    The turkey avocado, my fave!

What a gem that is located on the OUHSC campus! This little restaurant has a wide selection of some fantastic feel good food! Whether you are looking for comfort food, pizza, or a sandwich, this is a great spot to stop by for a relaxing lunch. My personal fave is the turkey and avocado sandwich, but the rotating daily specials are pretty great too! Located in the beautiful new cancer center, the atmosphere in the Healthy Hearth is pretty hard to beat. They have lots of comfortable seating, different types of tables and counters, and there is also a piano that is playing in the background. I enjoy going there for a nice peaceful pause in my day! I almost forgot to mention one of the best parts! The cupcakes here are to die for, so if you are in need of a sugar fix, this is your place to be!

When you walk into the Cancer center you are greeted with the sound of a piano that plays automatically unless someone decides to take over. The Healthy Hearth is at a 10 o'clock direction from the front doors. The windows will be to your right with a view of a couple of fountains and an outside seating area is below. *The good - solid food on most days, a nice view and great variable seating for small or moderate size company, plastic or metal eating utensils, free refills, desserts (I haven't tried them), and spacious. The workers are pleasant and there is also a way to pre-order online with some app called Tapingo(www.tapingo.com/). They also list catering. *The bad - small menu with inconsistent quality and portions, cost is slightly higher than expected ($7-10), TVs are located behind the bar area and are for individuals, small, aren't always clean, have few channels, and don't work most times I've visited. I recommend the daily specials because they will be fresh and quick. If they look/sound good to you that day then you will not regret making the trip over here.

This is the place to go on the HSC campus to get some variety; the menu changes to suit the weather, the holiday, you name it. They will even make large to-go orders to take home for dinner at the end of the day. The staff is amazing, they go above and beyond to provide healthy, comforting, hearty food. One day I asked if they'd bake a cake for some friends who were celebrating an engagement and they were nice enough to agree. Try out the tomato basil soup and grilled cheese, so yummy!

Nasty boring hospital food is a thing of the past. Great food and amazing service is unfortunately not the norm when a restaurant has built in clientele and virtual monopoly. But you get both here. Having to be here daily for my mom's treatment has made me a fan of the place. If you are at the hospital or just in the neighborhood, check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Love the blueberry vinaigrette salad and the southwest Crispy chicken salad. There meatloaf isn't the best but there Burgers make up for it.

All secondary roads are still snow packed so at 11:30 there was only one other couple in the restrauant. The Press is in an old (1920's ?) repourposed building. The interior is comfortable, charming and a bit whimsical. We started with an order of cheese sticks. They were very good and large. I liked that the cheese sticks did not have Italian seasoning in the breading. Jan ordered the chicken fried ribeye with mashed potatoes, cream gravey and green beans. Jan loved it. I took a bite of the chicken fried steak and it was excellent. The green beans were very good. They were loaded with garlic, which I love, but if you're not a garlic fan, I would suggest another side. I ordered the grilled chicked sandwich with waffle fries. The sandwich was good and the waffle fries were excellent. The portions are large and the food quality excellent. The prices reasonable. The menu has variety. I got the Press Cobb salad but asked if they'd turn it into a wrap, and they didn't give me any trouble about it. Easier to eat when you're trying to talk and chew at the same time. The wrap was fresh, filling, decent mix of chicken, bacon, veggies, dressing not drowning in lettuce like some Cobb salads end up being. Waffle fries were crispy when they showed up but cooled off pretty quick once we got into conversation, so eat those first I guess.

It feels a little upscale but not in a way that makes you feel underdressed if you show up in jeans. The staff was super sweet, and our server made great recommendations. I ordered the chicken fried steak, and it was SO good. The portion was huge, and the gravy was chef's kiss. Also, can we talk about the bread for a second? Because I would genuinely go back just for that. I kept telling myself "one more piece" and then suddenly half the basket was gone. The only reason it's getting 4 stars instead of 5 is because the wait for our food felt a little longer than expected. Nothing crazy, but by the time it arrived, we were definitely checking the kitchen door every few minutes lol. Other than that, everything was great. The food was comforting, the atmosphere was nice, and it felt like one of those places that's perfect for catching up with friends or taking your parents when they're in town. Definitely adding this to my list of favorite OKC spots. Next mission: trying the brunch because everyone keeps talking about it.

Started off with delicious deviled eggs and mini biscuit appetizers, which were to die for. The deviled eggs were perfectly seasoned, very creamy, and came with a chili oil that will become a staple ingredient in my own deviled egg recipe from now on. The mini biscuits came with butter, honey, and jam which all paired phenomenally well with the fluffy yet crispy biscuits. All appetizers paired very well with the coffee, which was very flavorful and clearly a much higher quality roast than you typically find at brunch spots. Everyone was extremely pleased with their entrees. I had the chicken friend chicken, which was perfectly crispy and had a delectable flaky better containing moist tender chicken. The service was prompt and friendly, leaving nothing to want. The manager even came over to greet us and wish the groom and happy wedding day. She was so kind and gave the wedding party dessert to congratulate the groom. It was a fried pie kind of think with ice cream, and a perfect way to finish a perfect wedding day brunch with friends in a beautiful, warm, and inviting atmosphere at Lorena.

The serving was huge and easily one of the best values I've found in a restaurant meal recently. The white cod was flaky, tender, and cooked perfectly. Paired with the tartar sauce and a little malt vinegar, it made for an outstanding meal. The fish had a great crispy exterior while remaining moist and flavorful on the inside. The fries were excellent, the service was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. Metro Diner continues to impress with generous portions, quality food, and great service. If you're a fan of fish and chips, this is definitely a dish worth trying. I'll happily be back again.

Just don't go here…read more I've lived here for 5 years and by far the worst restaurant experience I have had in Oklahoma, and if you see my other reviews I'm pretty forgiving and tend to give spots the benefit of the doubt. This is a place worth an absolute flaming of a review.... But they already wasted enough of my time and energy today so I'll just summarize. No management on scene, no hostess, one server, two bartenders and a restaurant at 50% capacity on Mother's Day at 1 p.m. From walking in to having our orders taken, 30 minutes. 45 minutes later our order of roasted vegetable salad, steak eggs Benedict, and sourdough toast arrived. Salad was very well burnt but my mom was trying to be nice and didn't want to walk out. Eggs Benedict came out with two eggs boiled through, a hollandaise sauce with a sour smell and cold steak. I didn't eat it and no one seemed to notice, had it removed from my bill easy enough, but again zero F's given and no management showed daylight. Wife's toast actually arrived 5 minutes after the 'rest' of the food and the only thing hot and delicious. Toast here is $11, so there's that. No one cares here. From the health violations and poor food safety I saw in the kitchen, the multiple tables I witnessed sending back food to the multiple parties puzzled as to why they weren't being sat or once they were entirely ignored... it was so wildly bad I was embarrassed for everyone else having the same experience. Again, don't go.
