Although they were polite, the installed glass is visibly unaligned and I requested they don't continue to finish the install. I can't find another glass company that will reinstall the glass correctly, so at the moment I'm left with crooked, unsealed glass for my new shower. They also cracked a tile, so the glass had to be removed, the tile repaired, then glass reinstalled. Before the full install, they had a piece of glass that didn't fit and had to reorder. I was told this was the fault of the glass production company they use. read more

Update: After the initial review, the business owner responded. They came by the house and inspected the windows and provided a specific date, and some education about the windows needed. They were professional and courteous. The business owner gave a quote for window replacement, then stopped responding. I canceled an appointment with another business in favor of this one, and now need to go back to the first business again. The other place I contacted said they could schedule a quote and then it would be about 8 weeks until I got the replacement windows. So I highly recommend this place if you need something fast and affordable. Cost me under $500 to fix my two separate windows, but don't take my quote as exact. I was a bit hesitant to call The Heart for window replacement (broken seals) with so few reviews, but I needed some work done quickly to meet a real estate contract deadline. One of the big players in Austin basically yelled at me about how busy they were and how it would take AT LEAST a month to order panes, and that's after the initial visit which couldn't be for a week. The other one has a bunch of reviews about how they don't keep appointments and miss installation commitments. So I gave The Heart a call. I am so glad I did. Boris responds quickly, shows up when he says he will -- the next day for the initial visit! -- stays in touch while the panes are on order (a week, not a month), and does high quality installation work. And, because of the way the inspection report was written, he could have sold me on several unnecessary replacements and neither I nor anyone else ever would have known. Instead he did the honest thing which saved me easily a thousand dollars. This is the best of what small business can be. read more

We had a window shatter out of the blue, so I looked on Yelp and found The Heart Glass. I contacted them through Yelp and received a quick response. Boris was able to come out quickly to give me an estimate and provided a realistic timeline due to the limited availability of glass right now (2-3 weeks). Thankfully he was able to get the glass much sooner than expected, and set up time that day to fix the window. We communicated primarily via text which made things really easy. He and his coworker were on time, safe (wore masks) and replaced the window in less than an hour. Based on our windows they were able to remove the window itself from the frame and do the glass replacement out at their truck which was awesome.
