Bridal party fun! www.danielnydick.com NJ wedding photography

I can't say enough great things about The Hamilton Manor! My bride and groom were so very well taken care of, and as a wedding photographer ( www.danielnydick.com) , I have to tell you they do a WONDERFUL job here!

    Sweetheart table

This place is amazing. Family and friends said it was by far the best wedding they have ever experienced. From the venue, staff, scenery, top shelf drinks, and OMG the food. Best experience ever.

    Hamilton Manor shower! Sisters!!!

Just hosted a bridal shower here on 3.7. Everyone took care of us. From the time we walked in, each person I passed was friendly and asked, "how can I help you?". The room was set up nicely. The food was fantastic. The eggplant rollatini changed my whole perspective on eggplant...I loved it! The staff gave us a cart and helped us get our presents out. You can see that the staff works well as a team. I would definitely consider this place for another event!

We opted for the $20 drink package for unlimited Mimosas and Bloody Mary's which was a tremendous deal. Rob was attentive to every detail, as always. I think I ate the entire ocean at the raw bar, from shrimp and crabs to claims and oysters. I had 3 helpings. And most importantly, the mothers (my wife and mother) thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We followed the signs to find the restaurant and there was plenty of parking right outside. We were seated immediately and I loved the dim lighting in the restaurant, although it was maybe a little strange that there were football games playing on two big screen TVs. I was looking for a more romantic setting for our date night, but it wasn't a huge deal. Our server, Will, did a great job throughout. The table bread was very light and airy, and the olive oil served with it was pretty decent tasting. I got the crab cakes for myself, while my wife got the grouper. The food was prepared reasonably quickly, and it was very tasty! In hindsight, I wish I would have gotten different sides (maybe mashed potatoes versus roasted potatoes, and a different veggie instead of green beans), but that's on me :) The menu online didn't have any prices when I looked, so I can inform you guys that the crab cakes were around $35 and the grouper was something like $30. We ended up finishing with the tiramisu, which was also quite tasty and good for sharing! Also, the wine and beer list was OK - I ended up getting some not-so-great pinot noir by the glass, but nothing too offensive. It did look like they had a pretty well stocked bar, so if you're into cocktails, they could probably make you something interesting. Overall, the food was very good, and I would definitely come back here.

I believe Jennifer was our server who took care of my husband & I, making sure we had food in our bridal suite, tidying things up, that our drinks were always filled & just really wanting to make sure we were comfortable & taken care of throughout the evening. The boathouse met our needs & was perfect for us. I highly recommend!

If you are only renting the place and not using any of their extra services they get butt hurt and sit in the corner of your party and watch everything going on, will walk through and watch at door openings like they are part of the party. The place overall needs better management, the place is a decent size but without opening that back extra party room they have you can't fit more than 200 safely. The Hibernians are a great presence in Hamilton, providing a large number of services while giving members the ability to share their Irish heritage. They claimed that the event was a rebook from a postponed event from 2020, but this was untrue. The event was a sweet 16th that was booked in either March or May of this year, MONTHS after we booked. (Who would book a sweet 16th 2 years in advance?) We found this out because one of our guests accidentally went to their event upon arriving. The caterer, Joe, was very sweet and offered so many things to make up for the mishap, I truly do not think he had a say in our event being knocked out due to the double booking. I believe that he just had the unfortunate job of calling me, but the club itself I would NOT recommend. The food was amazing, again thanks to Joe and his staff, but the club crammed the bartender into the tents and took up dance space, after I left from decorating and they said he would be outside of the tent next to the food table. They only provided 2 heaters (another thing Joe provided due to the mishap) and one ran out of propane before the reception was over. Lastly after our reception was over a family of 4, guests of ours, (including a child, as our event was kid friendly) went inside to wait for their uber who was set to arrive within 20 minutes (as it was cold outside and the one heater was out of propane and the other wasn't heating much) and the female bartender inside was very rude to them along with some patrons who rudely said something along the lines of they shouldn't allow non members to have events, you have to be members to come here. Myself AND my husband are members, joined, and paid our yearly dues so we could have our event. I know the club has no responsibility in what the members say, but the way the bartender treated our guests was unacceptable. The male bartender we had outside was very nice and our guests were able to speak to him and wait for their Uber. Definitely think before you book here.

It was hot the day we went, so we stuck to apple picking and cooled off at the marketplace afterward (skipped the maze and sunflowers). The cider and donuts were just okay compared to other farms I've been to, but the apple cider slush? Totally addictive (even if it's $9 -- ouch). This was the most disorganized staff and tasteless food I've ever had. At nearly $70 a plate one should NOT expect to run out of food NOR have bland COLD food served. I should have known this was going to be a horrible experience when they ran out of food 45min into the happy hour. I was also stopped at the door and told I couldn't bring the small plate of cold mozzarella sticks out the door because there was going be food served in the main ballroom. No shit but. The bland mozzarella stick was all I could gather from the EMPTY chafing pans. On to the main ballroom. BEAUTIFULLY decorated by the brides wedding planner. BEST part of this experience was everything done by the wedding planner and party. Main Ballroom Food: Alfredo, fillet mignon, salmon potatoes, string beans and assorted dessert. Alfredo COLD and BLAND!! Salt and pepper served no justice. Fillet NASTY cheap meat covered in some CHEAP ass Gorgonzola cheese. The presentation was disappointing. Salmon was mediocre and COLD. The potatoes and string beans were decent. There was a moment during dinner where someone at my table asked for more potatoes and we were told they ran out (no surprise) but when she brought and plate of potatoes and beans from ANOTHER TABLE to ours I was done!! WHO DOES THAT!! The Assorted dessert and wedding was not served in its entirety. Like every other table had wedding cake and assorted desserts. Overall, High cost cheap food and alcohol.
