Came to this restaurant tonight for the first time. We decided to sit at the bar because we wanted to start trying different wines. Travis the bartender was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I'm completely shocked and delighted at the presentation and execution of the chefs menu items. If you go to a big city and go to an incredibly great restaurant, this is the kind of food you'd eat. What a great find! Food was all exceptional as was the service. Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted even better. We got the bread service (all carb lovers have to get it ) and Caesar salad which comes with homemade Parmesan crisp. (Just be aware- they charge $15 for splitting a plate- even for a $10 salad!) For mains we got creole prawns and tomahawk pork chop. Both were delicious and plentiful and accompanied by vegetables and a starch. And the prices were reasonable. We will definitely be back! Our fist time here. Rebecca was our server,she was very pleasant and informative. We started with the hideaway shrimp appetizer, 3 large shrimp over an arugula salad, the orange basil dressing was delicious. Then I had the the teriyaki tuna. Very friendly and efficient. But honestly the worst pork chop i have ever eaten. Dry overcooked and could not finish it because i could not cut it and it was also so dry. I asked for med rare. The food is fresh and prepared in lots of different ways. We ordered tuna, scallops, and shrimp as our 3 meals. All were exceptional with unusual sauces that complemented the seafood. Wow! This place was amazing! The owners were very friendly and welcoming and went table to table to chat and discuss the menu which was such a nice touch. Began with the artisan bread and we both said it was some of the best homemade bread we have ever had, (and that siracha butter was incredible). I got the chicken and my fiancé got steak tips, both were great! Some of the most tender chicken I've had in my life. Sides were exceptional as well. We ended with the crème brûlée cheesecake ( combining two of his favorite desserts) and that was also delicious.
