I am not big on leaving reviews but feel inclined to go out of my way after an employee at The Higher Path went out of his way for me. Tyler at The Higher Path went far beyond what was expected and deserves a ton of praise for his customer service. Yesterday I drove and met Tyler for the first time in person at The Higher Path. I showed up because my favorite brand, Jeeter, had posted on their Instagram that they would be at the Higher Path from 3-5pm. When I showed up Jeeter was not there for the event and Tyler had heard nothing about it. Tyler asked the other employees about the event and nobody had heard of any jeeter event as well. I told him it was on the Jeeter Instagram and then proceeded to tell him how big of a fan I was of the Jeeter brand. He was a fan of Jeeter like me (not quite as big as me haha) and he could tell I was bummed that Jeeter was not there, he apologized on their behalf (which he didn't need to do), and helped me with a purchase which I only did because I wanted to give Tyler some business after all his help. Tyler was a pleasure and he helped make the best of the situation by taking the time to talk with me. Well today, Tyler went over and beyond for me, he was able to find my cell number by going through everyone's past purchases yesterday (he didn't know my name). He found my order, gave me a call to let me know that I was in fact right and there was a scheduling issue and notified me that Jeeter had shown up today and was there right now! I was not able to make it back to the higher path in time to meet the jeeter team so Tyler gave me the jeeter reps info so that I could contact them directly. It is really special that Tyler went out of his way to contact me and make me aware of the situation because he knew how big of a fan I was. I really appreciate this type of customer service and customer appreciation. I am a super loyal customer (as you can tell by my allegiance to the jeeter brand) and will now be an even more loyal customer to the higher path because of their extraordinary employee! I was a first time customer (first time smoker, actually) and the customer service was superb. Product was also pretty amazing. However, I am having second thoughts on whether I should come here again. I told the guys at the shop that I was completely new to this, but I already knew what I wanted based on some googling (lol, I know). The bud tender somehow convinced me that that wasn't the best choice and recommended something else instead. Though I was very happy with the product, I didn't need that much and I also wasn't told the price until it came time to pay. I'm not a penny pincher by any means, so I didn't complain and just paid, but I knew I was being taken advantage of. Second thing, I was told their debit reader (or whatever is called) doesn't accept odd numbers, so it would round my total from 67 to 70, and he'd just give me $3 dollars from the register. And he did, but upon looking at my bank statement I was actually charged $73. Odd, given the explanation I was given when I was paying. So yeah, if you're new to smoking, go with someone who knows what they're doing. Otherwise you will likely be taken advantage of like higher path did to me. read more

What a great selection! After experiencing other dispensaries that are sleazy, this place is a classy Very helpful staff. Gorgeously decorated, original artwork on walls, a really great experience overall. They have a fantastic rewards program as far as discounts when you've bought a certain amount over time. They didn't have what I wanted once, I emailed them, and they called me when it came in. Almost no one does that anymore! I highly recommend this place. There is surrounding free residential parking galore, but after a certain time it's permitted resident only and you will get ticketed so check the signs. read more

I was in for a pack of pre-rolls, and they charge SIGNIFICANTLY more for the same brand I just bought -- $10 more to be exact. If you're looking for a lot of assistance & don't mind spending more for the same product, this is a good little dispensary for you. read more

If you want your bud to taste like laundry detergent and spend $30 on an 1/8th, this is the place to go. Only 1st time patient deal is 10% off which is basically just tax. Ambience is cool which is what the extra star rating is for. Security loves to treat you like a criminal, they were nice seeming but made me feel uncomfortable in the end. Its rated the best in LA but I think its only rated that by the owner and staff. Would NOT recommend 10/10. read more
