Fries were cold. The sushi roll we got, the Tsunami, was excellent! The steak platter is actually a "starter" but it was enough for a meal. Also added fries on the side. Multiple options for types of fries to add onto it.

Came here on a Wednesday and their games were half off. Had a total of ~$40 and we were able to play a decent amount of games. Before we played though, we grabbed a quick bite. We got a steak to share (you could add rice and/or fries for a charge). The steak was pretty good, we got it medium rare, it was flavorful and so were the mushrooms. The sizzling plate also added onto it. It did take a while for it to come out and since they were super slow the wait felt extra long. We also got the cookie skillet to share and that was pretty good too. I would say this was my first time ever having a skillet cookie so I am unsure how it usually is. I just felt that it would've been better if the cookie was a bit more cooked as it all turned into super sweet mush halfway (with the whipped cream and ice cream) in.

Updated review to 4 from 3 stars. Eric was a stellar host upstairs. He multitasked a full house on a Friday night and had time to give us pointers and explain some stuff.

Garlic fries

I feel like the good isn't as good as before. Either new chef or new recipes. Ordered the garlic parm fries and it tasted like regular fries until we got to the end. When you can finally taste the garlic it's covered in a lot of oil. The ribeye steak was okay. I like that it comes on a bed of mushrooms and onions. The steak was medium rare when ordered rare but no issue sine it came on the hot plate. Spread them out and let them sit for a bit it cooked out, they also cut the steak very thin. It was smoking and sizzling but the steak was room temp. Kiki pizza was hot and steamy had to let it cool down before baby could eat it. Loco Coco was good. All foods came out room temp/warm except pizza. Server was really nice though! Came pretty quick with refills.

Took my fiance to lucky strike for dinner and we loved it! The food was really good and the service was awesome, not to mention the great music they were playing last night. I ordered the lemon pepper hot wings and my fiance ordered the bistro bacon burger, and we both shared the mozzarella sticks. The wings were pretty good but I feel like they were pretty small and could have used a little bit more seasoning. But the burger was amazing! It was super juicy and the bistro bacon that was added into it gave it an even more deep flavor, it's juicy and savory and worth the price. I should have definitely ordered that instead haha. The mozzarella sticks were good too and gave a really good cheese pull when we ate it! Our server Chauncey was really nice as well and took really good care of us last night. The vibe in lucky strike is always nice too, they have giant tvs playing which ever game might be on at the time and they have great music playing through out the entire establishment. It was also pretty empty for a Friday night, might be because of the new Dave n busters, so even more of a reason to come here instead! We will for sure be coming back to eat dinner and play some games in the future, especially if we need to plan an event with some friends. Next time I'm definitely gonna order a burger though, or maybe the sizzling steak platter.

Happy hour tacos, sliders and mozzarella sticks.

Came here for happy hour and it's a good spot if your expectations are not high. Food ok, service is a little slow, and happy hour prices are good. I would come back.

Dried out burger slider

Reserved their small room for a celebration. Really nice staff, super friendly. Most of the food was good. The sliders were a total let down. I had seen pictures on Yelp and thought they'd be a good add to our menu, NOT so much. Burger sliders were really overcooked and dried out. The chicken sliders were a very thin dried out piece of bread chicken, thought they'd be more of a chicken tender thickness. We threw most of them away. The chicken skewers were delicious. Again, dealing with staff was great.

Classic Sliders on the Happy Hour menu for $6

This was a year ago, I didn't get a chance to until recently. I wanted to check out Sweet Mango's showroom which happens to be at The Pineapple Patio. From what I read, they do pop up events at The Pineapple Patio. The location of The Pineapple Patio is on South King St. right after the pet hospital and Central Pacific Bank. Stay on your far left lane as South King St. is one way. Make a left when you see State Farm Insurance. What I dislike about this place is the parking lot. Parking is very limited and very tight. I had a hard time parking my vehicle and hard time getting out. Once you find parking, you hit the buzzer for your pop up business and someone will come down to open the glass door for you. Walk up the stairs and you will see all the different vendors. During my visit to The Pineapple Patio, I had to pick up my son and was in a rush. I didn't get to browse around to the other vendors. What caught my eyes were all the plant and succulent across of the Sweet Mango's showroom, I wanted to check it out but had to leave right after. I will check it out when I have more time. Sweet Mango's products and showroom is so neat and organized. I loved the pineapple design prints on most of the merchandise, it is so nice and colorful. I had to get a pineapple print Turkish towel in green for me and a towel for my mom for Mother's day. Besides Sweet Mango Hawaii, some of the Vendors at the event were Tidepool Love, Kahulale'a, Aloha Dreamboard, and The Writing Desk. I read that it is best to check Instagram/social media's Pineapple Patio page for the upcoming events. What a great idea and great place to get your shopping done!

