Jami, Joni and Maryellen invite you all to stop by and say Hello…read more We did and met Joni, Jami and Maryellen. When traveling with Bill, there WILL be banter. Joni serves more than food. Bill got as good as he gave. This is a roadside cafe in rural Creston, WA. Do not expect or demand Michelin-Star quality food. Cowboy art, country music, local community notices. I cannot speak for the expresso. I like Farmer Brothers. Expect rural Cafe food serving road trip main dishes. Breakfast served all day. One of us got breakfast. A favorite comment from me is, "Pancakes big as your face." or, "Pancakes big as a Baby Moon." However, nobody knows what is a Baby Moon any more. Light, fluffy, delicious with butter. Three of us finished the pancake. A Reuben with fries arrived. Bill ate it all gone, sharing his fries. The fries did not disappoint. Hot, brown, crispy, self- salted. Club Sandwich and fries landed, plus a giant small salad with our chosen ranch dressing. Joni mentioned Jami has a Food Complex. Nothing she creates satisfies her. She feels unworthy to command the grill. Not True! If you stop here. If you eat here, do as I did. Tell Jami you'd travel 1200 miles to eat her meals, just like Tom. Really good food. The Marion Berry pie was the perfect end as The Corner ended it's day. Be sure to thank Maryellen for her steadfast support work out back.

When you come here you can almost always strike up a conversation with others from the area. They're just that kind of friendly sort. We've also never been disappointed in the food or service. Water and coffee always being refilled without you even realizing it. From the outside it looks a bit dated, and inside is about the same. That just means they meet the qualifications for a classic diner. A worthwhile stop.

We were very, very right. It was huge! We had pizza left over! It was still too hot to eat when we arrived at our dining destination, a couple of miles down the road. It was absolutely loaded with cheese and toppings. Everything seemed to be top quality. Excellent flavor. The only thing I would recommend for a first time customer is to make sure that they understand you want them to cook it for you. Otherwise, it will be a take and bake. I had to ask for it after I ordered, but they were very polite and gave no problem at all about cooking it. They have "taken back" on their sign so I think it was our fault. My wife happened to suggest that I should check on this and I'm glad she did. But excellent pizza, excellent service, the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend The Station.

Essentially, it is…read morejust a very large kitchen with a walk up window, and when we stopped by they were busy prepping for a big cater job. But this review is for their wonderful pecan cookies. These were big, soft, crunch-nutty goodness, and even though we had a big breakfast, we devoured all of these back at camp. We will certainly visit again, because their menu looks great.

The restaurant seems to be a family ran business. Sadly, this review isn't good. We went on Sunday around 11:30 AM. The restaurant wasn't busy, only 3 other tables there. We ordered a basket of buttermilk biscuits as an appetizer. My husband ordered a Loaded Breakfast Burrito. My mom ordered the Florentine Benedict with house potatoes. I ordered the classic Eggs Benedict. It took 30 minutes to get our appetizer of biscuits. The restaurant wasn't busy, so I don't know why it took so long. It took another 10 minutes to get our food. 40 minutes for food is ridiculous, especially classic breakfast food! Our server didn't come by with any update while we waited. My husband loved his breakfast burrito! My mom enjoyed her Florentine Benedict. I didn't like my Eggs Benedict. The Benedict serving was huge! The hollandaise sauce covered half the plate! The portion of the smoked ham was generous, but not proportional. The amount of ham was too salty for the meal. My mom and I agreed the hollandaise sauce was overwhelming and bland. I added pictures of our leftover Eggs Benedict, still so much hollandaise sauce left. The hash browns were salty to me, but I am sensitive to salt. I'd come back for the biscuits. The portions were big, but bigger isn't always better. Bene's, another breakfast restaurant down the street is exceedingly better for Eggs Benedict.
