I was last there in Dec 2021: COMPLAINT against Trent Pierce, MD (TP) greater than or equal HIGH…read moreBLOOD PRESSURE; failure to (1) inform patient AND (2) diagnose (Dx) and (3) treat my STAGE 2 HYPERTENSION. "In the USA, over half of the people aged 60 and over have high blood pressure, or hypertension, and maintaining one's blood pressure at healthy levels can be crucial. The American College of Cardiology & American Heart Association (ACC/AHA) guidelines recommend a systolic blood pressure of NO HIGHER than 130 milligrams of mercury (mmHg) Trusted Source for those over 65." My blood pressure was 144/70; (4) my chart did not include that I am STAGE 2 HYPERTENSION. No one, including Trent Pierce, MD advised that it was high. HOW HIGH? According to Mayo Clinic, blood pressure is grouped according to how high it is. This is called staging. Staging helps guide treatment. STAGE 1 HYPERTENSION; the top number is between 130 and 139 mm Hg OR the bottom number is between 80 and 89 mm Hg. STAGE 2 HYPERTENSION; the top number is 140 mm Hg or higher OR the bottom number is 90 mm Hg or higher. As you can obviously see I am STAGE 2 HYPERTENSION; Trent Pierce, MD, failed (1) to inform me, PLUS, TP (2) denied me proper Dx (obvious gross health care negligence); FUTHERMORE, Trent Pierce, MD, failed to (3) treat me for STAGE 2 HYPERTENSION (gross medical health care negligence); Trent Pierce, MD, failed (4) to include it, DX, in my chart/portal that I am STAGE 2 HYPERTENSION; nor did it contain a Dx that (5) I am PRE-DIABETIC; never told me nor Dx me, and never treated me, and not on my chart/portal anywhere. On each visit (Glucose), a nurse pricks your finger to examine for Glucose; the results were consistently in the "pre-diabetic" zone (100-125); last one was 107; not once did the nurse, nor the TP inform patient that I am "pre-diabetic"; gross medical negligence within the medical community, apparently! SUGGESTION: when your blood pressure is taken ask the nurse to give it to you (write it down), AND if the top # is over 130, you automatically know you have HIGH blood Pressure; so when you talk to the Trent Pierce, MD, you know to ask him for a proper diagnosis (Dx), ask for him to prescribe (Rx) proper medication, and suggest that he put that into your chart/portal; consult MAYO Clinic on the internet for a clearer understanding. One more word; BEWARE; last info is to let you know that he charges you up-front (whether you have Medicare and private Insurance or not), before he sees you, and in my last visit I had a balance due back to me, ~ $55; I had to call and ask for that refund; otherwise, it would have stayed there w/Trent forever, apparently, if you follow me.
