    Steak Plate
    Xin L.

Came here on a Wednesday and their games were half off. Had a total of ~$40 and we were able to play a decent amount of games. Before we played though, we grabbed a quick bite. We got a steak to share (you could add rice and/or fries for a charge). The steak was pretty good, we got it medium rare, it was flavorful and so were the mushrooms. The sizzling plate also added onto it. It did take a while for it to come out and since they were super slow the wait felt extra long. We also got the cookie skillet to share and that was pretty good too. I would say this was my first time ever having a skillet cookie so I am unsure how it usually is. I just felt that it would've been better if the cookie was a bit more cooked as it all turned into super sweet mush halfway (with the whipped cream and ice cream) in.

Updated review to 4 from 3 stars. Eric was a stellar host upstairs. He multitasked a full house on a Friday night and had time to give us pointers and explain some stuff.

    Dried out burger slider

Reserved their small room for a celebration. Really nice staff, super friendly. Most of the food was good. The sliders were a total let down. I had seen pictures on Yelp and thought they'd be a good add to our menu, NOT so much. Burger sliders were really overcooked and dried out. The chicken sliders were a very thin dried out piece of bread chicken, thought they'd be more of a chicken tender thickness. We threw most of them away. The chicken skewers were delicious. Again, dealing with staff was great.

I feel like the good isn't as good as before. Either new chef or new recipes. Ordered the garlic parm fries and it tasted like regular fries until we got to the end. When you can finally taste the garlic it's covered in a lot of oil. The ribeye steak was okay. I like that it comes on a bed of mushrooms and onions. The steak was medium rare when ordered rare but no issue sine it came on the hot plate. Spread them out and let them sit for a bit it cooked out, they also cut the steak very thin. It was smoking and sizzling but the steak was room temp. Kiki pizza was hot and steamy had to let it cool down before baby could eat it. Loco Coco was good. All foods came out room temp/warm except pizza. Server was really nice though! Came pretty quick with refills.

Took my fiance to lucky strike for dinner and we loved it! The food was really good and the service was awesome, not to mention the great music they were playing last night. I ordered the lemon pepper hot wings and my fiance ordered the bistro bacon burger, and we both shared the mozzarella sticks. The wings were pretty good but I feel like they were pretty small and could have used a little bit more seasoning. But the burger was amazing! It was super juicy and the bistro bacon that was added into it gave it an even more deep flavor, it's juicy and savory and worth the price. I should have definitely ordered that instead haha. The mozzarella sticks were good too and gave a really good cheese pull when we ate it! Our server Chauncey was really nice as well and took really good care of us last night. The vibe in lucky strike is always nice too, they have giant tvs playing which ever game might be on at the time and they have great music playing through out the entire establishment. It was also pretty empty for a Friday night, might be because of the new Dave n busters, so even more of a reason to come here instead! We will for sure be coming back to eat dinner and play some games in the future, especially if we need to plan an event with some friends. Next time I'm definitely gonna order a burger though, or maybe the sizzling steak platter.

Came here for happy hour and it's a good spot if your expectations are not high. Food ok, service is a little slow, and happy hour prices are good. I would come back.

This place has it all. 20+ tv screens one that's as big as my living room. Kids have probably 50-60 different games to play while parents enjoy craft cocktails and high end bar foods at an extremely reasonable price. I recommend any of the burgers, (if you ask they'll make any style you want). My wife goes loco moco but it's large enough to share as are all the entree's. The sushi is surprisingly excellent as well. Be patient as they seem a little short staffed but all in all it's a great experience.

If you're a serious bowler, Lucky Strike may not be for you. However, if you're into playing arcade games, do a little leisurely bowling, and enjoying drinks, bar food, and talking over the loud arcade atmosphere, Lucky Strike might be for you. We ended up here twice in the past two months because we frequent Ala Moana Center. The first time, we went close to closing time and enjoyed playing games. Like many arcades nowadays, games are played with a reloadable card that you swipe at each machine. The games were dirt cheap and only realized that games were half off because it was a Wednesday. Sound familiar? Yes, one of their major competitors in the area also has Wednesday specials. Our second visit started with a meal. Chauncey was our server and provided us with excellent customer service. He was friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. He made sure to check on us frequently, but not hover. The food? Meh. Typical bar food. I had a spicy ahi bowl. It was spicier compared to most other spicy ahi bowls I've had. The kiddos had pizza and sliders. My son devoured his sliders, but the kid's pizza looked and tasted mediocre. The regular-sized pizza was ok. The burgers looked good, and from what I was told, were decent tasting, but not the best. Will I return? Sure. Most likely. I don't think I'll go out of my way to make another trip to Lucky Strike but it sure is convenient when you're at the mall and want to enjoy drinks and games.

