I have been a client of this practice for almost five years and early on it was pleasant to come here, but most recently things have changed starting with the front desk. It's like they are easily aggravated over simple questions or billing/insurance issues or questions. Then I noticed that Dr. Hill was easily aggravated with his own staff or me. It was like I was afraid to ask too many questions as his demeaner would change as to show he was getting irritated having to explain procedures etc. I had always discussed wanting to redo my old veneers as they were too big for my mouth and even Dr. Hill agreed, but he asked me to show him a photo of my dream teeth and he agreed to make them close to the photo I chose. Well come the days of trying to prep for the final veneers and something was just not right. They were fitting really big ones in my mouth and they were hitting my bottom teeth terribly and I felt I couldn't eat at all. I explained my concern, but felt I wasn't really being heard. The temporaries I was wearing fell off three times because they kept bumping badly into my bottom teeth. One day the temps fell off and another dentist on staff helped me by making newer shorter ones and even gave them pretty lady like curves and a pretty white color. I felt happy with my temps! Then came time for the permanent ones to be seated and of course being out of it on mouth sedation and just sleepy from the long procedure I was not able to fully comprehend the permanent ones that were placed. I asked the assistant If I could have time with them. I was told that if ever I was not happy I could either have them remade or fixed to my liking, so I wanted to take a little time to get adjusted. A few weeks later I had gone in for a cleaning and the other doctor was there and I asked for her. I expressed my dissatisfaction with my new teeth and was told I could speak to Dr. Hill and even make an appointment to fix or replace them which i then scheduled at that time. The day of my appointment I ran about 10 minutes late and was told when I arrived that Dr. Hill had gone home and that the other doctor that was there that was going to assist him to get the curves/length right, was busy as well. I couldn't believe that something so important was easily disregarded and I was told to call back later to schedule again. Again, total attitude and ugly facial expressions made at me by the front desk. I waited some time to call back, but discovered that all my records were sent to my email as if to say they were done with me. They somehow forgot that I had just paid 10k for these veneers. I called a few days ago to ask them what was going to be done as that my issues had not been resolved yet and I was told that Dr. Hill would call me back. Oh boy did he call me back. Let me say in all my years of going to a few different dentist I have never been spoken to in such an unprofessional way. Basically I was told that he had to put my temps back on 3 times and there was nothing else he could do to fix my permanents and I had exhausted his patience and he was finished with me and to go find another dentist to fix his work. I said ok, but please give my money back, so that I can pay another dentist and was told "absolutely not". So here I am out 10k and bad teeth that are painful to chew at times because they are too big in my mouth and hit the bottom teeth and when I smile the top teeth completely cover the bottom teeth and if gives the look as if I have no bottom teeth and just gums as you can tell from the photos. The one thing he said is, "if I had wanted prettier slender teeth I should have left them longer to begin with". Every time I smile I cover my mouth as I'm embarrassed. I would strongly suggest that if anyone is wanting veneers please go somewhere else and save yourself the grief. There are plenty of great cosmetic specialists in the area and unfortunately I put my faith in the wrong dentist who wasn't a true specialist. read more

After many, many, many Dentists in many, many, many cities and States (military family - moved, I am very grateful to have found THE BEST. No doubt. Dr. Hill's skills are most certainly worthy of praise, but if you add to those skills the respect, care, compassion and patience he has for his patients then you do know that you are very fortunate to have found such a professional in your area. Additionally, Dr. Hill's staff ALL are just incredible! All my life I have been one of those patients TERRIFIED of the annual visit to the Dentist and have expereinced first hand too many awful and some traumatizing experiences that left me with a huge degree of anxiety every time I needed to see the Dentist. I could not sleep for a full two nights before my scheduled visit and often times cancelled just out of fear. As a result my issues would become complex and required a more involved procedures, etc. which next time made me more fearful... A vicious circle. I