I have been getting my hair cut and styled by Mike for about a decade now and I am still so in love with his work style, ethic, and personality! I have had a couple of amazing hairdressers in my time... But no one can compare to Mike! I absolutely adore him as a person and love his beautiful energy! That being said let me tell you why I am so in love with Mike's work... I have truly unruly, crazy, and kinky, curly hair. He not only washes it every time, conditions, and massages my head/scalp, he dries and straightens my hair to then proceed to dry cut it. I prefer this method to be sure exactly how much is being cut and not have any surprises later... (Last time I decided to deviate and went to someone else for convenience because I live in Henderson and he is located mostly in Summerlin West Las Vegas area, the lady did not wash my hair and just sprayed it with water. She cut off approximately 5 inches of hair thinking she was "trimming" my hair as I had asked and I literally just sobbed as I said goodbye to years of growing out my beautiful curls.) Back to Mike... Every time I leave his salon I feel like a million bucks and look super hot! Well, I feel as if though I do at least which is the most important time! I never have to do anything to my hair when I leave, no oil, no additional styling, nada! Even with other stylists, I've always had to go home to adjust a couple of little things that I preferred to be different from what the stylist did. Not with Mike. Honestly, it's freaking HARD finding someone to get your hair right in a new city! Sometimes you think it will be fine, then you're growing out a shag haircut you didn't consent to for an entire year. A friend referred me to Mike, and I skeptically agreed after six months of not having any cut or color. MIKE IS AMAZING!!! He colors my hair like no other. I have thick long hair which is naturally dark asian hair and he transformed it into luscious caramel blonde hair without drying and damaging it. He does such a great job that even with my overgrown crazy roots, I still get compliments on my hair. DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR DONE HERE! Worst hairdresser ever and dishonest person. Wanted to go Brown and he put a permanent RED through my hair and told me he loves red. When I called to tell him I was really unhappy with the color the following day he kept clearing my calls. H replied to my first text saying he could ask a friend to correct it (as he doesn't know how) and then I asked who is friend was and why I would trust him, and then never heard back again! I paid $400 to have it corrected when I got back to LA! I visited various professional hairdressers before I left Las Vegas to ask their opinion about the Red and none could believe it had been done by a "professional".