The parking is good. It's fenced in which may seem suspicious but I'm sure it's an attempt to protect its customers and the business. This location had everything operating during our visit. The staff is very helpful and accommodating and the business is very clean. It's remarkably tidy in fact! Kudos to the staff. My kids enjoyed the slides the most. There is a lot for kids and toddlers to do here. There is one slide that I was concerned about where it's seemingly a straight drop but it's not but still my heart skips a beat when I think of a smaller child attempting to slide down it. So be warned. We visit during off hours where we nearly get the place to ourselves! And for anyone wondering, they do offer military discount! I would highly recommend this Keiki Kingdom Location above all.

I spent $98 to bring my three kids to Keiki Kingdom on Beretania for two hours, and unfortunately…read morethe experience felt like a bait-and-switch. The lack of customer service started before we even entered the play area. At check-in, I asked for specific sock sizes for my children and was met with complete indifference. It set the tone for the entire visit. Many of the attractions and play areas advertised were either closed, broken, incomplete, or poorly maintained. The zipline course was closed for the first hour of our visit. The train table had zero trains. The princess play area was nearly empty, with no costumes and very few toys. The play kitchen was missing most of its accessories, with only a couple drawers containing play food, and the SMEG play refrigerator was broken. The overall maintenance was disappointing. Several play areas felt neglected, and some equipment appeared to have been out of service for quite some time rather than temporarily unavailable. There were even broken claw machines and other unused equipment sitting around the facility, giving parts of the space the feeling of a toy graveyard rather than a premium children's play center. The facility simply did not reflect what is advertised online. What frustrated me most was the lack of staff engagement. My child became stuck inside the jungle gym, and when I asked a staff member for help, she looked at me and walked away. Whether it was a language barrier, lack of training, or simply not caring, there was no attempt to assist. There were also strange setup choices that made the experience worse. A speaker for the projector was mounted directly above the play kitchen area, blasting audio into children's ears while they were trying to play there. For nearly $100, I expect a clean, well-maintained facility with functioning attractions, stocked play areas, and staff who are willing to help families. Instead, we found broken equipment, closed attractions, empty play stations, and indifferent customer service. I don't mind paying premium prices for a great experience. I do mind paying premium prices for an experience that feels neglected and significantly different from what is advertised. The biggest disappointment wasn't that one or two things were broken. It was that broken attractions, empty play areas, disengaged staff, and obvious maintenance issues all existed at the same time.

I was able to wear my glasses under the mask part, but if you have large frames you might need to take them off or wear contacts. The backpack part wasn't overly heavy as the chest strap helps to evenly distribute the weight. You also end up having noise cancelling headphones placed overtop so you can hear background ambiance, some music and sound effects, and your teammates clearly, and hold plastic controllers that secure to your wrists with straps that have triggers to pull so you can control your hands to pick stuff up. I get motion sickness easily but I had zero problems with the VR. We played the dragon tower room, which is a 6/10 difficulty. Having played a few other (in person) escape rooms this was easy for us and we finished with almost 20 minutes remaining. We chose the lower difficulty because we figured it might take us awhile to get used to the VR, but it was actually quite easy to manage and we would definitely pick a higher difficulty room next time. We had 4 players - 2 adults, one teen, one senior - and we all had fun. Our biggest problems were bumping into each other and having trouble manipulating objects due to lack of spacial awareness. We also did the in-person Egyptian temple escape room they have and that was 7,000 stars out of 5. Absolutely gorgeous, puzzles that were challenging but fun to figure out, and fully physically immersive. I did need to use the flashlight on my phone in a couple of places. SO much fun and if you are just doing one room that is the one I recommend. But the VR was also a lot of fun and we will probably be back to do another VR room! They will be closing soon due to lease issues and will hopefully find another location!! Until they close they have a special on their website where M-F you can get 50% off of games if you have 4 players or more. They do have Kama'aina rates. There are bathrooms available (use it before you start!), and free cups of cold water available in the lobby. On-street parking. You either have to walk up a flight of stairs or there is a (rickety, terrifying, small, but so far safe) elevator - the door closes super fast and you have to push the open door button not just try to physically hold open the door for others, but that is a fault with the building, not with Chambers Hawaii.
