We stopped in to get my sister some local honey, but what we found was so much more. Fresh jams, and locally grown fruits and vegetables for a much better price than the supermarkets. I purchased the most beautiful cucumbers, ginger root and tomatoes. My total was $2.37!!!! Color me very happily impressed! Friendly helpful staff, checkout folks, and plus... Get this. A discount for paying in cash. I appreciate the honest way that they do business here. I try to support local businesses and enjoy using fresh quality, locally sourced produce. I like knowing that I am saving money. This business tics every box. They did a great thing here. Easily five stars! Of course, I will be back.

I really like this location of Aldi. It is pretty clean. It's organized. They usually have…read moreenough registers going. Most of all I like the good prices on their groceries. As I entered tonight there was an employee removing the empty boxes from the shelves and tiding up the shelves from a busy shopping day. There was another employee in the freezer section restocking. They had three registers running with another ready to open if they got backed up. The employees act like they care. I am usually a loyal customer to name brands. At Aldi, I feel confident in buying their store brands. Their crackers, cereal, cookies, and many other items are actually better than the name brands. Their frozen foods are great. The produce is fresh. They also sell some nonfood items. Some toys. Sometimes gardening items. It changes seasonally. Tonight they had holiday decorations on display.

Aldi makes me happy. Yes, they're limiting purchases of some meats but you can always walk out and…read morewalk back in if you're feeding a big family. But the prices? Steaks and chicken and pork are cheap, cheap. And the produce is cheap. And the dairy is cheap. I find that I can pick up about three quarters of my family shop here and it costs less than half of what it does at Publix or Teeter. And I have never had a problem with quality like I do from Walmart. The store is clean and well stocked. The staff are friendly and helpful (there just aren't many of them) and the parking lot is clean. Yes, you need to bring a quarter for your cart (this policy is not in force during the pandemic) and you will be bagging your own groceries. They sell bags, so you'll want to bring your own. AMAZING!!! We…read morecannot say enough GRATE things about this company. We did our wedding in Cleveland, NC and were beyond happy with the service Grate povided. We had the pleasure of working with Sarah and she was beyond what we could have expected. She shows a true passion for the customer service she provides. Whether it be quickly replying to our countless questions or going into in depth detail about all of the food options we were selecting. She was a ginormous part of why we ended up choosing this caterer. Another awesome thing about this company is that they are reasonably priced, and are willing to work with you on the price. For our budget, we were picking options on the cheaper end and they weren't pushy about the more expensive options at all. If anything, they were looking for ways to help us do things a little cheaper which we really appreciated. As for the food, we heard only awesome reviews from our guests! The late night grilled cheese bar was the best decision we could have made, extremely affordable and absolutely delicious! All in all, would highly recommend there services for any event!

An extra bonus was the fact that they have mixed matched antique dinnerware that you can rent! It was great for me as I did not have to get another vendor involved for rentals! I would recommend Grate Catering to ALL brides! Thank you so much for making my wedding day amazing Grate Catering Team! I truly appreciate all the hard work and dedication to quality in your food and presentation!

My most recent visit to The Stock Market was on a Thursday evening this past July. On a previous…read morevisit to the Concord/Charlotte area, we found The Smoke Pit when searching online for a good barbeque spot near our location. Since they are in the same building, we also discovered The Stock Market. We love the restaurant so much and returned on this trip to the area, so we also made a return trip to the butcher shop this time around. The Stock Market is located on Concord Parkway, just a few minutes off of 85. It is in its own building that is half restaurant and half meat market, but all the same entity. There is plenty of parking in front and on the side of the building. However, it seems to fill up with all of the patrons coming and going! You will have no issue locating the place, as it is clearly marked with signage. Just note that the hours for the store differ from the restaurant, with the store closing earlier. We stopped here just after 5:00 PM, and it was not terribly busy. There is usually a lot of action in the area due to the restaurant, but the market portion has never been overwhelmingly crowded when I have visited. There is a lot of signage to direct and instruct patrons to the correct side of the building for the market. After you enter on the right side of the building, you walk right into the store. This shop is definitely a true butcher shop. There are so many different types and cuts of meat. Fresh, frozen, shelf-stable, and more varieties await you. There are other select grocery items, but you would not be able to complete all of your typical grocery shopping at this one store. They also sell bones and specific items for dogs. We bought our dog a bone, and he loved it! As stated, there are fresh and frozen meat options available. The selection is great, and you are able to find a lot of different types and cuts not typically available in a traditional grocery store. Most of the meat seems to be prepared in-house, but there are also some name-brand items throughout (such as for sausage). There are a lot of options already on the shelves, but I would assume if you were looking for something specific that it could be cut and packaged right there. In the back, there is a fresh meat counter where you can pick your exact weight and have it packed right there. A deli counter is beside it, offering lunch meats and cheeses. It did not look like they produce their own lunch meats, but it is an option if you are in the store. There were also some hot, ready-to-eat items in this area too. There are signs hanging advertising the different bundles that you can buy. There is a Chicken Bundle, Beef Bundle, and Pork Bundle, which all contain 5 different varieties of the respective meat. The total weight is around 25 pounds per bundle. The Variety Bundle allows you to mix and match 5 different types of meat, each in 5 pound increments. This would be a nice way to try different types and cuts of meat or to stock up your freezer. The prices here are decent and comparable to any other meat store. They had a deal on select packages that you could mix and match to get 5 packages for $29.99, presumably presenting some savings. There was also a discount freezer in the rear of the store with items marked down to half off. Though, for the quality of meat and vast selection, the prices here are not too bad. Each time I have visited the store, the staff has been kind and helpful. There are cashiers up front, as well as deli and counter staff in the back ready to serve the customers coming in. We have enjoyed stopping into The Stock Market when we find ourselves eating at The Smoke Pit. It is a nice butcher shop with a good amount of variety and fresh items. The prices are fair, and all of the staff is friendly. Would recommend giving this spot a try if you are local to the area!
