We recently moved to Austin from the east coast. Several pieces of furniture required replacement glass as a result. When we remodeled two 1962 bathrooms, Gilbert and Jenn installed two gorgeous frameless tub and shower enclosures along with a large floating mirror. From start to finish, the communication was impeccable: email follow-ups, quotes and phone calls. After the first tub enclosure was installed, Gilbert called 48 hours later on the weekend (and after the glue had dried), to ask if we had experienced any leaks after the first shower. There had been and he immediately came out to inspect and correct it. Each appointment found CGD to be right on time and both Jenn and her husband were very easy to have in our home. In fact, when the third and final project was completed and they left, I felt like my long-time friends were moving away! After 9 months, Gilbert followed up on the installations. This is my first time using Custom Glass and they were great! A rock from a weed wacker shattered one of my sliding glass doors. From the great reviews on Yelp, I called Gilbert at Custom Glass for a quote. I also called 2 other companies, who weren't so responsive. I got an estimate over the phone and it was much lower than I expected. Once Gilbert came out to measure it, the price went up a little because the window was not a standard size and I wanted low-e glass. It was still a good price! The glass was ordered and came into stock 2 days later. That day, Gilbert was at my house installing it. It looks beautiful and is a perfect match to the other sliding door.
