The location is. If you're a local and you get off of work you buy your first drink and your second one is free. (you must let them know you just got off work) Bartenders are old school and kind of rude at first. If you are a girl I would not recommend going by yourself take a guy with you the bartenders will act more appropriately. Bartender ignored me and when I kindly asked for assistance, the Bartender spoke in an unpleasant, impolite manner. I asked what was wrong. Bartender replied "you don't have to stay here." Hideout is the best bar in Laughlin!! Brian & Shelly are the best bartenders around. This is my go to place :)

This Hideout is definitely a locals type place, however, they ( and since I am a local I will make it a "we" ) welcome everyone. The best thing about the Hideout is that there is a pretty small level of drama for being local, it stays at bay which is good. Plus since don't have food, having pizza downstairs is awesome and there is also Minatos next door ( same entrance ) which rocks. Star, Rude Ron and Brian are like part of the décor they have been there so long. Its nice to see consistent faces and people who appreciate your business. They aint perfect, but do provide for some interesting entertainment sometimes! I don't do Kareoke, so I stay out of the place Friday and Sat nights. I prefer listening to the digital juke box instead. The gaming is fair, I see and hear about the wins, however, my luck blows so I am happy with breaking even. But they do have from 5 cents to 2 dollar video machines so different budgets can afford to play a little Sunday Football is great as they have all of the games and the volume of one game at all times throughout the day. Brian also does some food on Sunday during the games ( dogs, Elk Chili, etc ).) Recommend this place to others, check it out for yourself. read more

Man I was in there tonight to watch The Eldora race ask the guy that was behind the bar twice if he could turn it to FS1 he ignored me both times. my wife tried to get a drink he looked at her walked away got on his phone. First off racist undertones , be careful anyone that does not not look southern/mid-western they will avoid you. Me and my waited 25 minutes to be served. We awaited our turn for the karaoke but it never came since Corey the DJ of the night sympathized with the music with racist undertones that his friends were requesting continuously and he was playing. The place is dead! The bartender was rude and grumpy! My boyfriend and our friend ordered beers on Special ($3 not bad). I played poker on the bar and he didn't comp my soda! This is a great place for casual night out. Drinks are good, priced right and bartenders Ron and Star are funny and very friendly and nice. Bathrooms are cleaned throughout the night to keep it Tidy. Only reason I held out the fifth star is because Kareoke out these is too loud and it catches up with you as drunken folks butcher a perfectly good song. I highly recommend this bar. read more

So...this morning we called looking for the Big 10 Network. "yes!" Was the resounding answer. We get here and the subscription had not been renewed. Bummer. However, we stayed because Barbie did everything she could to help us. She kept the small guide screen up so we could at least watch on something bigger than our phones, talked to us, cheered with us, gave us the wifi password and made us popcorn even when they don't serve food just to try to help us. It pains me to leave this review because the one star is for one reason only... the bartender. We came here on Saturday night (5/21) after my wedding with a large group. Everyone was having so much fun dancing and singing Karaoke. The location was convenient (we walked from the Aquarius) there was an outside patio with a view where you could smoke and plenty of tables inside. It wasn't too crowded and the patrons that were there were all friendly and happy. But the bartender was super rude and giving everyone a hard time. He overcharged my friend and when she tried to talk to him about it he threw a stack of receipts at her and told her (paraphrasing here) to prove it. One friend after another came to me complaining about his attitude so we left. All 20+ of us. Bummer. :( read more

My husband and I had such an awesome time here. Yes it's a local spot and we were told this is where everyone goes that works in the service industry but as an out of towner I was treated with respect ans it was nice to "hideout" from the very overcrowded casinos this weekend. My friend and I are here on vacation and wanted to go to a sports bar to watch the Anaheim Ducks hockey game. We walked in and they had all March Madness games on the tv's. We ordered our drinks and asked the bartender if she could turn on the game on one of the tv's (they have a ton). She said "I'll see if I can find it." We watched as she never tried to turn it on and never came back to us to say anything. We would've understood if she couldn't turn it on, it would've been nice to hear that instead of nothing happening at all and being ignored about it. Not to mention they had the same basketball game on 4 channels. We walked out and went to the sushi place next door, which is fabulous by the way. Won't ever come back here when we come to Laughlin, seems like a "locals only" bar. read more

Had a great time. Went to Laughlin for my bday and wanted to go out other than expensive casinos. We went walking and found this Hideout. Music was loud but ok. Mixture of everything but to each his own. Reading the reviews I was nervous. Great service. People came and went. Bartender called us a cab so we didnt walk to Harrahs in the rain. Stopped in here for a couple of drinks with THE boyfriend. Very appropriately named "The Hideout Bar," we couldn't find the entrance. Went back and forth on the ground floor looking for the entrance ... nope. Went to the second floor, kind of paced back and forth looking for the entrance ... until we discovered it shares its doors with Minato's Sushi. Hideout to the left ... Minato's to the right. Sheesh ... hadn't even had any cocktails yet either!! It was empty, except for two guys at the bar when we went in ... around 4pm on a Friday. THE boyfriend immediately started playing the poker machines at the bar, so he got free cocktails ... mine weren't free. You can order sushi from the bartender and they will deliver as you have your cocktails. We ordered some sushi ... wasn't impressed by it ... i guess i'm kind of jaded, being of half japanese descent ... oh well ... and I thought it was expensive. $30 for two rolls. But the good part is THE boyfriend won on the poker machine so the sushi was basically free. The bartender was a very cute, sweet girl. Sorry, I guess this review is half for The Hideout and half for Minato's. read more