had a dental emergency a few months back and ended up in a Dentist office of someone who was sadly lacking in care and skill. In terrible pain and not knowing what to do, I listened to a dear friend who referred me to Dr. Hill. I can only say, thank goodness I listened. Dr. Hill's staff worked me in on an emergency basis and on leaving his office I was able to eat and rest, pain free. I have had several visits with him since to correct and repair some other work and I can honestly share that I do not experience anxiety at all. My treatments with Dr. Hill that have included a root canal, a crown and other complex dental procedures have been performed with supreme skill. ever mindful of pain management and care. I can't speak more highly of him and his practice. Additionally, my husband is treated by Dr. Chumbley at the same clinic and he is also a wonderful dentist and my husband will write his own review based on his experience with him. If you are looking for a great practice with a great Dentist who cares and who will NOT take advantage of you, but who will be reasonable and honest, this is the place for you. Even if I have to drive a great distance to see him I would keep Dr. Hill as my Dentist. I do appreciate and respect him so very much. He is a great Doctor. Thank you! read more

Dr. Hill is a master at what he does. I came to him after two dentists had said I would lose a tooth. He was able to not only save the tooth but also replace six crowns of previous cosmetic dental work that improved my appearance tremendously. And he did this all at the end of the year in between Christmas and New Years so save my insurance benefits before they expired! I would recommend him to anyone seeking a dentist that has the technical and cosmetic skills to preserve your teeth and your make your smile much better cosmetically. Also, his staff is super friendly and makes an extra effort to understand your needs and accomodate your schedule. I have had many dentists and been to many dental offices in my lifetime, but I have now found a dental home. I can only sing praises for Dr. Hill and his staff. My family has been going to Dr. Hill for almost 8 years. The office is well run with friendly office personnel, pleasant and professional hygienists, and the expert and amiable Dr. Hill. Dr. Chumbley, who joined the practice maybe 2 or 3 years ago, is a real hit with my 10 year old son. He has a good way with kids, as does Dr. Hill. As an added bonus, the new office is beautiful. Additionally, there was a time when I was experiencing quite a bit of anxiety, and Dr. Hill and his staff were incredibly kind, compassionate and accommodating. They even remembered to ask me about it at future exams, demonstrating to me that they take good notes on their patients. Finally, Dr. Hill made my husband's smile great! He did a beautiful bridge and evened out one of his front teeth, and I must say, my husband is so happy with how it looks. I had a tooth that was becoming quite sensitive to cold. Dr. Hill removed a very large silver filling and replaced it with a crown. I have had implants, veneers and crowns done before, and this was by far the easiest procedure ever ! Both Dr. Hill and his assistant were professional, caring, and efficient, which I really appreciated. The procedure was painless and once the numbness wore off, my tooth felt great! There was a little irritation of the gum, the temporary tooth fit so well, there was no noticible difference between it and my real tooth. The office atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. I was greeted with a smile by the front staff; welcomed by the assistant; and impressed by the clean, modern, treatment rooms during the tour. I am amazed that I found The Hill Dental Group online! I am new to the area so I really didn't have anyone to ask for a recommendation. The Hill Dental Group may be a little more pricey than the average dentist, but you definitely get well above average care. From the call to make an appointment to the next day call to see how you are feeling, the service was excellent. The dentist and hygenists take the time to talk with you and make you feel comfortable. I really do not like going to the dentist, but I must say, I had no issues this time. This was my first visit to Hill dental, It's very close to my home and was anxious to try it but was hesitant due to I thought pricing was going to be high due to the area. Boy was I wrong they are actually very competitive on prices, I've never seen such a clean wonderful dentist office that is so welcoming and warm and sincere! I now will be changing my children's dentist and referring this group to all my friends. I highly recommend Dr Kristen Heft for all your dental needs. She is just ADORABLE and such a fantastic addition to the Hill Dental Group!! Every time that I see her, we laugh and talk about our families. it is like running into an old college roommate.
