On this particular day a young lady was working she was really cool so they have a card/ hobby side and across is retro games and game systems. I asked to check out the game side and she happily helped me out. The selection of games is vast they have n.e.s to newer gen stuff. They also have japanese games as well. I grabbed a couple of games and we headed back over to the hobby side to pay. The card shop is fairly well stocked they also have anime stickers/ car decals for sale. I saw some pokemon, one piece yu gi oh and various sports cards. All in all I enjoy coming here and they have a free card bin for anyone who would like to go through it.

He just ignored me. No "I'll be right with you" or anything. Just silence. After 10 min of standing at the register I put the card sleeves back and left. It would be 1 star if the worker was rude, but he was just oblivious.

Even items that are 50-75% off retail price are priced nearly double their competitors. So many cool items, gift ideas, holiday stocking stuffers, but I cant justify the price. Im commenting on the layout of the store as well, which I assume is like a maze to deter theft, loitering, but it is nauseating. Stay away if youre easily overstimulated.

The classic place that we've been associated as a seasonal shop to pick up the calendars for they year weather for yourself or gifting it to someone which I've done as everyone needs a calendar every year and why not pick up one in a type that's just for that person weather it's a cartoon, sports or that K-pop thang it does make a great gift. It used to be majority calendars with some toys are now slightly reversed as the toy section has grown much more and besides losing a lot of major toy stores does make the inventory at this store higher in demand. The calendar section is empty as they start to bring in the new ones though the toys and novelties here are quite funny and unique that I actually found a stress squeeze thing for myself that I thought would be fun and entertaining lol!! The staff here are a delight and can help you to find anything you might be looking for but I'm sure you'll walk out with something you least expect...in a great way ;-) Thank you!

His friend has recommended, saying they offer more closer to value than the other location I was going to go to. He himself had sold cards here and was offered way more than other places. I'm so glad I came here. The guy was really nice. They were somewhat busy but he gave the option of grading cards for her and Venmo so we dont have to drive back! We got a great deal. She was super happy. Lots of parking as it's in a little shopping center. Where Chuck ECheese was. Definitely recommend coming here to sell (and buy) cards. Support local!

What really surprised me was their trade-in policy. They were offering around 60-70% of market value for trades, which is already on the lower side compared to many card shops, and ONLY 35% for cash purchases. Located in Kailua Shopping Center this super cute shop is filled with all things for the keiki...and keiki in heart. They do keep up with the trend which currently is Halloween which is on sale at the moment all the decor and spooky fun items are clever and entertaining and bargain like that is just so hard to resist. This shop is much smaller in comparison to Kahala but it's still filled with so much items many are very local like saimin and shave ice plushie to Hawaii puzzles, toys and decor with items for infants to toddler I've shopped here for gifts and many all ages would just love as well. Lucky for me, I was able to snag a parking spot right in front of the shop. I do know that this parking lot can get pretty packed, especially on the weekends. We were asked to bring a baby book and I loved all the options here from local authors/ artists! I picked up the " Aloha Friday Keiki Club". But there were so many other cute titles that I think would be a great addition to a keiki's reading collection. I also picked up a teething ring in the shape of a monstera leaf. I'm truly obsessed with all the island themed baby things here! They do have greeting cards but I didn't see any baby shower specific ones but there were a few cute birthday cards. If you're in the market for a baby or keiki gift- this is the perfect spot to find what you need.

They had a ton of literature books at every single book and cranny of this store and it was substantial. I saw an old Aesop Fables book that I read when I was younger on the shelves as well - very nostalgic. I'm more of a manga girl so I didn't really see too much nooks that interested me - but if you're really into hardcore literature than this place is definitely it. They had so much books categorized and it felt a bit overwhelming - yet I liked it. I love the smell of books when you walk in, very comforting. I love physical books as well so shops like these are a gem. Had people manning the cashier but mostly just people browsing around enjoying the selection of books. Did not see the price range, but I would assume it is standard in comparison to B&N pricing.
