Now on top of all this - they recently implemented a rule of not allowing any food or drink onto the table in the middle of the bowling seating where in any other bowling establishment is a very common practice. This is a NEW rule and one employee was extremely rude about it. It's understandable but inconvenient now. The only redeeming factor is the price to bowl. If you're looking for a cheap game and have nothing else to do it can be a good spot. Most of the employees are pretty friendly too.

I've always enjoyed the sounds of pins crashing and fun banter that you hear going on. We did have the bowling balls get stuck in the return a couple of times and once the pins didn't reset. The service button on didn't work so my husband walked up to the desk and they fixed it quickly. A standout of the evening was the staff at the food counter. They were super friendly and had lots of smiles. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite match up to their enthusiasm. My husband had a cheese burger and fries, and I had waffle fries and friend pickles. Honestly, we found them underwhelming. The flavors were lackluster, leaving us a disappointed. Once you get to the gate, the Federal police officers will check your pass and driver's license and will kindly let you through (reservations in advance active, retired, or DOD). The center is cozy, Karaoke area (flat screen TV with singing machine set up), X box gaming area, six bowling lanes with computer scoring, and an billiards table in the back. Everything looks less then 3 years old, much newer than any bowling alley in Hawaii. No food or drinks served in the facility, but they allow food and alcoholic beverages! The kids only wanted to bowl one game so I paid for that plus $5 shoe rentals. They have a 3% convenience fee for using credit cards. Once we started the game, the kids were going through frames quick since they were guttering a bit. They decided they did want to play another game and the lady accommodated the last minute change and added the extra game. The cost did go up to the junior rate of $4.50. They announce that all games must be completed by 11:15 for the early bowl. I enjoyed the old school feel to the bowling alley and it seemed like everyone knew one another there.
