My stylist did a great job with my haircut, and I could tell she's efficient and experienced. That said, I did run into an issue with the color service. The dye left visible staining along my hairline, temples/sideburn area, and behind my ears, which I wasn't informed about until after everything was done and I saw it in the mirror. The stylist did try to remove it, but it didn't come off easily, so I left with noticeable staining on my skin. I understand that things can happen, especially with different products, but I do wish there had been more communication in the moment and a more thorough final check/cleanup before I left the salon, especially since the staining was visible in multiple areas. Unfortunately, I'm not very comfortable waiting for it to fade on its own, and I'm also not inclined to return for a future service. I'd sit there listening to my father and him talk as much shit as possible in the time allotted.       Back then I never understood it.       As I got older I switched from a barber to various salons. The cost of my cuts went from very basic to hours long with a multitude of crazy colors applied. Nuts. I'm happy my mother always taught me to take care of my hair. I miss the man bun days in Boulder sometimes, but I don't miss the 4-hour long stylist adventures.
