When The Hidden Exclusive Grill moved to their new location, they added Saturday hours. Thank goodness because I no longer live in Jamestown. I literally drive from Buffalo to Jamestown a few times a year just to get a cheesesteak from this place. The owner's are from Philly and this is the real deal cheesesteak folks! Since the pandemic, they are open for takeout only. I like to pick up my cheesesteak and drive two miles to Lucille Ball Memorial Park in Celoron to eat my lunch at a picnic table by the lake. I have to commend them on the advertising. It works. The woman at the counter was very sweet. I grew up outside philly...what these folks make is decent, but it is not an authentic philly cheesesteak. Philly sauces are never mayo, ketchup, mustard, or miracle whip. Yikes! The sauce is either the beef fat and melted cheese on top of the meat to keep it moist or, if you are going upscale, a bechamel sauce. Tomatoes were plopped on top. Some Onions were raw in there. The sandwich was decent. But no way you can call it original. The fries were fried in a way past rancid oil. They should be able to tell just by the smell. Nasty. For the price and hassle...totally not worth it . Too bad, Would love to find a decent place. NOT RECOMMENDED. read more

This place is an awesome little dive in Jamestown, NY off of Rt. 394 (w 6th st.) Coming around the bend of the bridge you almost miss it. The Philly Cheese steak with onions is a melt in your mouth bundle of savory goodness. My only complaint is they were a little light on the meat for a sandwich over $10 with such simple ingredients. Quality and taste was amazing. Service was great. Hours change seasonally and they will close down early if business is slow. When I've stopped in I've never waited more than 10-15 mins for my Philly and you have to option to pre-order online so it's ready when you get there. Support this Business!!!! read more

I'm a Jersey girl. My cheese steak sub standard is The White House Sub Shop in Atlantic City. The absolute best cheese steak subs you'll ever eat. The Hidden Exclusive was NOT The White House but the sub was delicious! We shared the cheese steak sub with provolone, grilled onions and hash browns with onions. I so badly wanted to try the potato salad but that's only in the summer. The hash browns were very good and complimented the cheese steak very well. My wife and I stopped here on a Monday afternoon a little after the normal lunch time. We were the only ones there but our lunch was wonderful. The cook recommended the Philly Steak sandwich with a twist . You could have it with Brazilian style chicken so we got the 16 inch sandwich 1/2 chicken and 1/2 steak with grilled onions and peppers.
