We were passing through and ordered brisket to go. The two servers we encountered were friendly and stayed busy. The restaurant appeared clean and was nicely decorated (except the Holsteins really didn't make a lot of sense.) The brisket seasoning was decent, but the meat was slightly dry (we ate in their parking lot.) The fries were awful. They tasted like they were cooked in oil that wasn't hot enough. The mac & cheese tasted like school cafeteria (overcooked noodles and odd taste.) The hot and sweet sauces appear to be vinegar based which I'm not a fan of. The hot isn't too bad. This location just opened up so I'd be willing to try them again, dining it. It was a relief to see employees smoking the food right outside (as we've encountered several bbq places that claim to serve smoked meat but don't actually smoke it.) read more

Had a mid-afternoon lunch here. This was not the best experience. Food did not arrive at proper temperature and was not edible. Sent it back, didn't get good service from that point forward. Hoping it was just an off day because I've had their food at a different location and it was good. Will try again in a busier day perhaps when the food is more likely to be fresh. Just not that great. Not the worst barbecue I've had, but not the best. The place was dark and the floor was sticky. The service was fine. The layout of the tables and booths didn't appear to have much thought put into it. I probably won't be going back anytime soon. read more

I ate here with a friend who wanted to try dining in as she had already had takeout. This is a new location for the brand. We had a wait of about 30 minutes. Hightop tables were offered for anybody waiting, but that was not an option since my friend is recovering from knee surgery. The room with hightop tables looked dark and gave off a bar vibe. The host was friendly and not visibly flustered by the growing line waiting in the vestibule and reception area. The manager did a good job accommodating customers as quickly as possible. I ordered the small single meat brisket plate. The brisket was good but dry. I did not like the Hogs Trough sauces. The potato salad was bland and had boiled egg wedges. (Ugh).The green beans were cooked in an ambiguous meat sauce which rendered them greasy. Be sure to ask what meat drippings were used if you don't eat any or all types of meat. I cannot address the pricing or correctness of my dinner since I did not receive my receipt. Normally, I would have requested it, but the reception area was stuffed with waiting customers eyeing our booth hungrily. Considering that glitches and learning curves are part of a new restaurant experience, I would consider trying this restaurant again if it's still in business next summer. read more

Service was good there. It's a new restaurant in an old restaurants place. They remodeled for the most part as it used to be a pizza place. However next to the table the edge of the carpet was loose which looked to me like a severe trip hazard! We ordered the barnyard platter of brisket, ribs, chicken(pulled and a quarter), pulled pork serves 6-8 with 6 sides, and 4 slices of toast. Stingy with the brisket and toast. Ribs were either old or over heated back up in the nukerwave, the other meat and sides were good but nothing to write home about, the focal point of the meal was the honey bun w/whipcream dessert you get when celebrating a birthday! Even though it's a run of the mill wal-mart style out of the plastic honey bun they amplify it in some sauce that makes you keep wanting more even when it's gone! read more

Place is amazing me my dad and brother and my friend went in to eat and ordered the potato skins and they are a 10/10. We ordered the 2 meat combo unless your Joey chestnut don't get a large it could be split between 4 people they are huge. Very great place next time we are in town we will be heading back read more

this place was actually insane. first of all, the tables were so wobbly i felt like if i breathed wrong it would just collapse. then the wait for my food--LIKE BE SO FR, it was literally two whole hours for two plates of fries. just fries. not a full meal. not a steak. fries. unbelievable. and when the food finally came out? it tasted like straight-up dishwater. like they rinsed a sponge over the plate and called it seasoning. then my brother was sitting under this random tv they bolted to the wall and almost gave himself a concussion because he stood up and cracked his head on the corner. like why is a health hazard part of the décor??? my friend's tea cup legit smelled like... parts of a man that should NEVER be anywhere near a dining table. and my other friend's honey mustard? i'm sorry, but it looked like someone busted a load in the little plastic cup. i can't unsee it. AND FOR WHAT??? two plates of fries for $12?? be so serious. the ONLY good thing was the vibe, and honestly that's just because we were trying to make the best out of it. never. going. back. read more

On Valentine's Day we decided to try this restaurant. We were very happy with our choice. We ordered the special, which included the steak. It was great. My steak was returned as I don't want any pink at all. I like it well done. They did this with a smile. They even allowed us to replace the shrimp with stuffed mushrooms. Everything was delicious. The food was very hot, the way it should be. Our waitress was perfect. Very friendly and attentive. She kept our drinks filled and asked us several times if everything was ok. The only complaint I have would be to serve carbonated water for people that want the carbonation without the sugar or caffeine. I would give this restaurant a 10 if they had that rating. Hopefully when we return we will have this same experience again. Make sure to order the stuffed mushrooms, they are amazing and you get a lot of them. Can't wait to go back again! read more
