Unfortunately, my interactions have consistently been negative, leading to a frustrating experience.Rudeness and Attitude:Each time I call, Juan has been exceptionally rude. He often hangs up on me without resolving my issues, which is not only unprofessional but also disrespectful. The High Road Program has good intentions and does good work, I assume. However my "counselor" was a vortex of educational compromise. I am not going to name them but, for more on this, and I do mean moron, you will know if you got the same counselor I had when they repeatedly say "you know what I'm sayin" when they can't articulate thoughts effectively. It's a lot! Regularly contradicting themself. Overly repetitive with nothing substantial to say. Good Lord save you if you ask for explanation or clarification on what they are reading to you. It seems counterproductive to have a addiction treatment "professional" that struggles through reading the Suggested Approach of the slides as opposed to actively educate. Not to mention their remedial ability to pronounce routine recovery terminology or speak knowledgeably about related subjects, but when you find out that an AA in Liberal Arts from a community college is sufficient to meet the employment requirement it makes more sense... Man where do I begin, I walked into this place like damn this is going to suck and no doubt it did in the beginning. I was sent here to complete a 18 month 2nd offenders program. I wouldn't have completed If it weren't for the amazing staff who encouraged and motivated me throughout the process. I began to listen and see the countless stories of DUI's before me and who continue to walk through the doors. Juan, Candy, Timbre, and Christina never gave up on me. It's obvious that we aren't meant to have the time of our lives here. I drank and drove and got caught. I will say personally that if you follow the program as it is laid out, you will succeed. I had an 18 month course and never did I feel like I was being scammed. The counselors I had always worked with me and I even got a chance to make smaller payments at one point because I couldn't really pay. I love the high roads program. This is my third DUI my two other DUIs I did it somewhere else not as great as the high roads program candy is the best as she is my counselor. I have learned my lesson and they do payments very well. the office is great. It's always clean. They have a great receptionist. I feel like I'm always being treated with respect when I go there when I call everyone's always very friendly and I do recommend coming here for whatever you need to be there for. read more

Signed up for this program, have not missed any classes. Been consistent with payments, and been on time. (Even though time on paperwork says 6, you need to be there 10-15 minutes before or you will not be able to attend.) Did my introduction/onboarding interview with ANTONIO MURRAY. I was given false information about the rescheduling fee. Called in to see if we can work something out given the situation, I was told it was my fault and I still owe them more money. They also like to preach about how they are here to help, as far as I can see they are here to take you for your money. One of the most unprofessional places I have ever been to. As soon as I am finished I will never return here for anything in the future and as far as a recommendation I will steer people away from this money hungry spot. read more

Shady place the employees there seem to care about the money more than anything else. Yes I messed up and caught a DUI know better, I was dropping a friend off at home because he was shit ass drunk, and wanted to drive home, yes we should have taken a uber I'm mad at myself because I didn't! I did this to myself in this situation, now on to the mess! They charge you $20 dollars when you miss a class ie absence and to reschedule/make up a class is $25 dollars! What gets me is how in the hell are they going to charge you for an absence?! I do have a job you know! Some Saturday's I can't make it, you would think they would take that in consideration but no they're all about nickel and dimming you to death!! When I first signed up in Jan I had to work in Las Vegas for a week for a industry show. I called Christina front desk clerk and told her my name, phone number, and the name of the instructor. You would figure that she would pass along the message to my instructor, but no she didn't and they are very unprofessional discussing other people's business out in the class. Ever heard of HIPPA? So one day I get called to the front desk to learn that I've been charged for (3) missed classes, (4) rescheduling's and a leave of absence. (3) missed classes $20 each (4) reschedule's $25 each (1) leave of absence 30 (1) one hour make up $25 due to the fact I was paying for the class for that day and came in the class 5 minutes late. The instructor kicked me out even though they was still passing the roll sheet around and were bullshitting! There's is so much grifting of the customers it's ridiculous! Another time dealing with Christina who is RUDE and unprofessional as FUCK stated to me about the $145 payment, then she added "oh we gave you a $50 dollar discount on the down payment of $200 dollars!" and had the nerve to try to throw that in my face! Even though I still had to pay the $50 dollars! Actually I didn't because I said fuck it Owari masu Dittei ikkei! They continuously fuck over their customers on a daily basis, then play dumb when they are caught and called out on it! At the end of the day, I'm a customer and paying for a service and not your higher than thou attitude and shitty, shifty, shady, grifting ass behavior! One thing I hate is grifters! So now they reported me to the court saying I didn't follow the rules and pay them. I'll be frank with the judge and explain to her the situation that was with "The high road program!" Like Candy likes to say "we've been in business for 50 years!" More like you've been ripping people off for 40 years! Honestly if you find yourself coming here or any of their other locations in SoCal do yourself a favor and DON'T! Lastly if I and I won't go there they want to charge me $275 dollars to re sign up nahfucdat! They can kick some rocks with that noise! Great program and staff that work here. Counselors do a good job in teaching the classes. They also care about the individuals enrolled and helping us succeed. They make sure we are taken care of and if there's any financial problems they are there to make plans for us when needed. The staff is there to assist us and make sure we comply and complete what is needed for us to move on successfully. The program is easy to follow and it's truly a way to help with an problems you might have with the law and with any personal addictions. High road is cool . Everyone that works here is very mellow and easy to talk to . They are always flexible with payments and rescheduling. I've been trying to figure out what air fresheners they use here because the smell is pretty strong like raspberries. Its one of those smells that will forever remind you of dui school. The program is easy peasy , thwres no homework or assignments, just show up with a decent attitude and if the teacher is in a good mood they'll let you go early . read more

