What a magical meeting! I was walking to my car & she was under a canopy. She invited my dog & I to…read moresit under it as it was SO HOT OUT. We started chatting & I bought some cool items. An arrowhead that I felt drawn to (usually not my thing) & a small but delicious smelling candle! So many cool designs and jewelry etc. However the real interaction was after we were chatting and we went outside she gave me a healing with her crystal bowls! I've had this done before but I literally felt so much energy release from my stomach and I felt really good after that. So I'm not sure what was so different but I felt incredible afterwards. I think she definitely has a very intuitive and healing presence and everything about the visit was magical! I definitely recommend her and I don't think I'm going to burn the candle smell so good I like to fill the room up with scent. Simply an incredible afternoon on a hot day! Beautiful pottery by local Artisans. I was welcomed in by one of the shops owners who promptly asked me if I was there for the Mayor's Birthday... Max is his name and he is a beautiful Golden Retriever, sadly I was unaware of such an occasion but it is duly noted for next year. Gorgeous mugs, bowls and plates are here. If you are like me and prefer one-of-a-kind service ware, make your way up the mountain and peruse their offerings. I got this neat garlic grater that is so beautiful just grate the Garlic and then pour the olive oil into the same dish Voilà your good to go! They also offer pottery classes here as well. One item I wanted to purchase but refrained was the candle that had the scent of rain after it's initial descent on the earth Petrichor - there were 2 choices one with pine forest scent and one with wild flowers... they come in lovely pottery urns (not very large). Unfortunately, I can't remember exactly what they were called, but I definitely remember how refreshing and delicious they were. They're the kind of drinks you keep thinking about long after you've finished them. Places like this are what make exploring local coffee shops so much fun. Great drinks, genuine hospitality, and an atmosphere that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile. The place is huge and is unique in that part of its store is out door, offering a hybrid shopping experience. The shops are separated by sections. There are areas specified for furniture, appliances, kitchenware, clothes, decor, toys and more. Inside they have a higher end boutique style area. They also have super special saving deal days with 20-50% off. My only issue is that the craft, toy and baby clothes are minimal.

The shop is absolutely darling and well curated for all ages. The store is laid out extremely well that you can see alot and navigate all of the gems inside with ease. Not overly cluttered with goods but a really impressive amount of items at the same time. The name is fitting and feels very feminine and girly. I love that they have a variety of dresses, pants, tops, accessories, jewelry you name it. The owner was so sweet and very helpful. Customer service was a 10/10. She helped set up a fitting room for me and even brought alternative items for me to look at and try on when one dress didn't work for me. Seriously such a sweet and lovely woman, love supporting local when the staff/owners appreciate the tourists coming through. Prices were fair and some items were discounted which was nice. I snagged a kimono which was beautiful black and sheer with cherry blossoms and cranes. I total steel of a deal too! When in Idyllwild you definitely need to check out Prairie Dove as she has the cutest stuff and it did get us out of the summer heat for a little bit :)

So many little niches of various items, styles, colors, accessories and Phyllis has them sectioned off into little themes- like one area specializes in ladylike Victorian under things and nightgowns. Phyllis is the proprietor/buyer and has an eye for unique, stylish, creative and eye-catching fashion. Everything from butter soft jeans to sandals, hats, blouses, dresses, jumpers, jewelry, mix-n-match flattering designs, all displayed in a comfortable setting where you can shop in peace, two fitting rooms with comfy chairs for your spouses / friends to sit when you emerge to ask their opinion. I loved the jeans Phyllis chose- white, soft, not overly clingy but comfortably so, and she suggested other colors which I had to buy because I knew I would regret it, especially with the friendly price tags. My boyfriend and I stumbled in during a cold spell Sunday looking for…read moreweed, but, as it is called cigar lounge there was cigars, uniquely crafted knives and fantastic display of taxidermy (really rare doc martins btw) but no weed. Rob was kind enough to explain the cigar smoking area and how he came about working there. He's really friendly and the lounge was beautiful and tranquil. The taxidermy is incredible though, great decor. I don't know how to smoke cigars, if I did, I'd have definitely stayed there for hours. It's beautiful really, and they're open late, til 8! Check it out locals and visitors but be mindful to call ahead if you're driving from far I believe Rob said it's open Friday through Sunday so double check
