Be aware, if you purchase a ring here, the "lifetime guarantee" only covers stones falling out and "manufacture defects". I bought this ring for $65 two weeks ago. I've only worn it about three times and the metal completely bent. I was told it had a guarantee when I bought it, so I brought it back to the shop to have it fixed, just to be told normal wear and tear isn't part of the guarantee. This is NOT normal. I just purchased this ring. The person working there today was kind enough to use a tool to try and get it back to a circle, which helped a lot. If you are buying a ring here, please be aware they are extremely cheap and malleable and ARE NOT WORTH THE PRICE. Hoping this review helps others, since the assurance that this could be fixed wasn't fully explained. read more

I'm so glad that I was able to experience such a beautiful session here. To start off, as soon as i arrived the girl at the counter was so nice and helped me understand so much about everything I was curious about. So knowledgeable and sweet. Then, i walked through the shop to see all the goodies they have to offer. To be honest I'm not familiar with a lot of it but I'm definitely going to learn more now that I've been. And lastly was my session with Liz. Simply amazing and life changing! Highly recommend. I cannot put into words what i experienced. What i Can share is my feelings and overall mood afterwards. Great place to purchase thoughtful gifts for spiritual people in your life. I have been going to The Lovely Lotus ever since they were in a very small upstairs unit a few blocks away. They keep great stock of crystals, candles, incense, and related items. The pricing is fair, and what I would expect to pay for quality. While I do wish they were open more hours, I think their new downtown location is great! They do not have botanica items, and I kind of wish they did so I don't have to drive to Montclair.. but maybe in the future they'll consider adding more variety to be more inclusive of different spirituality practices. No complaints though. Happy to have them in town! read more

I've had The Lovely Lotus on my list of stores to visit for a while now. It's been challenging to locate metaphysical/spiritual/witchy shops in the Inland Empire, and whenever I did a search, this shop was always one of the best reviews. The main challenge to getting to this store -- and the reason it took me so long to get here -- is that navigating Downtown Redlands can be crowded and stressful if you go during a busy time. Finding parking is a struggle, and often times when I arrive during one of those periods, I just end up endlessly circling trying to find parking before giving up. I decided to try going with my daughter on an early Sunday morning, which ended up being a great decision. We got there right before the store opened and the town was quiet with plentiful free parking everywhere. The shop itself was really lovely and included a lot more items than I was expecting, given how small the shop is. (I believe they are expanding into a bigger space near their existing shop, which is amazing!) There was a good mix of crystals, jewelry, incense, cards --- truly just a beautiful mix of things, making it a great stop for anyone shopping for themselves or for a gift. The prices were incredibly reasonable, which was a nice surprise, as so many shops of this nature that I've visited in other cities have incredibly inflated prices. The woman working was very kind, warm, and helpful. When my daughter had a question about a particular crystal, she went to find a card with information on it for her to read through, which we both appreciated. Will definitely be back....on Sunday mornings only for parking/crowd reasons. read more

I'm sorry to say my opinion of this shop has changed since its opening. When it first opened in its old location, it was so refreshing to see space for tarot, complementary healing modalities, crystals, divination tools and various things that would appeal to someone who was "SBNR" in what is a very, very churchy town. That has changed now-more mainstream items are part of the merchandise assortment, which is for me off putting. It is a spiritual shop and of course spirituality encompasses different things to different people, but if you have more of an esoteric leaning and are protective of that, you may want to take this under consideration. I mention it because I know I and many others will drive a long way for a metaphysical shop where authenticity is key-I appreciate knowing if a place is worth the trip. Our friends asked us why we moved out of our Pasadena condo to Redlands. Well, for one thing, we got a house out of the deal for the same money (!) but we also got something even more interesting: a town that is transitioning to something very special. The train just got here, the airport just opened -- and there's a pulse in Redlands that isn't too small town or too metropolitan. It's what's known as Urban Village. A diverse town that's diverse enough -- -- to offer a store like Lovely Lotus. Across from that charming bookstore is this little shop that is full of stones, incense, and a frankly friendly staff. They're not reinventing the wheel here but they are giving this type of store a nice turn. It has plenty of product but never feels overwhelming. I find myself coming in for 1 item and leaving 6 hours later rejuvenated with all the genuine conversations & universe picked items I truly needed. Nope, nope, nope This place is nicely set up and displayed, however it's EXTREMELY over priced my husband literally found about 80% of the items on Amazon/ Etsy while i was looking around and for a way better deal (way better) like some items were in bulk. Some items aren't even priced and I had to keep asking the price of of items it was annoying. won't go back, and have already warned others of the high prices....... I'm all about supporting small businesses, but these prices I can't. I was super excited to check this place out bc I've lived in Redlands all my life. So, finding out that a metaphysical shop opened up near me was very sweet news. Upon arriving, (my first visit), the girls there were chatting and I think I came in during a moment where I disrupted their conversation. To me, this was no big matter but I did feel weird that it took them a while to ask me if I was looking for anything (I can sense a type of awkwardness). One of the girls was very nice answering my question in regards to a price of a certain item. But overall, my first experience was okay. I was hoping that I would be greeted with higher spirits and possibly be approached with genuine curiosity as to why I visited their shop. (I left with a beautiful incense box/ holder though!) The 2nd time I visited (01/04/2022) around 1-2 pm, I quietly entered the door and one of the girls was sitting down was just looking at her phone. Although she was on her phone, she did look at me but she didn't welcome me (even though we made brief eye contact). note: There were 2 people who entered while I was inside and the employees welcomed the two other ladies. This small observation made me feel a type of way just because I work in customer service and I do take know if the employee(s) greet me or not. While I was looking for some crystals to take home, never once was I asked if I was looking for anything specific or if I needed help. I feel like there was a bias and when I was getting cashed out, the girl who was helping me seemed distant. I would have appreciated a small effort to strike a conversation with me. Overall, I feel as though my experience here wasn't the best so I, unfortunately, will not be returning here. I've been to other metaphysical shops that have made me feel way more welcomed. This place didn't quite reach that same mission/feel-good space most metaphysical shops advocate for. (in my opinion) I do think a lot of the items they had were beautiful, the layout was stunning and they had plenty of things to look at/ purchase.