I honestly can't say enough good things about this program. They might be tough and show a little tough-love but that's because the courts expect things to go by the book. What's great about this program is everyone is treated equally, there's no nepotism or any non sense. They're here to help you get what you need to get done, DONE. What a bunch of crooks! My son was taking court ordered classes at High Roads. He completed 10 of the 52 classes and then had to stop because he had to move out of county. He told them at the time why he needed to stop going there and that he was intending on completing the classes in the new county. They didn't give him any paperwork or advise him of what needed to be done to get his file transferred. Fast forward, unfortunately the court paperwork wasn't written up correctly and didn't show approval of the transfer, so my son thought he had to continue taking classes in LA County. So he went back to High Roads to re-enroll. They quoted him: $30 re-enrollment fee PLUS $75 for 4 missed classes! (FYI - their fees are very clearly posted in their office that missed classes are $10. So why $75? It should be only $40!) He asked them but they had no answer for that. In addition to being out of work right now (which he told them), my son would also have to drive 1.5-2 hours in each direction to get to the classes every week. They didn't seem to care. They just kept saying that because the judge ordered the classes, only he could excuse the missed ones. So my son made another 4-hour round-trip to court and got the paperwork from the judge that specifically authorized my son's transfer to his new county. But he still didn't have any paperwork from High Roads. So when he went to sign up for the new class in his new county, they told him that they needed to get all the records and transfer from High Roads. So today, my son made ANOTHER 4-hour round-trip back to High Roads to get a copy of the file so that he can have the 10 classes that he has already taken credited at the new location. High Roads wanted to charge him the $30 transfer fee (understandable) AND THEY STILL WANTED TO CHARGE HIM FOR THE 4 MISSED CLASSES (at $75, mind you, not $40)!!!!! So now, being too late to see the judge today, he has to go back to court again tomorrow (another 4-hour round-trip), to ask the judge to give my son a specific minute order that excuses all of the missed classes, something the judge has already approved and that was implicit in the paperwork my son already has, just so that the crooks at High Roads won't charge him that $75. At this point, gas costs alone are adding up to much more than $75, but if he doesn't get the file transferred, he's going to have to retake those 10 classes, which would cost another $250! To add insult to injury, they also had no compassion at all for my son's financial situation. They said that they work on a sliding scale, but there's so much red tape that you have to jump through hoops to get reduced pricing. Plus it's also the principle of the thing. Why should they continue to take advantage of people and steal from them in this way? I'm sure my son isn't there first one they've done this to. Yes, my son has made mistakes, and he is paying for them. That's the court's job. But High Roads seems to be more interested in bleeding their clients dry than helping them heal. I strongly urge anyone under court order to STAY CLEAR OF HIGH ROADS! They are crooks and they don't care. read more

LORENA is the front desk receptionist in the mornings and she is awesome!!! She always does her best to take care of your paperwork and if youre cool with her she'll send your paperwork to the DMV as soon as you finish your classes .... i only had one complaint with this program beware of the grouchy old lady with pink and purple hair on Monday mornings she thinks shes smarter than everyone in the world and will try to belittle you if you let yourself just dont put up with her ridiculous shananagans and put her in her place let her know shes no one to think she can just talk to anyone she wants and treat them disrespectfully ... the good thing is that Lorena helped me out and put me in another class with a cool teacher named Mike and i was also able to make up 2 other classes with a teacher named Nancy im overall happy with the outcome and Lorena and Janets help in the reception in the front desk you will be too if you need to complete your DUI classes this is the place just ask for Lorena in the mornings and Janet in the the evenings to help you and you'll be satisfied with the service read more
