This was the first time we visited Leeward Bowl and may be the last. The process of reserving a lane is rather inconvenient. It's by appointment only and requires a "cash" deposit. You're required to sign a contract acknowledging you will not bring any outside food, other than a birthday cake into the alley. The open lane hours for the weekend are limited and strange, Saturdays:6pm-8pm & 1am-4am Sundays:9:30pm-4am and are limited to certain lanes since they have league bowling during those times as well. We ordered several fountain drinks and 2 order of French fries. Now prepare yourself to hear something pretty unbelievable and disgusting...we found a piece of a roach in one of our drinks! Yes, you read that correctly, a piece of a roach!!! I couldn't believe my eyes we were rushing to get to our next destination so I simply brought it to the concession and showed it to them. The guys looked horrified dumped it out and offered another drink to which of course I denied. He didn't even offer to refund me but I was in a rush and left. The 1 order of fries to almost 30mins to get but did come out straight from the frier blazing hot but I dont think and order of fries should take that long. The positives is that there is ample parking and a handicap ramp to get down into the bowling area which was great beacause we did have a wheelchair in our party. All in all we may return to bowl again without a lane reservation but definately WILL NOT be ordering ANYTHING from the concession again!

Great Place on slow days and try to make sure they don't have league before you will be waiting lol

I ordered uber eats and upon receiving my order my food was completely dry and it look like it was over cooked. I called the establishment and I was willing to drive there and show them how bad the quality of food was. They told me that it was ok for me not to come since they were closed already and they were going to rectify this problem in the morning with full refund. I called the restaurant and the manager who is the chef was completely rude and told me to call uber eats and to rectify the problem with them and hung up on me. Never will I ever walk in or eat from here again. Wasted $60 and felt cheated!

For some odd reason, as compared to when we were in high school, it's so hard to find open lanes at local bowling alleys for spur of the moment bowling nights. Thankfully, Leeward Bowl is the easiest to make lane reservations with. During fall break, we stopped by twice for a night of bowling. The first time we walked in and immediately were assigned a lane and the second time we placed our names on their list to reserve lanes that evening and stopped by before they started open lanes to wait around and have a bite to eat. It's a very family-friendly atmosphere and no one seems to mind our crazy antics (we have a little too much fun bowling). There are automatic bumpers for the younger children or adults that are not-so-great at bowling. There's also a lot of seating, so you don't feel so cramped while waiting for your turn to bowl. On top of the lane availability, the food is delicious and the Aunty that works the counter there is very friendly and is especially great with kids. They also have an electronic system that shows your receipt number to notify you that your food is ready. The bartender is friendly and is quick to serve drinks. The soju is a bit pricey for the size, but it's definitely addicting. I recommend the watermelon flavor and not so much the honeydew flavor (unless you're really into melona bars). I didn't even realize they had karaoke in there (per other reviews) if I knew it would have been game over and I could have serenaded the bar with some of my favorite jams. It was definitely a memorable fall break with family thanks to fun nights at Leeward Bowl.

good times ! thank you always

Always a great time here, Brooke is the coolest worker there! Thank you for always taking care of us !!!

Located inside of a Bowling Alley, Aiea Bowl also has a restaurant that was featured on Diners, Dine ins, and Drives. I'm hesitant with any recommendation from DDD because the others I've tried haven't been great BUT Aiea Bowl's food did not disappoint. I went with combo that came with their fried chicken and loco moco. While the burger patty could've used more seasoning, the portion size was massive and the gravy was hella good. The fried chicken though, easily the star of the show. So damn good. My partner got the oxtail soup, which was alright. To end the meal we got one of their crunch cake, and I wasn't even hungry but we crushed this. Safe to say we enjoyed it. The service here was great. I think the prices match the portions here. It's definitely a place I would never leave hungry lol. Would I eat here again? Definitely!

Shoes were included in the cost. The shoes were newer and clean. The computer screen at your lane to set up your bowlers was really easy to navigate. Not complicated like back in the day. You're able to request the bumpers on the computer screen when setting up your bowlers. There's also ramps for the ball that kids can use, usually located in the corner off to the side. Bathroom is a little outdated but fairly clean. Restaurant inside the bowling alley.

A lot of games and lights, it's like an upscale fun factory. A different vibe from D&B more of an arcade. They do have a pretty cool sports bar section in the back or in the front, depending in which way you entered. This review is not for the games it is specifically for the bar side. The bar is pretty cool. It has a lot of monitors that are playing sports or other programs. The sitting area aint too big (pic) but I imagine very crowded on the weekends. They even have inhouse bathrooms that wasnt too clean but not nasty either. The food is all bar food such as burgers fries tacos fish and chips etc. I'm not commenting on the drinks because I dont drink. The service was kind of slow, but then again we went on a tuesday just before 5 pm. They had three staff that we could see. A bartender, a waiter, and I guess a host. The staff wasn't overly friendly but pleasant. The food was ok not good or bad just average. The prices was manageable specially it being in the mall and the portions was pretty good. I can see how this would be a cool destination to watch sports or a cool option for a weekend cruise spot.

Lucky Strike is located on the second floor of Ala Moana near Macy's. There are dozens of games to choose from and great for children ages 3 and up mostly. My boyfriend and I visited here with his daughter and she had a blast. After almost an hour of games, we got a bite to eat in the dining area. The dining area has several televisions and bar seating for those who would like to catch nfl, mlb games or even UFC fights. I ordered a Caesar's salad and water. We couldn't catch the happy hour specials but I wasn't upset about it because I knew I needed to eat some veggies lol. The one thing that was disappointing was that they did not have any high chairs or booster seats available for children which is ironic because this place is supposed to be child friendly.

I'm not sure what changed but the pizza is not good and turned my stomach, the cookies are incredibly hard, and the hotdogs had bits of cartilage. Now on top of all this - they recently implemented a rule of not allowing any food or drink onto the table in the middle of the bowling seating where in any other bowling establishment is a very common practice. This is a NEW rule and one employee was extremely rude about it. It's understandable but inconvenient now. The only redeeming factor is the price to bowl. The service button on didn't work so my husband walked up to the desk and they fixed it quickly. A standout of the evening was the staff at the food counter. They were super friendly and had lots of smiles. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite match up to their enthusiasm. My husband had a cheese burger and fries, and I had waffle fries and friend pickles. Honestly, we found them underwhelming. The flavors were lackluster, leaving us a disappointed.