Look for the pineapple sign on the left side of King Street. There are about 10 parking stalls underneath the patio and street parking on King Street. This place is used for small start up businesses such as clothing and jewelry. It's a good place to have pop up events on the open patio or in their room. Another thing that I'm thinking about is possibly holding a bridal shower here in the future. Looks like a perfect venue to rent out and cater food at. (Not necessary to get catering, but definitely an option) They also rent out their furniture and plants that they have showcased around the patio. Super cute place and hope to be back soon!

As a child, I remember admiring and wondering who lived in this estate that borders Kapiolani Park…read more It was once known as the Winstead House that was built around the early-1900's. The estate was huge as it included horse stables, garages for horse-drawn carriages (later for automobiles), surrounded by undulating and well-manicured landscaping. The estate once extended from the intersection of Diamond Head Road and Paki Avenue to Kapahulu Avenue, around where Jefferson Elementary now stands. Back in 1992, the house was dedicated to the City and County of Honolulu. During 2003 - 2006, the C&C did a lot of renovation to the property and had a lot of concerns about its maintenance and use. Prior to its dedication by the Winstead descendants and the C&C renovation of this property, the Diamond Head Neighborhood Board held community meetings or gatherings. This property was also used as a backdrop to some local television shows..uh, anyone remember Magnum P.I.? To date, I don't know whether or not they have been permitted to continue using the space as such. Currently, there are offices that occupy its basement area by the Parks & Recreation administrative staff. All I can say is that if I worked in this facility, it would be very difficult to get any work done. I'd be wowed by the cool, gentle breezes, sunny blue skies and close proximity of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach. But, that's what makes this property perfect for the Parks & Recreation to own and manage! #306

Place is AWESOME!!! I totally forgot about this location for events too! Shoots!…read more They can hold over 300 people sitting side by side for a screening, move or even music or dancing. But they can also rearrange a sitting arrangement so there is open areas for people to stand and mingle. Then they have the lounge area. That's our favorite! The couches are enormous and the set up is immaculate! They had floor walkers and escorts who helped everyone find seats or direct them where to go. That's as a good thing. Usually m, people have to figure out what to do or where to go at these events, no?! Lol. But this was a once in a lifetime experience for us and it was AWESOME! Of course my son didn't want to watch himself on screen, but, we all loved it! He did well. In fact, they ALL DID! Every single film was done excellent! I wish we could've stayed for the whole thing, but unfortunately we had to leave early because the kids had school the next day. So we left around 9pm. Maybe next time we'll have a better chance in watching our son on screen again. Soon! For sure... Ok that's about it! OH! And the restroom! Oh my... it's an experience to have. Lol! It's amazing! One door for ALL to enter. Then as you pass the main door, your in the lobby of the restroom. Like they have in fancy theaters or auditoriums or hotels. Yup! Only difference is, there's no seats or chairs to lounge on. There's a long marble counter top with about 5 individual sinks. Each side accessible for anyone to wash up. Mirrors along the wall. And then the MENS DOOR for their restroom is on the left and the WOMENS on the right. Ever the bathroom stalls were cozy. Toilet seats were nice and comfy, not those public restroom toilets. But the hotel kine. Just without the extra fancy buttons. It's definitely somewhere anyone should go and see. Especially when they host an event there. OK NOW IM DONE! Thanks for reading! A gigantic tent is erected when the weather is suggesting rain. Otherwise, the audience enjoys gentle trade winds, silhouettes of palm trees, and views of fluffy clouds, gorgeous sunsets, and sometimes... the silvery moon. There's a water feature on the far side of the courtyard, so if the sound bothers you, sit nearer to the entrance and away from the wall. Most events are free - just look for the community events online and print out your tickets! If the event you're interested in is a Brunch, the fee will be posted an you'll get a chance to try specialties of local restaurants, using a ticket system. There's ample free parking nearby and a beautiful, clean restroom on the ground floor of the "IBM Building". The co-ed sinks are a great idea for efficient use of this facility! Check it out!!!
