and sometimes you may have to wait for a seat. It is also a small place so you may not have a lot of elbow room but it's worth it. I definitely recommend this place as the place in Marysville to go to get a great burger and a really ice cold, tasty beer. read more
