This is the 2nd time we have eaten here in the last 5 years. The food is terrific! I am not sure they get many tourists, which is unfortunate for people traveling through this area. M's is small and delightfully rustic. I only wish we lived closer. We would be here about once or twice a month. If you are looking for fancy, this isn't the place! Another great lunch visit! This place fills up fast and has limited seating, so if you want to come here for lunch I would recommend getting there early. Otherwise, you could always order takeout. My group arrived right after open and were seated quickly. The waitress was polite and had a great attitude. She recommended that I get one of the specials, a ham and brie sandwich, and she was not wrong. The sandwich was awesome! Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals, and of course we started with another order the fried pickles with that homemade ranch. I enjoyed today's lunch at M's Eatery. We came in at around 12:45 PM. They open at noon so it was perfect timing but it was already full so we had to wait a while. Once our table was ready, we were seated and ordered their Cobb salad (small portion), wings, and their Mac N' Cheese with crispy chicken. You can either have it with their buffalo of Nashville Hot sauces. I tried both on the side only because I wanted to taste the Nashville Hot sauce. It was okay, a bit sweet and spicy. It's the kind of spice that if you do t like spice, it would be too hot. All in all, it was a great meal. I loved the service. Our server had a great sense of humor and it was an all women employed establishment. The restaurant itself is small. This is why it took a while to be seated but the food made up for it. If I'm ever in Kentucky. I will surely stop by M's Eatery again. read more

10/17/24 I came here for the first time as I was in town for work and visiting my friend. She recommended this place as she said it's her favorite and due to their limited open availability, she doesn't always get to enjoy their food. M's Eatery is such a quaint little spot with a warm homey ambiance. The service was excellent--Aimee, our server, was incredibly attentive. I ordered the sticky Korean wings and loaded fries, and the portions were so generous that I had leftovers to share with my husband for dinner. This place is kinda in the middle of nowhere just a touch outside of downtown maysville. It has a nice interior but somewhat limited space during busy brunch hours. Parking on the street is easy. Staff are friendly and very welcoming. Expect a little wait if they are busy or understaff. The manager was friendly and understanding and kept us informed about the delays. Food wise, i got the whiskey burger, she got the fish sandwich, and we shared a sticky Korean wings. Coming from nyc expectation, these 3 items we ordered were fantastic!! The Korean wings for the price is excellent with tons of meats/crunch and sauce. The salad with their special fruity jam was yum. The breading in the fried catfish was minimal so you get to taste the fish. The burger was deliciously made. The potato fries are great and fresh. I can't find a negative about it, except the small delays in service we got, which was insignificant considering they are family owned and we know they are trying their best. We were just passing through Maysville and found this little restaurant on Yelp. We love local restaurants and we were glad we found this one! Our server Amy managed to serve the whole place and did so pleasantly and efficiently. We ordered fried pickles to start and although not pictured, we're among the best we've had. The meals came out quickly and they were plentiful and delicious! I spoke to the folks preparing food behind the counter and these folks are the friendliest people you'll find. Located in an older brick building near the Ohio River, it is decorated with antique furniture and decorative items from days gone by. This is one of those hidden gems everyone loves to visit. Not an overwhelming menu but it changes frequently. My sister's love it so we stopped by on Saturday afternoon for lunch. Wood work everywhere and deer antlers used as decor made it feel like a getaway or if you were deep in the woods instead of downtown Maysville. Some of the best burgers and fries I've ever ate. A coworker recommended this place. This was by far best food we had eaten in months. Everything is made fresh. They have one menu for the month. Most everyone locally calls in their order. Salad dressings are made from scratch. My wife had a muffin with her meal & it had apple pie filling inside it. I had Ky melt. (Basically a hot brown sandwich) Portions were big. You are not going away hungry. It was an hour drive. We had to set outside (Due to Uncle Andy) Each table had an umbrella, and our server gave each of us our own pitcher of tea. This is a unique rustic place in a small town. I think the menu changes often because it is a small menu and they were out of a couple items. However, the Yardbird sandwich was very good . Topped with pimento cheese and a side of homemade chips, and for dessert we got the peach cobbler. read more

The best food in the entire area! I had the Buffalo chicken mac and cheese and my husband had the Cubano wrap. My chicken breast was the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked, moist, tender, and just the right amount of breading. My husband's wrap was amazing. A perfectly balanced bite. We also had tomato basil soup. I don't typically enjoy it, but I had a bite and kept going back for more. My husband and I could not stop talking about how good this food was. We were looking for a lunch spot while driving the Ohio River Scenic Byway and M's was just a quick detour onto the Kentucky side. Had lunch here today. Being from out of town, it was our first visit, and we decided on this spot based on the great reviews. We were not disappointed! The food was homemade and excellent. The owner waited on us and was very pleasant to deal with. FYI, due to COVID there was no indoor seating, but being a pleasant day, it was not a problem sitting outside. I had the wings. Supper tender and juicy. Korean style sauce sweet and sticky. They came with ranch dressing which I didn't really think was necessary (because the wings were so good) that I just couldn't stop eating with the homemade potato chips.
