MY husband and I were married at The Heirloom Inn in August of this year and our experience was nothing short of magical. There aren't words to describe Tiffany, she is a literal angel guiding you through every step of your wedding journey from planning through to the big day itself. Tiffany met with my now husband and I to show us all the beauty her venue had to offer and was more than willing to meet another time with my mom and I to plan decor and day of details. My sister got married at this venue this past weekend and to say it was a dream would be an understatement. I went to the final meeting with Tiffany before the wedding to lock down table decor, decorations, and ceremony details. She listened to what the bride wanted and offered suggestions, then executed. I was a little worried about some of my sisters ideas and how they would translate in reality but Tiffany saw her vision no problem. The day of the wedding I was blown away when we got there. The most favorite day of my life was 6.9.19 at the Heirloom Inn. I couldn't have asked for a better location. It's soooo beautiful, and the staff works their butt off to make sure there are no hiccups during your wedding. Sherry who used to own and run the Inn passed away a month before our wedding. She was amazing. But she did an amazing job leaving the place in great hands with Tiffany. I loved the decorations coordinated with the HIGHLY suggested vendors they gave us. We chose each vendor that they have used for the past 20 years. We wouldn't have felt safe with any other choices, knowing how much experience they have had with each other. Our wedding was so beautiful and perfect. We didn't have any problems (only the heat). Tiffany will answer every single one of your questions and will help with any problems. My husband and I just got married here and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The venue itself is unique, historical and absolutely breathtaking. The gardens and twinkle lights create a romantic setting, and the brick inn is the perfect backdrop for photos. It was wonderful working with Tiffany as well and I could not speak more highly of her. Just came back from The Heirloom Inn for an outdoor wedding. I'll have pix up in a bit. Overall I enjoyed the venue. Though it was very tough finding the actual spot. There is only a little "for sale" sized sign that labeled the location. Several other guests I've talked to also drove passed it back and forth a couple times before finding it. There is an orange building on the left leading to a strip plaza, and only after turning in there you notice that its an ACE hardware store. If you park there, there's a little dirt path leading toward the venue. There is also a small "alleyway" looking driveway that leads to a small private parking lot, but we didn't even see that until after walking in. They set up a jumper for the kids, an open bar where they actually check ID's, dining area, and dance floor/reception area. Everything was nicely decorated though it did seem a little plain at first. After the beating sun went down I saw how beautiful the place is. Little blinking lights in the trees and garden area twinkled alongside the multiple lit candles on the table to create a gorgeous scenery. The banquet staff promptly removes plates and refills our pitchers of water before we're out which is greatly appreciated especially on a hot summer day. The catering was good too and included a menu of: Assorted bread and butter, spring mix salad with a raspberry vinaigrette or ranch, roasted vegetables, fruit salad, mashed potatoes, grilled chicken breasts with capers, and bacon-wrapped fillet mignon served with a creamy horse radish sauce and sauteed mushrooms and onions in a balsamic reduction. I believe the catering service was called "Mother Load" but I can't be sure of that. The event went smoothly and the MC was kind and sincere rounding out the wedding nicely. Congrats to the newlyweds! If only it wasn't so blasted hot that day and if it wasn't in the middle of what seemed like whosville it would've been much nicer. ^_^ read more

We knew immediately that this was the perfect place because Tiffany didn't flinch at all my weird ideas and non-traditional plans! This review is long overdue! We got married here in October 2017. I am so happy on how wonderful our experience was here. Sherry is great, she sassy, lots of fun, and very budget friendly. She made the whole process really easy, relaxing and I felt like she was supportive of everything we wanted for our big day. She took our wedding vision and made it come to life. My lovely wife and I were married at the Heirloom 5 years ago. It was by far the best value we could find in the area. Amazingly the value wasn't the best part. The overall experience was incredible. Sherry (owner) is a doll and extremely experienced in wedding productions. Since getting married there my wife has launched a successful photography business and has shot at the Heirloom twice. All three weddings were spectacular events. Both Sherry and the Heirloom come highly recommended by this couple. If you are looking for venues in this area you own it to yourself to check this one out. I was convinced within minutes of walking in the gate but Sherry insisted that we check out several other venues before making a decision. Not only was every little detail everything we could've hoped for and more, but neither of us nor any of our family members lifted a finger. Had my daughter's wedding there last Sunday and it was super hot! The venue is beautiful and has lots of shade thank God! I cannot say enough about how great it was working with Sheri the owner, she took care of everything at the venue and her staff were excellent and friendly. I am overjoyed that we chose to have our wedding at the Heirloom Inn. While the location is tucked away, once entering the grounds, it is an oasis. The owner and "wedding planner", Sherry is excellent to work with. She helps create the "vision" with the least amount of stress and money as possible. My daughter and her fiance (now husband) selected the Heirloom Inn for their wedding and it couldn't have been better. Living in the Bay Area, our budget could not afford a wedding the size she wanted so we lucked out with the Heirloom Inn! Using the town of Sutter Creek as our base for the weekend, it turned into a "destination wedding" for our out of town family and local Bay Area friends. Sherri was a great help getting all the details taken care of and everything turned out beautiful the day of the event. Her recommendations for the caterers were top notch, and the florist did an outstanding job, however the DJ was a bit of a disappointment. While the weather was a bit warmer than we hoped, as the sun went down and it cooled off, the little lights around the garden came on and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and having a great time. While the Inn is a little difficult to find (we added some signs on the street to help with wayfinding) the only downside to the venue was the restroom accommodations, but that didn't seem to matter with all the happiness going on. If you are planning an outdoor wedding on a budget and want to have a nice affair at a reasonable cost, I would recommend you consider the Heirloom Inn. I agree with most of what my mom (Amy G.) said, except for the part about being disappointed with the DJ. While my parents may have felt that way, neither my now-husband nor I were disappointed by Rob. What my parents didn't get to see was how well he kept the evening flowing. I had no sense of time, and without him keeping us on track, things would have been a lot more rushed and stressful than they were. He also did a great job taking requests, and was wonderful to work with during the planning process in terms of helping us select songs for our special dances / moments and creating a timeline for the evening. The other benefit was that because he has a whole set-up at the Heirloom, we were able to have the ceremony amplified so that guests could actually hear our vows. I love the Heirloom Inn. We got married here in 2005. Sherry was the best -- helpful, attentive, responsive. Our event went off without a hitch. The venue is clean, the gardens are beautiful and her recommendations were awesome. The place is most beautiful at night with the lights in the trees and the atmosphere the gardens take on after dark. Recommend highly to anyone thinking about having a wedding here. I was the MOH at a wedding here this past weekend. I have not a single bad thing to say about this place! Sherry was AMAZING. She encouraged us to feel comfortable and we literally took over the whole place. She was easy to find and had the answers to all my questions. The bride was her #1 priority and making sure she was focused on getting ready and keeping calm. Sherry is a no bs kinda gal and the exact type of person you need in these situations. I've never felt so comfortable and welcome in someone elses place. As for the venue itself, it was beautiful. Even when I toured it with the bride a year earlier it was nice but day of with the lights and decor were over the top amazing. Sherry keeps everything so well maintained, green and blooming. I got married her back in July but my review didn't make it up for some reason. I would give The Heirloom even more stars if I could!!! Sheri is AMAZING! Her planning services come with the venue and not that she would, but she could charge $1,000's for that service right there! She helped with every stage of planning, her recommended vendors are amazing (but you don't have to use them) her staff is attentive but stays out of the way and the grounds are beautiful.
